Feeling the mysterious, yet familiar voice of his master, Nulambart could not be happier. Having more energy to stand up in your inner space.
"Master, then you can help me from now on, hahaha, I am very happy!" said Nulambart, who looked hotly at the golden lotus in front of him.
"Don't be an idiot, boy! I have previously told you that in 1 month I will have to rest, and currently it has not been more than 1 week and you expect me to help you... Hmmp. Your teacher's words have great weight, my disciple," said the golden lotus already with the most neutral voice.
"So I will have to continue without his help? But will I be able to continue listening to him?" Nulambart asked sadly.
Nulambart had simply been through a lot in the span of a week since he had become a martial cultivator with the help of his master.
"My recovery time remains the same, and I will no longer be able to talk to you again… I was only able to talk to you because you unexpectedly increased your cultivation substantially boy, which allowed me to gain some power to talk to you now, but I will no longer be able to do so again," the golden lotus replied.
Nulambart felt a void in his heart upon hearing his master's words.
Of course, I'll have to continue on my way alone for several more days., My teacher is really stingy. Nulambart thought to himself.
"Stupid disciple, how can you think such things about your adorable master!" the voice within the golden lotus immediately rebuked.
At this, Nulambart felt his head spin, ending up on his back against the grass of the room in his interior space.
"How is it possible that…" Nulambart said on the ground, but the teacher interrupted him before he could finish.
"I do not have the power to interfere with your soul and I do not even wish to… But please control the expressions on your face," Nulambart's master finished by saying, who had some stress built up in his voice.
Then Nulambart wondered if he was really as expressive as his teacher had said, or if he was infected by the expressions of his new friend Aggi.
While Nulambart was thinking about his friendship with Aggi, looking up at the sky.
"Wait, are we friends or not?…" said Nulambart.
"Idiot disciple! Stop thinking about nonsense and listen carefully," said the teacher, clearly impatient.
"Look boy, although I can't interfere in your thoughts, I have been able to hear and know what has been happening to you, and I know the damage that using that ability you call Temporal Divergence so much has caused you," the teacher's voice began to explain.
"Luckily the damage you caused to your soul by using that ability can be repaired with the same herb that you are going to use to save your parents, just as you can help the strange girl who accompanies you"
"Don't you dare perform that skill again until you reach the incipient avatar realm, and if you can, it's best not to use it until I can awaken in a few more weeks."
Hearing this warning, Nulambart could simply nod with a heavy heart, since Temporal Divergence was the only skill in his repertoire, and it had helped him on many occasions.
"Thank you for warning me, teacher… I love him very much," said Nulambart, who, surprised by his teacher's solidarity in sharing this information, really saved his future.
Since Nulambart was a person who had been despised by many people for most of his life, this simple warning from the master had brought poor Nulambart a great show of affection in his mind.
"This real child… Ahhh… It doesn't matter boy, have a good trip, don't be late because the girl outside is worried," the teacher's voice simply let out a sigh between his words, and then simply dismissed Nulambart.
Nulambart, upon finishing listening to his teacher, was ejected from his inner space in his soul, looking at Abbi who was still calling him.
"Nulambart, are you okay?" asked Aggi, who saw how Nulambart opened his eyes again after a while.
"Ahh… Yes, yes, I'm fine Aggi, don't worry Friend," Nulambart responded, looking at Aggi, and then standing up.
Nulambart had kept the question about Aggi's friendship in his head, and he simply said it without thinking about it subconsciously.
Hearing Nulambart, Aggi opened his eyes widely, and laughing, showing both his upper and lower teeth, said:
"Well if surviving together can be considered friendship, then we are, my friend Nulambart the creek worm," Aggi said laughing, who also accepted Nulambart's friendship.
Then the next moment Nulambart turned like a tomato, he felt like his face and ears were burning. This was mainly because Nulambart simply did not expect to call Aggi a friend so suddenly, but also because of Aggi's response that reminded her of the incident when they first met.
Without a doubt, this extremely sincere young woman was a memorable figure to say the least for Nulambart.
