Aurelia
The drive to the villa was filled with silence, the wicked scent that Elian exuded clouding me. His head rested against my thigh as he slept, the worry I scented on him before fading into calm. The scent of the forest greeted me as we pulled up, the pack unaware of his presence yet. Cellaria growled, sensing the presence of other alphas. "Mine" she howled in my mind.
The sun hung low, painting the forest in hues of orange and gold, as we pulled up to the grand gates of the villa. Cellaria's growls juxtaposed with the silent elegance of the mansion. Elian, still drowsy, looked at me with worried eyes. "Don't worry" I reassured him, guiding him out of the car. "They will take one whiff of you and they'll know who you belong to."
We entered the grand hall, the scent of pack members milling about, their conversations filling the room. I took Elian's hand tightly, leading him in, each step echoing my confidence. As we passed, conversations hushed, eyes riveted on my omega, nostrils flaring taking in his scent. I smirked, sensing their hunger for mine, their recognition of whom Elian belonged to.
Raina was the first to approach. Her eyes glowed with a soft welcome as she focused on my omega. She bowed respectfully towards Elian, "Greetings omega. I am Raina, the second strongest beta in the pack." She offered a warm smile, her scent holding no animosity. "I am happy that our alpha has found someone who belongs toher."
Elian turned towards Raina, his eyes widen with unease. "It's nice... nice to meet you, Raina" he stuttered, bowing slightly, the scent of nerves radiating from him. I could feel Raina's eyes scanning my omega, her scent approving. She turned to me and bowed deeply. "Our alpha has found the key to unlock her true strength." Raina eyed him again, a soft smile playing on her lips. "Your scent... it's intoxicating."
Tristan, an alpha, strode towards us, his scent fucking potent, and I felt Elian stiffen beside me. "Elian" he acknowledged coolly, nodding curtly. His gaze shifted between me and Elian, a flash of gold in a sea of blue, betraying his jealousy. Elian's fingers twitched, his apprehension palpable, and Cellaria growled, warning Tristan to keep his distance. Tristan snickered, "A shiny new toy."
I grabbed Tristan by the throat, my grip firm, my canines elongating. Cellaria snarled, her anger boiling to the surface. "Touch him again, Tristan" I hissed, "And I'll destroy you." Tristan's eyes widened with realization. He held my gaze, a sly smirk on his lips. "He's every alpha's dream, Aurelia. Can you blame us?" My fingers tightened, Cellaria clawing, snapping.
My grip on Tristan's throat tightened, Cellaria's growl echoing through the hall. "He's mine" I snarled, my gaze locked with his. "Stay away from him." I released him, my eyes never leaving his. Tristan stumbled back, his scent filling with regret. I turned to Elian, my hand finding his. "Come" I whispered, leading him deeper into the pack.
Elian's fingers interlaced with mine, his pulse racing under my touch. As we moved through the pack, scent-marked alphas and betas bowed, a mixture of deference and curiosity in their gazes. I could smell their scents, a blend of envy, curiosity, and arousal. They sniffed the air, drunk on Elian's scent. Cellaria snarled, daring anyone to approach too closely.
I led Elian to my private chambers within the villa. The scent here belonged only to me, my influence subtly present in every corner. I turned to him, my gaze fixed on his. "Consider this your home now, mine." Elian peered around, his eyes rounding the opulent space. He trailed his fingers on the polished furniture, lingering at the magnificent paintings adorning the walls.
"I thought I was going to stay in your penthouse?" Elian turned towards me, his eyes narrowing, the question laced with confusion. "I need you here, now, where I can keep you safe, where I can protect you from other alphas" I replied, my hand tracing the curve of his cheek. "Your scent... it's intoxicating. I can't have others contaminating it or worse, trying to mark you as theirs."
"What if someone tries to get close to me while you're gone?" Elian's eyes flicked towards me, a hint of fear in their depths. "I'm scared, Aurelia." I took his hand, squeezing it reassuringly. "I can't be with you all the time, my omega, but rest assured, no one will hurt you in my territory." I leaned in, capturing his lips in a deep, passionate kiss. "My scent will keep them at bay."
I pulled back from the kiss, breathless. "Raina will watch over you" I declared, my voice laden with authority. I called out, "Raina!" A moment later, the second strongest beta of my pack entered the room, bowing deeply. "Yes, alpha" she nodded, her gaze flicking briefly to Elian, her scent laced with curiosity and excitement. "Tend to my omega while I'm gone" I commanded, my voice brooking no argument.
Raina approached, her steps silent, like a shadow. She bowed to me, then to Elian, her eyes never leaving his. "I'll watch over him, Alpha" she promised, her voice steady. I turned to my omega, my dominance strong, my voice firm. "Obey her commands, Elian. She is under my authority, mine." I turned to the door, Cellaria's growl echoing my dominance. "Stay safe, my omega" I whispered, softly.
