Jin Zhi spent the entire day on edge.
He triple-checked her schedule. Organized her files. Brewed her tea exactly 82 degrees Celsius. The whole office buzzed around them, but she never let anyone else near him.
He was like her shadow—obedient, silent, and constantly flushed.
But when lunch break came, Bai Xue didn't leave her office. She didn't eat. She just stared at her screen, typing with sharp precision.
Jin Zhi hesitated outside her door with a bento box he had bought using his own allowance. He knocked lightly.
No answer.
He knocked again, softer this time.
"Come in," she said, voice clipped.
He stepped inside. "Um… you didn't order anything. I thought… maybe you forgot to eat."
She looked up, expression unreadable.
He held out the box with both hands. "I got extra. You can have half."
A pause.
Then: "You made this?"
"No, I bought it. But it's still warm."
She stared at him for a moment. Then, without a word, she stood and walked to the small sofa in the corner of the room. "Bring it here."
Jin Zhi followed like a nervous cat. He sat down beside her, knees together, unsure if he should look at her or not.
She took the box and started eating.
He peeked sideways. Her long white hair shimmered under the office light, and the way she moved—precise, elegant, ruthless—still made his stomach flutter.
Then, without looking at him, she said: "Feed me."
"…What?"
Her eyes slid toward him slowly. "Feed. Me."
Jin Zhi turned so red he thought he might combust. "B—but you're already holding the chopsticks—"
"I gave an order, not a suggestion."
He panicked, snatched the chopsticks from her hand, grabbed a piece of tamagoyaki, and hesitantly held it near her lips.
Bai Xue leaned forward, took the bite without blinking, and licked a speck of egg from her lip.
"Mm. Soft. Like you."
His heart slammed against his chest. He felt dizzy.
Then she leaned closer. "Open your mouth."
"W—what?!"
"I fed from your hand. You feed from mine."
She picked up a piece of grilled fish, held it near his lips. Her gaze never left his face.
Slowly, hesitantly, Jin Zhi opened his mouth.
She fed him. He chewed nervously.
Then she leaned in and said softly, "Good bunny."
He nearly dropped the bento box.