The next moment. Nulambart and Aggi agreed to continue on their path into the Elvareth Forest, but first they had to resolve certain issues.
The first issue was that Nulambart had still saved the medicines and bandages that he had taken from his house, so he applied all the bandages and medicine at his disposal to help Aggi until they reached his village.
The last thing was to figure out how they could get to Aggi's village, since Nulambart knew that there were spirit beasts that even the strongest members of his village could not face, which is why this was a forbidden place for the villagers.
Nulambart clearly felt the aura of many spirit beasts near his location, which made his scalp tense just thinking that this place was probably infected with beasts even stronger than the demihuman that had almost killed them earlier.
Then, sensing Nulambart's concern, Aggi began to explain the situation around the forest.
"My village is relatively close to the beginning of the forest, and we have to go through a cave that my ancestors made in case there were problems, which is following the stream for about 100 meters, and then going up a small hill, finding itself in the center of it."
"This cave was built by my ancestors hundreds of years ago in case of emergency, who were simply impressive, and recently I was the first member of my village to cross over to seek help," the girl continued with an expression of extreme pride on her face, clasping her arms on her chest.
"I crossed the small boat with which you met me in the stream, since it was the fastest way to avoid the 100 meters that separate us from the cave, due to the danger of the nearby spiritual beasts"
"Then we have to go quickly to the cave, I would recommend going through the stream, which although it is current, can be crossed by cultivators like us, and in the village thanks to the energy of the talisman that covers my village we can be safe," the girl finished saying, explaining in detail how she had been able to get out and how they could enter her village.
Then they decided to continue their course safely along the stream, in the deeper areas they both actually had to swim instead of walk, which against the current was extremely tiring.
Likewise, they tried to make as little noise as possible, as well as not to use their soul energy, so it was an extremely difficult journey for a young girl who was extremely exhausted after fighting, as well as Nulambart who could not use both arms due to different injuries.
They spent 2 hours fighting against the current, Nulambart doing what he could using his arm with the broken wrist to move and propel himself, with his face that seemed to have turned like a ghost that had its lips turning blue. That while Aggi was in no better condition as he was constantly gasping for air.
However, they soon had good news and bad news.
"Look Nulambart, there is the hill, it seems that we will arrive safely without running into any spiritual beasts and…" said the girl, who had realized that the hill they had to climb to get to the cave was very close.
However, he couldn't finish explaining everything when they both felt a chill run down their spines.
This after sensing the aura of two spirit beasts fighting each other nearby.
"Nulambart, tell me you felt the same as me," Aggi said putting his hands over his mouth, speaking extremely quietly to Nulambart.
Nulambart nodded his head slightly, and then turned his head towards the direction where the auras came from, to see something extremely terrifying.
About 20 meters from their location, following the ancient stone path next to the stream, there was a bear with an exuberant golden aura that was approximately 3 meters tall, with dark golden fur and sharp claws, which made it look extremely dangerous.
That bear was currently fighting with a carnivorous plant with a length of 10 meters, which had a green aura just like its color on its stem, but also had an extremely large, mouth-like cavity, through which it was trying to directly engulf the bear that was desperately struggling to escape.
"Aggi, can you perceive the ranges of those beasts?" Nulambart asked in a bewildered manner.
When asked, Aggi simply frowned, forming a cross with his arms, so Nulambart sensed that it was one of the many expressions that Aggi used to try to contain his voice as much as possible.
But he couldn't help but say: "The bear inspires a fear in me that is several times stronger than the guard, and the plant that tries to eat him, I fear, is unfathomable for us today."
After that, feeling the aura pulses colliding with each other, they could see that the bear could not win the battle and was engulfed by the carnivorous plant.
Suddenly, when Nulambart again saw the forest through which he had traveled several hundred meters in the stream, he felt that all the legends and reasons why they had forbidden this forest for the members of his village were right, since just a tiny section of this forest was truly frightening.
