Half an hour later, Jack and Lillie were pulling up to the Hau'Oli Pokemon Trainer Academy. Hundreds of screaming kids were on the playground enjoying themselves. Jack checked his phone and saw the time. "Looks like it's their lunch," Jack said as he watched Lillie get out of the SUV and grab her bag she'd stuffed Nebby into.
Jack walked with Lillie into the office, he even went as far as holding the door for her. He couldn't help but catch a glimpse of her wobbling tits. Thanks to the bag throwing off her balance, her chest melons jiggled more with each step than usual.
Upon entering the school office, he heard the sounds of sobbing on the other side of the office and he saw two women across from each other, one with their hands folded and a very upset look on her face, while the other had tears streaming down her face. Both appeared to be in the mid 30s age-wise.
"Delia, it's time for you to go. We've been more than patient." The red haired, professional looking woman said. She had glasses on with a black dress, and had quite a sexy librarian look going for her.
"Headmistress Lorelei, please, just give me another week, I'll have the money by then, I promise," the brown haired woman begged. Her pink shirt and purple skirt combo gave her the perfect mom look.
"That's what you've been saying for the past eight months, Delia. Your son shouldn't have been allowed back for this school year with how far behind on tuition you've been," the headmistress said. "There will no longer be a desk for your son in this school."
"But Lorelei, he's doing so well-"
"Out!" The headmistress demanded, extending her arms from their crossed position and pointing to the door. Jack then caught a glimpse of her very impressive chest. Her boobs had to be almost Lillie-sized. His loins began to stir.
"S'cuse me, can I help you?" a feminine voice said, and Jack turned and saw a very pretty young woman behind the counter. She had dark hair, beautiful mocha colored skin, and a rather plain white outfit. He saw a name-tag on her outfit reading "Sina" and he committed it to memory.
"Uh, yeah," Jack said, still paying attention to the scene unfolding to his right between the two women. "Is professor Kukui around? The two of us need to speak with him."
The woman behind the counter grimaced. "Well, he's currently on lunch, and we typically don't do meet and greets without an appointment," Sina said.
He looked at Lillie, and figured he ought to name-drop her so he'd understand the potential importance of what they needed to speak with him about, but then he remembered something.
"Call him, say the son of Arthur Cobal needs to meet with him for a few minutes," Jack said.
The woman eyed him oddly and looked over to the headmistress, who seemed rather pre-occupied.
"Call him, if he doesn't want to see me, I'll leave, no questions asked," Jack explained.
"Er, he's in the teacher's lounge. I'll go ask him," Sina said and scurried away quickly.
Jack then shifted his attention back to the scene with the woman named Delia and the Headmistress. Delia had officially shut down, not responding to anything Lorelei the headmistress said to her.
Jack felt pretty bad for the poor woman, and he approached the situation.
Lorelei eyed him first. "Young man, there's no need to get involved."
"Delia, that's your name right?" he said, ignoring Lorelei.
The woman then looked at him, eyes completely demoralized and dead. She nodded.
"Your son get good grades?" he asked.
Delia nodded. "Straight A's," she said, tears streaming down her face.
"Does he love pokemon?" Jack asked.
"He lives for them," Delia replied.
He then turned to Lorelei. "How much does she owe?"
Lorelei scoffed. "I'm not at liberty to disclose-"
"Ten thousand, five hundred dollars," Delia said.
"And with the rest of this year's tuition?" Jack asked.
"Sixteen thousand," Lorelei said. "Probably a little too much for your blood, young man-"
Jack shook his head and reached in his pocket, grabbing a card. "You have electronic payment?"
Lorelei gasped. "Uh, yeah but-"
"I'll cover it all," Jack said, then turned to Delia. "Just make sure he keeps working hard."
Delia's eyes widened. "Y-you're serious?"
"Yeah," Jack said, handing his card to Lorelei.
"Oh... Oh my goodness..." Delia said, tears of joy streaming out of her eyes once, and she practically jumped on Jack with a hug. "Thank you so much, oh thank you!" Delia cried out, even giving him a peck on the cheek. "I... I don't know how I could ever thank you."
