Training Together
**Arin's POV**
I woke up screaming.
The dream was so real I could still taste blood in my mouth and feel fire burning my skin. In the dream, I had watched myself kill everyone I loved, one by one, while something dark and evil laughed inside my head.
"Arin!"
Kael was beside me in seconds, his hands on my shoulders. "It was just a nightmare."
"No," I gasped, trying to catch my breath. "It wasn't a nightmare , It was a vision like an idea of what's possibly going to happen in the future. I saw what happens if I choose wrong."
We were in a safe room deep underground, far from the crack that evil thing was trying to break through. Elder Mava had said we needed time to prepare before I made my choice. But the visions were getting worse every day.
"That's why we need to train," Jaxon said from across the room. "If you can control your powers, maybe you can find a third option."
