Chapter 1 - Chapter 1:I Can't lose you

May 15, 2025

It had been six months since they last saw each other.

For the past six months, both of them had been busy with their own careers but still kept in touch through calls, messages, and nights where they'd fall asleep hugging their phones instead of each other.

Elyan had been filming nonstop. As the lead actor in a upcoming movie, he was everywhere billboards, TV shows, social media trends. He was living his dream, but it was also exhausting. He barely had time to rest, much less reply to every message Kairo sent. And deep inside, he missed him every single day.

Kairo, on the other hand, was riding the wave of his solo career. After their group went on hiatus, he finally debuted on his own. His solo concert tour was a hit, and endorsements kept flooding in. His calendar was filled from morning to midnight. Yet, after every performance, when the lights dimmed and the crowds faded, it was Elyan's voice he longed to hear.

They weren't fighting. They were just… busy. Too busy. And that made it worse.

But finally, that day came. A short break in Elyan's filming schedule. A one-day gap in Kairo's tour.

No press. No fans. No stylists.

Just them.

Elyan waited in the quiet hotel lobby, wearing a plain hoodie and a cap pulled low. His heart beat faster with every passing second. Then the elevator doors opened, and there he was.

Kairo.

Sunglasses on. Messy silver hair. A tired smile.

"Hey," Elyan said, standing up.

Kairo smiled, soft and replayed. "Hey."

They stared at each other for a long moment. Just being in the same space again felt almost unreal. After six long months apart no meetings, no touches the longing in their eyes spoke louder than words. In that silent exchange, they could see how deeply they missed each other.

Then they hugged each other tightly, as if they'd been holding their breath for months, finally finding relief in that close embrace.

"I missed you so much," Elyan whispered into Kairo's ear, sending butterflies fluttering in Kairo's stomach.

Kairo pulled back and looked into his eyes. "You have no idea how much I've been longing for you, El."

Then he leaned in and gave Elyan a soft, warm kiss on the lips. Elyan kissed him back without hesitation.

Their kiss was tender sweet and full of emotion. When they finally pulled away, breathless, their foreheads rested gently against each other's. They gazed into each other's eyes, a mix of longing and quiet desire between them.

And then, they simply smiled.

""Let's go upstairs to our room," Kairo said, a playful, foxy smile dancing on his lips.

Elyan nodded sweetly and leaned in closer, his voice soft. "Lead the way, my fox."

They went up to their room, where the world finally stopped spinning.

As soon as they stepped inside, their lips met again this time deeper, more desperate, like they were starved for each other's touch. The kiss was intense, yet still laced with sweetness.

Within moments, Kairo had already slipped off Elyan's clothes, leaving only his boxers. Without breaking the kiss, he gently lifted Elyan into his arms and carried him toward the bedroom.

Once inside, Kairo laid him softly on the bed. Their lips finally parted, and Elyan took a breath, his chest rising and falling. While Kairo began unbuttoning his own shirt, and Elyan watched him and his cheeks flushed.

It had been six months. Six months without this closeness. He felt shy like it was their first time all over again but also thrilled, heart racing. And as he looked at Kairo handsome, and sexy figure, Elyan felt, a quiet pride.

"Only me," El whispered to himself.

Only he had the right to see Kairo like this, to be this close. And tonight, they were finally whole again.

"Looks like you still have time to think about other things... even now," Kairo teased with a low chuckle, bringing Elyan back to the moment.

"I'm just thinking about how perfect my boyfriend is," Elyan replied with a soft smile, eyes full of love.

Kairo leaned in and kissed him again. Elyan kissed back, matching the rhythm gentle and full of longing.

Kairo's lips began to trail lower from Elyan's lips to his jaw, then down his neck. Each kiss was slow, deliberate, leaving warm marks along his skin. He moved further, across his collarbone, down his chest, and to his stomach, making Elyan shiver with every touch.

Every kiss whispered, I missed you.

