LIANA'S POV
Her face flushed red. "I'm not worried. I'm warning you."
Before I could respond, Beta Gavron returned carrying two identical documents. He set them on the table between us, along with a small pot of red ink and two quills.
"The contracts are straightforward," he said. "House Sedimo agrees to provide protection, resources, and political support during the Luna trials. In return, you agree to certain obligations should you succeed in winning the Prince's hand."
Nisha reached for her document immediately, unfolding it to read the contents. I could see her eyes scanning the formal language, her brow furrowing as she tried to understand the legal terminology.
I picked up my quill and signed my name at the bottom without reading a single word.
Beta Gavron's eyebrows rose. "You're not going to review the terms?"
"Lord Thalen trusts you," I said simply. "That's enough for me."
