Chapter 3 - Liam is here.

Unedited

Jasmine's eyes slowly flutter open. She looked around the room. The smell of antiseptic hung lightly on the air. She's was on one of the beds, a bandage placed on her nose.

Slowly, she swept her gaze across the room. There was a curtain pulled together in front of her. She touched her nose feeling the slightly rough bandage under her finger.

This was her school clinic. She had visited numerously in her past life because she was always victim of bullies who inflicted injuries on her.

The room is divided by white curtain creating makeshift cubicles. Jasmine's curtain were pulled apart, giving her a view of the room. The faint smell of antiseptic hung on the air.

She moved her gave to the paintings on the wall, and posters about hygiene. She grabbed a handful of her bedsheets, her eyes moving from side to side in its bucket.

"Why am I here again?" She couldn't understand. She should be dead.

A calendar on one side of the wall caught her attention.

Jasmine stood, dragging her legs across the room to the calendar, she stopped in front of it. Standing on her tiptoes and traced the big circle in the middle.

The number within the circle was 18. She looked to the side, the month, April.

April? Shs flipped the calendar taking it down from the places it was hanged.

April 18th, 20015. She has been reborn ten years past. She was just fifteen at this age.

One of the curtains pulled apart loosely, Jasmine who had not expected it let go of the calender.

A boy stepped out, blonde hair with green eyes.

Jasmine turned her head to the side, she doesn't recognise him. His hands were moving on the botton on his shirt. He stopped briefly when their eyes met.

Was he a new student? She cracked her memory, but she didn't remember seeing him around.

He stared at her for a second. She sucked in her breath, shrinking under his intense gaze. When he finally moved his eyes away from her and drag himself out of the room, Jasmine lets out a breath she had not realise she was holding.

She picked the calender and walked back to her bed. She truly has gone back in time. A nurse stepped into the room with a tray on her hand.

"Thank Goodness it wasn't that serious." She said examining Jasmine's nose. Tears welled up in Jasmine's eyes as she watched Mrs. Morgan. She was the only teacher who loved her and took care of her.

Jasmine remember that Mrs. Morgan had lost her legs to an accident that almost claimed her life, seeing her strong and healthy, Jasmine couldn't stop the tears that rolled off her eyes.

"Are you okay? Does it hurt too much?" Mrs. Morgan looked worried, 'it shouldn't hurt too much." she spoke again.

Jasmine just shook her head.

"I'm fine." Mrs. Morgan looked relieved when Jasmine smiled and wiped the tears off her eyes.

Jasmine left the clinic with a bandage on her nose. She closed her eyes as the glow from the sun hit her face.

Jasmine felt her stomach twist as she looked around, rooted to the floor she was in.

Taking the first step, she noticed how everything was the same, the grand building, standing tall and proud.

Love Bernard High school is the most prestigious school in the city, only exceptional and wealthy students gets admitted. She stood in front of the marble crest, her eyes trailing the words written on it, "excellencs and virtue."

What wasn't mentioned on the crest was that wealth and status ruled in the place. Aside from the exceptionally intelligent students who fit admitted the only way a person can be admin with is through wealth.

There classs were divided into four.

The Elites. For the wealthy and exceptionally intelligent once.

The Diamonds, the wealthy whose parents has high status. Here the intellectual capacity was not of importance.

The Golden. What mattered in this category was intelligent. Status aren't important.

The Bronze, here, there is a mix. The lowest ranks mostly for outcasts and this was the class Jasmin was in.

Her parents were wealthy, but as an illegitimate daughter, she dared not associate herself with them. Only a handful of people knew about her true identity in the school.

She had also shrinked herself, not showing off her intellectual capacity, so she didn't fall into any of the three categories, but fit perfectly into the last category, an outcast.

The bell sounded across the school, evidence that another period was over. There were two classes left. Students spilled into the field.

She remembered attending the classes and being sent out. Jasmine spent the next minutes walking around and trying to see if there would be any difference but there wasn't.

She ended up returning to the field.

She walked by the side, and the sat on one of the benches for a while, planning her next move as she watched the boys on the field playing football.

Jasmine bite on her fingers. She was seated far away from other students, so she had the chance to think without getting interrupted by others.

There was no way to reverse this, maybe this was a chance to correct her life. So far things had been going as it was in her past life.

If it continues like this, then she would meet Liam and they would fall in love and he would die. Dread seeped into her skin as she thought of this. She shook her head, no, that can't be. She can't allow that.

She stood abruptly.

Just then, her eyes caught sight of a familiar figure on the field.

Liam!

Her Liam is here. Her will to live is here.

"Liam!!" She yelled loudly from where she stood. For a moment it felt as though there was a pause.

Everyone turned to her. But Jasmine didn't mind. A cocktail of emotions sla

mmed her, tears gathered in her eyes and in the next moment she was running towards him.