Jack shook his head. "No need to. Consider it the Jack Cobal Family scholarship," he said, giving her a couple pats on the back, the universal sign that a hug was over.
"Oh... okay... Thank you so much!" Delia said. "If there's ever anything I can do..."
Jack shook his head once more. "Really, there's no need. What's his name?"
Delia wiped tears from her face. "Ash... I can't wait to tell him," Delia then saw Lillie and went to give her a hug. Jack turned around for a second as the two made contact, but was interrupted by the headmistress clearing her throat.
Lorelei had returned, wielding his card. "Mr. Cobal..." Lorelei said, looking at him awkwardly. "The school does appreciate it, as little Ash is near the top of his class."
"Great," Jack said. "Sorry about how impromptu this was... I should probably call you next time and set up a more formal scholarship fund."
Lorelei smiled. "Most definitely, but this was very generous of you," Lorelei said. "And I have to admit, I never knew Arthur Cobal had a son."
Jack's smile died. "You're not alone."
"Well, let me get my card so we can set a formal meeting, we'd love to have you be a part of our community here at the academy." Lorelei said, walking back to her office much more elegantly.
Jack turned to Lillie who was still mid-hug with a joyfully sobbing Delia. Lillie gave him an approving smile. Then the door burst open and a brown skinned, very athletic man charged into the room wearing a lab coat and shorts, exposing his chiseled abs.
"Mr. Cobal?" The man practically yelled, scanning the room quickly before making eye contact with Jack, who had raised his hand.
"Professor Kukui?"
"That's me!" The exuberant man said as he marched to Jack with his hand extended, giving him a firm hand hand shake. "It's an honor and a pleasure-" Kukui paused, unaware of the name.
"Jack," Jack said.
"Jack Cobal, got it," Kukui then turned to Lillie and his eyes damn near jumped out of his face. "Lillie?"
Lillie blushed. "Hello professor," she said.
"My goodness it's been a while." Kukui said, suddenly looking very uncomfortable. "Little Lillie and Arthur Cobal's son, I never thought I'd see a couple like this."
Jack held his hand out and shook his hand. "We're not-"
"Oh my, apologies," Kukui said. "So uh... what can I do for you?"
"Is there a room we could talk in private?" Jack asked.
Kukui nodded. "Yeah, follow me," he said, swinging the little waist high door blocking people from going behind the front office counter.
Jack made eye contact with Sina, who now was practically gawking. Then Lorelei re-appeared with her business card. "Give me a call when you can, Mr. Cobal," she said.
Jack nodded. "Will do."
"And you are?" Lorelei asked Lillie.
"I'm Lillie." She said, the two shook hands, and Jack watched as Lorelei went into a momentary daze upon making contact with Lillie.
Sina then approached him with a big grin. "That's so kind, what you did."
Jack smiled a bit uneasily, unsure of how to respond. He swear he heard her take a sniff.
"Good guy here," Sina said, pointing at him but turning her attention behind him.
Jack turned and noticed Lillie was right behind him. "Yeah," she said.
"I'm Sina," she said, extending her hand to Lillie. Lillie shook it, saying her name as well. The sudden contact sent a jolt of energy through Sina as her back stiffened and her eyes drifted to Jack, getting bigger.
"Are you a teacher here?" Lillie asked.
Sina turned back to Lillie. "No no just a.... secretary," Sina said, then winked at Jack. "Anytime you call here, I'll be picking...up," She said with a mischievous grin.
"Mr. Cobal, professor Kukui is probably waiting for you," Lorelei's voice broke the increasingly odd situation.
When they caught up to Kukui, he was opening up a door into an office. Jack came in and shut it quickly.
"First off professor, I just want to say thank you for meeting with us. It's out of nowhere, but we could use your expertise," Jack said.
Kukui's smile faded as he eyed Lillie, not with lust, but with curiosity. "And Ms. Lusamine can't be of any help?" he asked.
Lillie shook her head. "It... involves her," Lillie said, then unzipped her large bag, and out came the purplish form of Nebby, giving a celebratory cry of being freed from its confines.