Kairo's kisses grew slower, more intense, making Elyan tremble beneath him. His hands moved carefully, sliding down the waistband of Elyan's boxers, revealing what he'd missed for so long.

With a soft chuckle and a loving gaze, he whispered, "I missed you too."

Elyan gasped, breath hitching as Kairo continued every touch, every kiss, full of longing and devotion. The air between them grew warmer, heavier. Elyan's hand found Kairo's hair, gripping gently as he bit his lip, trying to hold back a moan.

"K-Kairo... wai—ahh..."

Their bodies moved in sync, guided by love and months of aching separation, their hearts finally beating together again.

Their bodies melted into each other, hands roaming, hearts racing. The room echoed with whispers, soft gasps, and the rhythm of two souls reuniting after too long apart.

And then darkness took over, soft and gentle.

The night wrapped around them like a warm blanket, hiding the world outside.

The next morning…

Golden sunlight slipped through the curtains, casting a soft glow on the tangled sheets. Elyan slowly opened his eyes, blinking against the light.

Kairo was already awake, lying beside him, his head resting on kairo arm, just watching him with the softest smile.

"Good morning, sleepyhead," he whispered.

Elyan stretched, then smiled back, voice still sleepy. "Morning…"

They didn't say anything for a while. They didn't need to. Their fingers laced together under the covers, and their legs stayed tangled, refusing to let go.

"I missed waking up like this," Elyan finally said, eyes locked on Kairo's.

Kairo leaned in, brushing their noses together. "Then let's make sure we never go this long without each other again."

Elyan nodded, kissing him gently. "Deal."

After the shower, they wrapped themselves in soft bathrobes, steam still lingering in the air. Kairo sat down and gently began drying Elyan's damp hair with a towel, careful and tender.

Elyan, feeling relaxed and cared for he smiled softly. His own hair was already dry, but watching Kairo's focused just yo dry his hair with a gentle expression made his heart flutter.

"Your hair got longer," Kairo teased, while drying Elyan's hair

"You lost weight," Elyan said, concerned.

Kairo just smiled, leaned in, and gave Elyan a quick, playful smack kiss on the lips.

Elyan whispered, "I don't want to be apart from you again."

Kairo, still drying Elyan's hair with a towel, paused and met his gaze. "You won't," he said gently. "Not anymore."

Elyan's leaned into kairo, eyes fluttering shut for a moment. The warmth between them was quiet but deep like sunlight after a long storm.

"When I woke up and saw you beside me," Kairo added, voice low and tender,

"it felt like everything was finally right."

Elyan chuckled softly, brushing a thumb across Kairo's jaw. "We really missed each other, huh?"

Kairo smiled, leaning in to press a soft, lingering kiss to Elyan's lips. "Yeah. And I'm never letting us be apart for this long again."

They stayed like that for a while, wrapped in each other and the calm of a brand new morning. The soft rustle of the curtains, the scent of shampoo still lingering in the air it all felt like peace.

Elyan's cheeks flushed lightly, but he couldn't stop the grin tugging at his lips.

"I don't want to be apart from you either," he murmured, threading his fingers through Kairo's.

"I love you," Kairo whispered into his ear, the words brushing his skin like a kiss.

"Me too," Elyan breathed, pulling him in for another soft kiss.

Kairo was about to kiss him back when—

Ding-dong.

They both froze.

The sound of the doorbell cut through the silence like a crack in glass.

Elyan pulled back, blinking. "Did you… order something?"

Kairo shook his head slowly. "No. Did you?"

They exchanged a look. Unease crept between them.

The warmth of the moment faded just slightly as Elyan's stood, "maybe it's a room service" fixing his bathrobe and moving toward the door.

Kairo sat up, heart beating a little faster. "Be careful," he said quietly.

Elyan's glanced back and gave a small reassuring smile but something in his chest didn't sit right.

As he reached for the doorknob, the air felt too still.

Elyan's slowly opened the door, only to find… no one.

The hallway was empty.

