Chapter 6 - Big Harvest

[Name: Minotaur King's Bright Silver Armorplate (Unbound)]

[Type: Light Armor]

[Attributes: Strength increases by 12 points, Spirit Power increases by 10 points]

Bhavin Agnihotri looked slightly disappointed as he sighed while gazing at the equipment.

"Light armor... What a shame, it's not suitable for me."

In this world, equipment is divided into five types: Cloth Armor, Leather Armor, Plate Armor, Light Armor, and Heavy Armor.

Magic professions generally use Cloth Armor or Leather Armor, while those skilled in both magic, magic and martial arts usually use Plate Armor, and Physical Professions mostly use Light Armor and Heavy Armor.

Bhavin Agnihotri's Mechanic profession is actually a type of magic profession, so he can only use Leather Armor, or Plate Armor.

Of course, using other types of equipment isn't entirely impossible. But if it doesn't suit your profession, not only will the attributes be incorrectly allocated, but you'll also lose the defensive power bonus from armor mastery.

Forcing yourself to use it is not worth the loss, so few professionals would do that.

Accessory-type equipment, however, is universal for all professions, as long as the attributes fit.

Equipment levels range from the lowest to highest: very common White Equipment, common Green Equipment, uncommon Blue Equipment, rare Level Black Equipment, very rare Level Purple Equipment, epic Orange Equipment, and the legendary Golden Equipment.

White Equipment is found everywhere and can be bought for just a few silver coins. Common Green Equipment has a high chance of dropping from both small monsters in the wild and regular monsters within instances and can be sold at an auction for at least one Gold Coin.

At the Blue Equipment level, only Vert Monsters drop them, with instance bosses guaranteed to drop them, instantly making their auction price rise to tens of Gold Coins.

As for Rare Level Black Equipment, only bosses can drop them, and even then, the chance is low, just a 10% drop rate.

If you want to buy a piece of Black Equipment from the auction house, it'll cost at least a few hundred Gold Coins. Ordinary professionals have to save for a long time to get one, which is why it's called Rare Level!

Although Bhavin Agnihotri can't use this Black Equipment, he can sell it at the auction house! This item alone means a few hundred Gold Coins in earnings!

As for Very rare Level Black Equipment, although all instance bosses and Vert Monsters might drop them, the chance is just too low. With a 1% drop rate, only those extraordinarily lucky could obtain it.

But if one really drops, you'd hit it big jackpot as it's worth at least a few thousand Gold Coins.

If you're fortunate enough to encounter a Very rare equipment with superb attributes, that would be a priceless treasure!

Besides this armor, the Minotaur King, as the boss, also dropped a piece of Blue Equipment, the Minotaur King's Leather Belt.

Just right, Bhavin Agnihotri could use this, so he decisively equipped it, increasing his Spirit Power by 11 points.

Now, all the monsters in the Forest of Gelt were cleared by Bhavin Agnihotri.

Earlier, he was busy farming monsters and didn't pick up anything. Now excitedly storing the Black Equipment, Bhavin Agnihotri began heading back, sweeping up other loot along the way.

The two Vert Minotaurs contributed two pieces of Blue Equipment to Bhavin Agnihotri, while the other regular Minotaurs dropped around twenty pieces of Green Equipment.

Aside from that, there were Minotaur teeth, leather, as well as Refined Iron Fragments and all sorts of miscellaneous instance materials.

These materials might be of some use to ordinary Mechanics, as they provide plans and weapons require self-gathered materials to craft.

But they were useless to Bhavin Agnihotri, so he could sell them all for Gold Coins. Bhavin Agnihotri estimated that, even excluding that piece of Black Equipment, simply selling these items at an auction house could sell this about 200 Gold Coins!

And the entrance ticket to the Forest of Gelt costs only 50 Gold Coins. In other words, someone like Bhavin Agnihotri, soloing, not only can he crazily farm experience, he can also make a hefty profit!

Thinking of this, Bhavin Agnihotri couldn't waste any time, and immediately activated the Teleportation Stone. Three seconds later, his figure reappeared in the instance hall.

Then, Bhavin Agnihotri walked outside with an excited expression.

Target, Auction House!

The staff member, seeing Bhavin Agnihotri's expression, was stunned at first, then instinctively glanced at the clock beside him.

"How did this guy get out so fast? Judging from his look, could he get any equipments?"

"Did he get a Blue Equipment or something?"

"No, that's impossible. Summoning the first Vert Minotaur in the Forest of Gelt requires killing more than ten regular Minotaurs. How could he, a newly turned Mechanic, kill more than ten Minotaurs in ten minutes?"

The staff member shook his head amusingly. But at that moment, a new message suddenly appeared on the display panel above the Forest of Gelt teleportation entrance.

"Dark Forest Fastest Completion Record: 23 minutes 12 seconds!"

"Completer: Bhavin Agnihotri."

The staff member was stunned, standing up instantly. There was a clatter as the chair behind him fell to the ground.

He rubbed his eyes vigorously and looked again in disbelief.

"What the!" he exclaimed in shock.

He thought in his mind, the previous fastest completion record was an hour, and that was with four people teaming up!

Bhavin Agnihotri was alone, and he's a newly turned Mechanic, how did he complete it in less than half an hour! Could all the Minotaurs in the instance collectively have sacrificed themselves!

The staff member quickly shook his head and pushed aside such a ridiculous idea. Those Minotaurs might be reckless, but they're not brain-dead, why would they all sacrifice themselves...

What the staff member didn't know was that it actually took Bhavin Agnihotri just ten minutes to clear this instance, and as for the remaining time, it was all he spent collecting materials on his way back.