Kukui gasped as he saw the little creature. "This... this is Cosmog," He said. "I've only read about this in legends..."
"Legends?" Jack asked.
"What the academic community for Alolan history considers legends," he said, shaking his head. "Some of them are too fantastical to be considered true," Kukui stared at Nebby intensely, making the little creature uncomfortable. "How did you come to possess it?" Kukui asked.
Lillie grimaced and looked to the floor. "The Aether Foundation captured it, and have been performing experiments on it," Lillie said.
Jack tried not to react too much, but he remembered her mentioning some bad "tests" on the little creature.
Kukui shook his head. "Not good... I thought Miss Lusmaine and the Foundation were above that."
Lillie sighed deeply, causing her massive mammaries to move with her air inhale and exhale. "My mother was, but... Things changed one day. Two very strange people appeared at Aether, and... mom became different." Lillie said, her voice growing sadder as she explained.
"Strange people?" Kukui said. "Strange how?"
Lilie pondered on how to describe things. "They were clothed weirdly... They had some odd head-gear, they spoke very properly, they wore these white jumpsuits like they were dealing with dangerous chemicals-"
"Wait, Phyco and Soliera?" Jack asked, interrupting.
Lillie turned to him with surprise in her eyes. "Y-yes. how did you know?"
"I met them," Jack said, remembering how odd things had been, him and Lusamine kissing in the elevator, and decided he ought to leave that part out. "Yesterday."
"You went to Aether?" Lillie asked.
Jack shook his head. "No I... met them at the Heart of the Sea Hotel," he said.
Lillie gave him a very strange look. "They almost never leave the island."
Jack realized he'd have to tell Lillie that he'd met her mom a few hours before he encountered her and Nebby yesterday, but figured now wasn't the time. "I'll explain later. But I had a weird hand-shake with the Phyco guy..."
"Oh." Lillie said.
"Anyways, getting back to things," Kukui interjected.
"Oh yes, so these two very strange people showed up at Aether a few months ago," Lillie explained. "...And then things started to change. My mother and Mr. Faba became obsessed with Ultra Wormholes, they'd spend hours with the two strangers in the top secret labs," Lillie thought back, showing some hardship on her face. "And then one day a couple months back, Nebby showed up on the island. I heard Faba mention the Ultra Recon Squad-"
"The what?" Kukui asked.
"Oh, Phyco and Soliera, Aether calls them the Ultra Recon Squad, or U.R.S. for short," Lillie explained. "Faba said the U.R.S. helped track down Nebby on Ula'Ula Island..."
"Ula'Ula'?" Kukui said, going deep into thought. "Did they say where?"
"Something about a lake." Lillie said.
A light bulb went off in Kukui's head. "The Lake of the Moone," he said, then realized Lillie had stopped talking. "Please continue."
"And then they began observing Nebby. I started to play with it, and mother would let me go to it's holding area. We become fast friends, Nebby and I," Lillie said, looking down at the multi-colored puff-ball. "Neither of us had any friends there, mother was obsessed with her research into Ultra Wormholes," Lillie then looked down, tears welling up in her eyes.
"It's okay Lillie, you don't have to go too deep into things," Jack said, trying to be comforting.
Lillie shook her head. "And then yesterday mother was gone, she went to Melemele for some reason. And I heard Mr. Faba say they'd be doing some much higher intense testing today on Nebby, so... I decided to take Nebby out for a little stroll, just to hide it from Faba for the day."
"Was that not allowed?" Kukui asked.
Lillie nodded. "Not at all. Nebby hadn't been able to see the sun since it came to the island, things had become so different... And then Mr. Faba raised the alarm that Nebby had escaped. Then all the employees started chasing me, and I couldn't run very fast because," Lillie then pointed at her enormous knockers. "We got cornered, and Faba was very upset with me, and then... Nebby began to glow really bright and before I knew what was going on we... We were in the wilderness on Melemele Island. We ended up being lost for hours and then..." Lillie turned to Jack. "...Nebby found a road, and Jack here stopped to help us."