A tray of food sat neatly on the floor room service they didn't order.

El's glanced both ways down the hallway, but it was quiet. Too quiet.

He bent down to pick up the tray, his brows furrowed.

Elyan carried the tray inside and was about to close the door when someone suddenly stopped it and pushed it open wide.

What he saw made him freeze.

"Wh-who are you?" Elyan asked, his voice cracking.

He scanned the figure a tall man, dressed in all black, wearing a cap and a mask.

Then his eyes dropped to the man's hand...

He was holding a knife.

Elyan's body locked up. His heart dropped to his stomach. He couldn't move.

Kairo, confused by the silence, called from the bed, "Elyan? What's taking so long?"

No answer.

He got up and walked toward the door.

There, he saw Elyan standing in front of someone but he couldn't see Elyan's face because his back was turned to him.

"Elyan?" Kairo called out, his voice filled with confusion, thinking it might just be an overexcited fan who somehow found them.

Then it happened.

The man said something low too soft to hear. But before they could react, he lunged forward.

The knife went straight into Elyan's stomach.

Kairo's world shattered.

"No!" he shouted, running to Elyan.

Elyan gasped, grabbing his side. Blood stained his shirt instantly. He fell to his knees.

Kairo tackled the man, punching him in the face. "You bastard!"

But the man fought back, landing a hard punch that sent Kairo crashing to the ground.

Then—three brutal stabs to Kairo's side.

"KA—KAIRO!!" Elyan screamed, crawling toward him.

Kairo's vision blurred, but he didn't stop. He grabbed the man's arm, twisted it, and finally snatched the knife.

He slashed the man's arm, hard.

The attacker cried out and ran, blood trailing behind him.

Elyan tried his best to move. His hands were red, sticky. He tried to scream, but his throat closed up.

Elyan's stumbled toward kairo, blood dripping down his side.He knelt beside kairo and gently cupped his face.

"A-Are you okay? El… Elyan, are you hurt?" Kairo asked, gasping for air.

Elyan nodded slowly, tears streaming down his face, his whole body trembling. "Y-You're bleeding..." he choked out, voice breaking.

Kairo smiled weakly. "It's just a little… It's okay."

"No! It's not!" Elyan sobbed. "You're hurt. You're hurt badly."

He pressed his hands to Kairo's wounds, trying to stop the bleeding.

"Please… someone help! Anyone!"

But the hall was quiet. No footsteps. No help.

Kairo's breathing slowed. "Hey… don't cry."

"Please, stay awake! I'm gonna call for help. You're going to be okay, I swear!"

"I'm okay," Kairo whispered. "Just knowing you're not badly hurt… and that I love you… that's all I need."

Elyan sobbed harder. "Please, don't say that. It sounds like you're saying goodbye. I need you. I can't lose you, Kairo… please—"

Kairo leaned in, kissed him softly. His lips warm, but fading.

Kairo reached out his hand to touch Elyan's face, his thumb gently brushing a tear away. Then he whispered, "I'm okay… Don't cry… I love you…" while smiling softly, with no hint of regret in his eyes.

And just after he said that, his hand slipped from Elyan's cheek—and his body went still.

"No… Kairo? Kairo!! Please open your eyes!" Elyan cried, his voice breaking.

"I can't lose you! Kairo, wake up, please!" His tears fell harder as he clutched Kairo's unmoving body. "We promised… we promised we'd never be apart again! Please open your goddamn eyes!"

He held Kairo tighter, burying his face into his chest, feeling the warmth slowly fading turning cold.

"Don't leave me behind…" Elyan whispered, broken.

Elyan held him tighter, screaming, shaking. "Wake up! Please! Don't leave me! I need you!"

He pressed his face into Kairo's neck, now cold with sweat and blood.

The lights felt too bright. The room too quiet. The silence too loud.

Elyan's vision blurred, his strength fading. The blood loss was too much.

His last memory was his arms around kairo, even in pain.

Then everything went dark.
