Chapter 1 the confrontation

The sound of slaps fills the room, and a cold voice reverberated through the place. "How dare you question me? You pathetic excuse of a human being. I wish you were never born," he said, grabbing you by the arm. "You should have kept your mouth shut and not been bold. Now, this is what you get," he said as he furiously shoved you to the ground.

‎A small laugh escaped your mouth, laced with hatred and pity. "What's so funny?" he asked, sounding irritated. He picked you up from the floor and shoved you again to make the laugh go away. "You're still laughing. Why are you still laughing?" he questioned, getting frustrated.

‎Picking yourself up, you got up and stared at him straight in the face and responded, "Because you're pathetic. Not only that, you're an idiot to think that you can scare me with your little antics and silly anger."

‎He walked furiously to you and grabbed you by the arm, but this time, you shoved his hand away. "Get your hands off me, you pathetic excuse of a human being, and don't you ever touch me again."

‎He was stunned, hearing you respond so bravely. "So, you can actually defend yourself, huh?" he questioned. "But I'm the one in charge here. Do you understand me? I am," he said, walking slowly towards you with an effort to intimidate you.

‎But you had other plans for him. You walked slowly towards him, giving him a menacing look. "Who do you think you are?" you said, looking as fierce as ever. "This is my house, and you'll respect me in my house, or better still, you can leave," you said coldly.

‎He was taken aback. "What did you just say?" "You aren't only stupid, but deaf as well. Well, I'll repeat myself because of your slowness. I said this is my house, and you'll respect me in my house, or you can get the hell out." He stood in place, shocked at your transformation.

‎"Isn't she the same person who wouldn't let me out of her sight, who pampered me and loved me unconditionally? What happened to her?" he thought, but he wasn't ready to accept defeat. So, he retorted, "When did this house become yours? You're nothing without me. You're pathetic and useless. You won't survive a day without me."

‎"(Laughs) You're really delusional. I must give it to you; your dreams are wild. You are nothing without me," he went on. "You need my protection, and you know what? I'm done. You're not worth my time. So, I'm leaving." He took a step towards the door but was halted in his tracks.

‎"Wait a minute. I need to clarify some things before you leave. So, first off, I don't need your protection. I'm already a force to be reckoned with. And let me remind you, I saved your sorry ass from the guys who wanted to walk you to the afterlife. And I gave you all you have today. I gave you a name when no one knew you except your little admirers who wanted your head."

‎"So, when you say that I need your protection, I think you got it twisted. You need my protection. And one more thing, those companies you're bragging about have my name on them. So, when you walk out of here, remember who you truly are."

‎Shock was written all over his face, and he was glued to the spot. After a while, he recovered his stance and said with an evil grin, "Yes, you have given me everything I own today, but that doesn't change the fact that you're weak and pathetic, and I can take whatever I want from you." Looking triumphant, he walked out.
