"Infinite growth?"
What truly surprised Jack was the [Infinite Growth] trait unlocked after advancing [Giant Size]. This ability allowed him to break through his previous limits and continue growing indefinitely.
A body length of 30 meters and a weight of 500 tons was just the beginning.
Jack might even rival the legendary Titan-class monsters in the future, reaching lengths of hundreds of meters and weights of tens of thousands of tons!
After allocating points to enhance the Brachiosaurus gene, Jack turned his focus to upgrading the Pterosaur gene.
[Pterosaur Gene: Dragon Wing Flight Lv1 → Lv2 Wing strength doubled. Flight speed increased to 200 km/h.]
[Pterosaur Gene: Dragon Wing Flight Lv2 → Lv3 Wing strength tripled. Flight speed increased to 300 km/h.]
He spent all his gene points to boost [Dragon Wing Flight] to level 3 in one go.
The effects were immediate and intense. His wings felt like they were on fire, the sensation burning through him.
Heat surged through every layer of his wings—bones, muscles, skin, blood vessels, fibers, and membranes—strengthening dramatically.
His control over flight improved drastically, taking a massive leap in speed and agility.
"Crash—!!"
In the next moment, Jack flapped his wings—now spanning over a hundred meters—and, with a powerful push from his hind legs, launched himself into the sky.
He shot upward like a rocket, the takeoff stirring up a violent storm on the rooftop, blasting sand and rubble into the air.
Soaring above Isla Nublar, he patrolled the entire island from the sky.
Wherever he passed, a shockwave followed in his wake.
The wind pressure was so immense that thousands of dinosaurs across the island dropped to the ground, trembling in submission before their true king.
In the past few days, Jack had also unlocked two new genetic abilities:
[Pachycephalosaurus Gene: Thick Skull Lv1 (0/10)]
[Parasaurolophus Gene: Sonic Emission Lv1 (0/10)]
First was the Thick Skull trait from the Pachycephalosaurus gene.
The Pachycephalosaurs were known for their iconic domed skulls, which could be up to 25 centimeters thick, shaped like massive, bony battering rams.
After Jack integrated the Pachycephalosaurus genes, the bones in his skull became thicker and more durable.
The overall strength and hardness of his skull increased significantly.
The second new ability came from the Parasaurolophus gene: Sonic Emission.
Parasaurolophus is known for the crest extending from its head, which functions like a natural sound emitter.
It can adjust sound frequencies and pitches by manipulating the muscles and bones within the crest.
These dinosaurs could transmit low-frequency waves to communicate or release high-frequency ones to intimidate or disorient predators.
After Jack fused with the Parasaurolophus gene, he didn't grow a crest, but he did gain the ability to emit and control sound waves at will.
This allowed him to communicate with virtually any creature, free from barriers.
Its potential was vast—Jack could now receive and transmit sound waves, perform sonar-like detection, and even weaponize his voice as a focused sonic blast.
"Open my data panel."
[Name]: Jack
[Age]: 10 months
[Species]: Indominus Rex (Male)
[Life Level]: Exotic
[Physical Stats]: Length – 30 meters | Height – 15 meters | Weight – 500 tons
[Fused Genes]: Ankylosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Pterosaur, Pachycephalosaurus, Parasaurolophus....
[Genetic Abilities]: Steel Armor Lv1, Infinite Growth Lv1, Dragon Wing Flight Lv3, Thick Skull Lv1, Sonic Emission Lv1...
[Gene Points Remaining]: 5
"There still aren't enough gene points… Not nearly enough," Jack muttered as he soared across the skies.
Clearly, he needed to leave Isla Nublar and hunt beyond its borders to find stronger prey and earn more gene points.
And there was another issue. Despite all this, his life level remained at the Exotic Beast stage.
How do you think I could break through to the next tier? What even came next? Jack had no idea.
But before exploring those answers, there was still one last threat on the island to eliminate.
Little Mosasaur, it's time you met your king.
---------------
Jurassic World – Central Lagoon
This was the aquatic zone where the Mosasaur was kept in captivity.
Once one of the park's most popular attractions, visitors used to sit in stadium-style seating around the lagoon to watch the giant marine reptile devour its meals.
But over the past few days, the Mosasaur had grown increasingly agitated.
It hadn't been fed in days, and its gnawing hunger had turned it restless and aggressive.
This was all part of Jack's plan. By starving the Mosasaur, he had gradually weakened it, making it more vulnerable in a fight.
Now, with one side growing stronger and the other growing weaker, the moment had come.
It was time to bring the Mosasaur to heel.
Jack flew swiftly through the skies and soon reached the lagoon.
From above, the water's surface looked calm—but beneath it, powerful undercurrents churned restlessly.
"Crash—!!"
In the next second, the surface of the water suddenly exploded—like a depth charge had detonated beneath it.
Amidst the spray, a massive, bloody mouth lunged upward at Jack, snapping at him mid-air.
Rows of sharp, conical teeth—hundreds of them—gleamed menacingly, their eerie symmetry adding to the terror of the strike.
Only when its massive body burst fully from the water did its true form come into view.
It was a Mosasaur—over 30 meters long.
Its body was thick and torpedo-shaped, built for speed in water.
Its limbs had evolved into powerful flippers, and its wide, flat tail fin helped it glide through the depths with terrifying efficiency.
Its entire form was sculpted by hydrodynamics.
"You're the one I've been waiting for!"
The beast had taken the bait.
With fearless precision, Jack thrust out his massive, sickle-shaped claws and clamped down on the Mosasaur's gaping jaws—one claw gripping the upper, the other locking the lower.
The Mosasaur hadn't expected such a brazen counterattack.
It thrashed violently, trying to snap its jaws shut, but Jack's strength was overwhelming.
Not only could it not bite down—it couldn't even move.
"Let's go ashore!"
Jack's colossal wings spread wide.
With a powerful beat, he lifted his massive body—and the Mosasaur's nearly 200-ton weight—straight into the air.
"Boom! Bang! Bang..."
As the Mosasaur rose from the water, it began to panic.
It twisted and writhed desperately, like a fish gasping for air.
Its fin-like limbs and broad, paddle-shaped tail thrashed wildly, sending waves crashing across the lagoon.
But against Jack—who now dwarfed it in both size and power—it was like an ant struggling against a mountain. It had no chance of escape.
"Boom!!"
With a mighty roar, Jack hurled the Mosasaur into the air—then swung it and slammed it down onto the shore.
If the battle had remained in the water, Jack might have faced real danger.
Even with the size advantage, his unfamiliarity with aquatic combat would have put him at a disadvantage.
But in the air—or on land—the Mosasaur was helpless.
Exploiting strengths, avoiding weaknesses, feinting, and striking where the enemy is most vulnerable—that was Jack's way.
Not reckless brawling, but tactical domination.
