Chapter 24 - Chapter 104: Life Is So Wonderful

Just as Bo Saixi was considering using force to take a room at the hotel in front of her, a middle-aged man suddenly appeared at her side, bowed respectfully, and addressed her:

"Greetings, Sea God Douluo."

Bo Saixi narrowed her eyes slightly, giving him a once-over. She vaguely remembered seeing this man earlier in the afternoon. He was a Title Douluo with the martial soul Ghost Leopard. But given their respective strengths, Bo Saixi felt she could easily slap him to death if it came to a fight.

Of course, she didn't consider herself the type to kill recklessly. She gave him a cold glance and asked plainly:

"You came to see me. What for?"

The Ghost Leopard Douluo nodded solemnly and handed her a Soul Master Handbook.

"The Grand Worshipper heard that you arrived in Spirit City without one, fearing it might be inconvenient for you. He sent me to deliver this. Please accept it."

"Oh?" Bo Saixi casually accepted the booklet and skimmed it. It matched her personal details almost perfectly. She gave a slight nod.

"I'll accept this, then. Help me thank Qian Daoliu."

With that, Bo Saixi handed the Soul Master Handbook to the hotel receptionist, who had been staring at her in shock.

The receptionist took it, and upon reading its contents, her expression turned to utter disbelief. This woman, who looked to be in her twenties at most, was actually a Title Douluo? That was simply beyond imagination!

She wanted to question the authenticity, but the man who delivered the handbook was wearing the robes of a Spirit Hall elder, clearly showing his high status.

Even someone of elder rank had shown such deference to this woman — it was obvious that her identity was extremely distinguished.

So the receptionist, who had originally planned to kick Bo Saixi out, instantly broke into a flattering smile and arranged the best suite for her.

Once Bo Saixi had successfully checked in, the Ghost Leopard Douluo turned and left. He returned to Spirit Hall and went straight to the Hall of Offerings to report the situation.

Upon hearing it, Qian Daoliu merely waved his hand to dismiss him. Left alone, Qian Daoliu stood before the statue of the Angel God, lost in sorrow.

He had known long ago that Bo Saixi would never love him. He had given up hope decades ago. But the moment she stepped into Spirit Hall again, his heart wavered.

For a brief, foolish moment, he thought maybe she had realized her true feelings for him.

He felt like an idiot.

He knew full well it was impossible. Bo Saixi had always loved only that old man, Tang Chen.

And if Tang Chen were gone… would that mean he might finally have a chance?

"Sigh…"

Qian Daoliu let out a long sigh, lifting his head to quietly gaze at the Angel God's statue, speechless for a long time.

Meanwhile, from Bibi Dong's room came the soft, affectionate voices of two women:

"Darling, this roasted lamb leg is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. It tastes great. Try it!"

"Sweetheart, this beef is delicious too. Let me feed you a bite."

"This fruit wine is sweet and fragrant. Let me feed you some."

Zhao Ling sat with his arms around the slender waists of Ah Yin and Bibi Dong, his face full of bliss as they took turns feeding him.

He felt life couldn't be more wonderful — with beauties in his arms and lovingly feeding him food.

Thinking back to the 16 years of his life before transmigrating: apart from a carefree childhood before the age of four, he had been stuck in an endless grind.

At five, he started kindergarten and was bombarded with extracurriculars — dance, piano, violin, calligraphy — all the exhausting activities imaginable.

As he grew older, life was reduced to school and home, and if there weren't classes on weekends, there were still training sessions.

After coming to the world of Douluo Dalu, he had to work even harder to survive due to his initially weak strength.

Only after awakening his martial soul and working tirelessly did he finally rise to the rank of Title Douluo — and now, he finally felt he could enjoy life.

He wasn't sure how much wine he had drunk — only that he was very tipsy. Ah Yin and Bibi Dong exchanged a knowing glance and gently helped him toward the bed…

The next morning, Zhao Ling slowly woke from his slumber and tapped his aching head.

"Ow… drank too much yesterday. My head hurts."

As he opened his eyes, he was delighted to find that his long-desired dream of enjoying the company of both women had somehow come true in his drunken state.

Though the details were hazy, the thought made Zhao Ling's lips curl into a satisfied smile as he gently pulled the covers over the two women.

Later in the afternoon, as the sun was dipping low, about 30 degrees above the horizon, Zhao Ling finally got out of bed in high spirits.

Ah Yin and Bibi Dong exchanged helpless glances, both mentally calling their husband a freak.

They had thought that with their combined efforts, they could wear him out and show him the true power of womanhood. But clearly, they had underestimated him.

Now, all they wanted was to rest — no more fantasies about overwhelming him with their combined charm.

Oblivious to their thoughts, Zhao Ling gently patted their heads and said with a smile:

"My dear wives, you must be hungry. I'll go have someone prepare dinner for you."

Bibi Dong glanced at Ah Yin. "Sister Ah Yin, are you hungry? I'm not, at the moment."

Ah Yin shook her head. "Me neither… but hubby, you can have the food prepared. We'll eat it after dark if we get hungry."

"Alright, then I'll take my leave for now." Zhao Ling nodded with a smile and left the room.

The two women breathed a simultaneous sigh of relief — their monstrous husband was finally gone. Otherwise, who knew what more chaos he'd bring?

After leaving the room, Zhao Ling went to arrange dinner for them.

With his current Title Douluo strength, he didn't really need to eat anymore — he could go months without food or water with no problem.

But Ah Yin and Bibi Dong were different — they still needed proper nourishment.

However, just as he stepped out and was on his way to the kitchen, he ran into a stern-faced Qian Xunji.

Zhao Ling immediately straightened up and greeted him respectfully:

"Teacher… What brings you here?"

Qian Xunji glared at him in mild displeasure.

"Zhao Ling, I hope you understand one thing. Yes, you're a Title Douluo now. But Dong'er is still quite weak.

Even so, her talent is second only to yours among everyone I've seen. I hope you give her time to grow, instead of constantly indulging in romance. Understand?"