Kukui then looked at Jack. "Well, you have my thanks. Lillie and her family are good friends of mine. And that's not even including the enormous grant your father gave to me that started my career as a true pokemon professor," Kukui said, giving Jack a fist bump.
"Think nothing of it. She needed help, I could do it..." Jack's voice trailed off. Suddenly his phone's text tone went off in his pocket. "Sorry about that," Jack said, putting his phone on silent, and only seeing he had a text from Hilda. "So, Cosmog..."
"Cosmog," Kukui said with a nod, watching the little creature. "Well, this pokemon shows up in legends, it's said to have very mysterious powers..." Kukui said. "...Mostly related to Ultra Wormholes."
"Ultra Wormholes?" Jack asked, remembering the topic had been brought up earlier and he had no idea what it meant.
"They're hard to explain, but the short version is basically they're a phenomena that mostly occurs around the Alola region, and according to the stories, sometimes very strange, otherworldly beasts come out of these wormholes," Kukui explained. "This is all highly unverified stuff. I've never seen one, but enough people have said they've seen them, and there's enough stories about them and..." His eyes rested on Nebby. "...This thing's existence legitimizes a lot of Alolan legends and myths," Kukui then paused and looked at Jack. "How much security do you have?"
Jack smiled nervously. "Not much... But no one knows I'm here, or that Nebby is with us," he said. He felt his phone vibrate a couple more times, but didn't acknowledge it.
"You're going to have to beef it up. Something like this... If the wrong people find out where it is, they could come hunting after it," Kukui said. "And if the Aether Foundation has changed like you've said they have, they may even try to pull something."
Jack nodded. "Yeah, makes sense,"
Lillie looked at Nebby and gave it a squeeze.
"Lillie, did Hilda tell you anything about who's coming over to meet with us tonight?" Jack asked.
"Well, she mentioned it," Lillie replied.
"The International Police," he said, then looked at Kukui. "It's supposed to be on the down low."
Kukui nodded sternly. Lillie then sighed. "About Nebby?"
"More about Aether actually, but Nebby will probably be involved," Jack said. "You think it's a good idea we cooperate with them?" Jack asked Kukui.
Kukui nodded. "Definitely. They might be able to hook you up with a good security detail or something."
"That sounds like a good idea," Jack said, and his phone began vibrating once more, this time a call. He took his phone out from his pocket and saw Hilda calling him. "Fuck, I'm sorry, I think I need to take this," Jack said as he opened the door and walked out of the office. He accepted the call and began to speak. "I'm talking to Kukui, make it quick."
"What the FUCK. Have. You. Done?" Hilda demanded back.
"What?"
"You, did something really stupid!" Hilda was practically yelling into the phone.
"What, no, I'm just at the school-"
"You paid for a student's tuition! It's going viral online!" Hilda said.
"Oh, oh fuck..." Jack said, realizing he'd probably been throwing his name around a bit too much in the front office.
"Some chick named Delia posted about you paying for her son's tuition-"
"That happened like ten minutes ago," Jack replied.
"Well she tagged Cobal Financial in her social media post and said you by name. Now the whole world knows you're in Alola. It's gotten over 3,000 likes in five minutes."
"Fuck," Jack said, realizing the Cosmog situation was going to be even weirder. "Is Lillie tagged in it at all?"
"What? No... Why would she be?" Hilda said.
Jack shook his head instinctively, not thinking about the fact he was talking to Hilda over the phone. "Nothing, really. I swear," Jack said.
"Okay, well when you get home you're in deep shit," Hilda said.
"Yeah... I know," he replied, hanging up the phone. He looked up at the ceiling and whispered "Fuuuuuck."
"Something wrong?" A familiar female voice said.
He turned his attention and saw the front office receptionist from earlier, Sina. "Yeah," he said shaking his head. "Cat's out of the bag. That Delia woman isn't still around, is she?"
"She left a little bit ago," Sina said, then walked over close to him whispered. "That's a generous thing you did," she started but Jack interrupted her in frustration.
"Well now I'm getting punished for it," Jack said drearily. "She posted about it online, now the whole world is gonna know I'm here."