What do we have to do now?… I am paralyzed with fear in front of this forest. Nulambart knew in his head that nothing good could come from the forest, and that luckily he had Aggi with him to guide him and give him a chance to survive.
Then he looked at the girl, who was still shocked by the situation, with both hands trying to cover her eyes, but through them she could see what was happening.
Sensing Nulambart's gaze, the young woman simply smiled back, before completely changing her expression, frowning and saying solemnly:
"Nulambart, I think we have to take advantage of the fact that the plant has already eaten to go straight to the cave."
Nulambart nodded towards the proposal, and then remembered that Aggi still had his whip that despite having lost all his power, perhaps he could do something, therefore he asked:
"Aggi, can we use your whip to get closer to the cave faster?" said Nulambart looking at the weapon that Aggi had strapped to his waist.
"Impossible to use, previously due to the use of the forbidden technique I used all the power that was inside, now it is simply a family heirloom that luckily did not disintegrate," Aggi responded briefly, with a sad expression on his face.
So there was no other option but to get out of the stream with normal means and run to the hill, climb and hope that they were lucky enough not to encounter another beast along the way, and hope that the plant that was ingesting the bear did not move from its place.
They proposed to make the least elaborate plan they could use, but in their current situation there was no other choice.
"Ready… Set… Out," Aggi commanded, whispering to Nulambart.
The next moment they both left the stream and began to run towards the hill that was a few meters from the stone path.
As they emerged from the cold stream, all soaked, they could notice more clearly how the wind from the forest made them feel as if they were standing inside a glacier, but without giving up they were able to run for a few seconds until they reached the hill.
"Okay Nulambart, just follow me and we will arrive at the entrance of the cave in a few seconds," Aggi said resolutely, guiding Nulambart.
They then began to climb for a few brief seconds, when they finally caught a glimpse of a small hole in the hill about a meter in size, through which a crouching person could enter.
"Nulambart is there, we can get there safely," said Aggi, who had acted especially diligently in guiding them to the cave.
She is quite reliable in these cases. Nulambart couldn't help but see the girl differently.
However, just when Nulambart was thinking about that, the hair on his body stood up when he heard something behind him.
¡Gluurk!
It was the carnivorous plant that at some point had finished swallowing the bear, and that now saw two easy prey running near its location.
Then incredibly roots emerged from the carnivorous plant that looked more like tentacles, making the plant appear much more ferocious and majestic, having a height of approximately 15 meters.
The plant was sensing them, since although it had no eyes, its kind of mouth was directly pointing at them, showing keyhole teeth that looked like a real nightmare.
"Damn, that horrible plant wants to eat us… Run Nulambart!" Aggi shouted nervously, who pushed Nulambart with one hand to get closer to the cave.
The next second, the plant had already taken a step, bringing it within just 10 meters of the young people.
Nulambart felt a chill all over his body, as that thing was undoubtedly unfathomable.
They were only 3 meters away from arriving, when the plant decided to attack from that distance, so it opened its incredible kind of mouth and launched itself against Nulambart and Aggi who simply used all their energy to reach the cave as soon as possible.
¡Gluuuurk!
The beast attacked both young men with a horrible bite at an extremely fast speed, that bite would mean certain death for anyone.
However, just before it could touch them, the young people entered through the small hole in the cavern, so the beast's attack was only met with air and the extremely hard rock that covered the cave.
Inside the cave.
Nulambart and Aggi were breathing heavily as they watched the carnivorous plant simply not be able to attack them, but knowing that they were one step away from not being able to escape alive.
"Hahaha, this cave has the protection of my ancestors, stupid horrible bear-eating plant," Aggi finished saying with a happy expression.
"You and your phrases so... Ohm. Original," I can't help but respond to Nulambart, who simply regulating his breathing, was also happy to continue living another day.
Then he turned around to see the light at the end of the cavern with hopeful eyes, since he knew what it meant.
Aggi, seeing Nulambart's expression, only smiled and said: "That's Nulambart, what you can see at the end of this tunnel is my village, the village of Elvareth."
After saying that, both of them stood up and continued on their way towards the village.