Sina grimaced. "Oh..." Sina paused. "Anything I can uh... do?" Sina said, desire in her eyes, she was biting her lower lip.
Jack's member had shot back to life, but his mind was focused on other things. He took a deep breath. "This whole being rich thing, I'm very new to it."
"I can tell," Sina said with a grin then hugged him. "Fuck you smell good," Sina paused, then brought her lips to his ear. "How about we go to the bathroom and I make you forget what just happened?"
A pause lingered for a few seconds, Sina even tried to dry-hump him for a moment. The office door opened and Lillie walked out, followed by Kukui. Sina unlocked from him, looking a bit flustered.
"Oh Sina, getting acquainted with the big donor I see," Kukui teased.
Wha- no," Sina protested. "I just wanted to thank him for earlier."
"Suuuure," Kukui said with an ear to ear grin.
The lunch bell rang loudly, and Kukui grunted. "Crap. Hey, Jack, mind if I get your number?"
"Oh yeah, duh," Jack said, whipping out his phone and getting Kukui's number. "I really appreciate your help today."
Kukui shook his head. "It's nothing, I'm glad to help. Tonight I'm going to do some research on that topic-" Kukui motioned with his head to Lillie and her bag.
"Great," Jack said. "It'll be really appreciated."
"And I'll have to get you over to my lab sometime," Kukui said.
"Most definitely," Jack said. Then Kukui walked over to him and gave him a hug, which Jack wasn't quite ready for but accepted anyways.
Kukui then whispered. "Something's strange about Lillie."
"What?"
"Her boobs, they weren't like that a six months ago. Same with her mom. Just something to keep in mind," Kukui then released the hug and fist bumped with him. "Give me a call sometime."
Jack nodded. "Yeah, yeah definitely," he then saw Lillie getting nervous and holding her bag awkwardly. Nebby might've made too loud a sound, and he realized it was time to go. The two began making their way to the front of the office, and Sina followed. He saw Lorelei coming out of her office.
"Have a good day Mr. Cobal, and thanks for stopping by!" She called out to him.
"Thanks for having me!" He called back as he held the door for Lillie.
The two made their way to the SUV, but he heard the door swing open and rapid footsteps behind him.
"Jack!" Sina's voice called out as she ran to him and Lillie. "You forgot something."
Jack checked his pockets and realized he still had everything, then he saw Sina was carrying something in her hand. She gave it to him and winked, then turned around, exaggerating her hips swinging as she walked back to the office slowly. He unfolded the paper and saw a phone number and a little message "In case you want some extra fun."
Jack smiled. "Thanks!"
Sina turned around for a moment and gave him a very exaggerated wave, then turned back around.
"What was that about?" Lillie asked.
Jack shook his head and turned to the SUV. "Her phone number," he said in a hushed voice.
Lillie gasped. "She just..."
"Yup," Jack shrugged then unlocked the car and hopped in the front seat, feeling like he really didn't want to go home just yet, and his stomach rumbled, reminding him he'd only had a protein bar today and lunchtime was nearly over. "Lillie, wanna grab a bite to eat?"
"Sure," Lillie said.
"There's a place I want to try again," Jack said, thinking of The Heart of the Sea, and the hot, red-headed waitress that might be working. Jack put the car in drive and pulled out of the parking lot.
"Jack..." Lillie began, a bit hesitantly. "...was that phone call important?"
Jack sighed. "Yeah. I don't want to talk about it though," he said.
"Oh, okay," Lillie said, then opened her bag, freeing Nebby.
"Oh, so Lillie, I think I have to mention something to you..."
"What?" Lillie said.
"I got to Alola yesterday, and the first thing I ended up doing was having lunch with your mother."
Lillie gasped. "R-really?"
"Yeah," Jack said, treading lightly. He didn't want go in detail about what happened afterwards. "She seemed very pleasant actually. But most people are if they think they can get donations from me in the future."
Lillie nodded. "That must be so weird, everyone being too nice to you."
"It's still new to me," he replied. "I'm sure it will annoy me eventually."
"Lunch? So a few hours after you left her, you found me?" Lillie asked.
Jack shrugged. "Yeah... Small world."
