Chapter 15 - Chapter 15: Angel God Qian Hanyu

Blue Silver Forest

"Your Majesty, you have already passed the hundred-thousand-year heavenly tribulation, and the two-hundred-thousand-year tribulation is still far away. Why have you chosen this moment to transform and start cultivation anew?" asked the Blue Silver King in confusion.

A Yin (the Blue Silver Emperor) obviously couldn't say, I suddenly wanted to experience the mortal world's prosperity, to live a beautiful love story, to transform and go find someone to deliver a thousand miles of loyalty — that would be tantamount to abandoning her own people as their sovereign. With a serious expression, she said, "I transformed into human form to explore the future path of the Blue Silver Emperor clan. A mysterious voice told me that if I forsake my soul beast form and cultivate as a human, in a few decades the Blue Silver Emperor clan will give birth to a god."

"But there are many powerful beings in the human world. What if you encounter a titled Douluo from the human world who covets your soul rings and soul bones? What will you do then?" the Blue Silver King asked with concern.

"No problem. I will simply cultivate in a remote place," A Yin explained her plan.

After convincing her people, the transformed A Yin left the Blue Silver Forest and began her long journey to deliver loyalty over a thousand miles.

Divine Realm, Eternal Shrine

Huo Yuhao reached out and summoned his other super artifact: the Eternal Narrative Record.

The Eternal Eye was the predecessor of the Eye of Fate, while the Eternal Narrative Record was the predecessor of the Book of Fate. Regarding the path of fate, although the Asura God had some insight, he was no match for Huo Yuhao.

Opening the book, blank pages revealed the destinies of A Yin and the two Hao Tian twins. According to the Eye of Fate's observations, the three originally unrelated individuals' destinies were now converging due to the Asura God's interference, with Tang Hao's fate line drifting slightly closer to A Yin's.

The assistant director had already cast the actors for the upcoming script, but the chief director glanced at it and was dissatisfied. The plot was too clichéd, too smooth, and needed changes.

So, without altering the overall direction, the chief director revised the script to make the story more bizarre, twisting, and full of ups and downs. Under his modifications, the fate lines of A Yin, Tang Hao, and Tang Xiao began to pulse and move.

Finally, Huo Yuhao closed the Eternal Narrative Record.

Angel Shrine

This was the first time Qian Renxue stepped into the Angel Shrine of the Divine Realm. It was far grander and more magnificent than the Angel Shrine she knew in the Spirit Hall.

After handing the Eternal God's letter of introduction to the divine official, she met her divine ancestor: Qian Hanyu.

"Greetings, Divine Ancestor Qian Hanyu," Qian Renxue said respectfully.

"You are my descendant, and I sense a faint pulse of bloodline from you," Qian Hanyu said from her seat on the Angel God's throne, raising an eyebrow. "But why, since I founded the Angel God's divine position as the first Angel, have I not yet passed on my divine authority, and yet I sense the Angel's divine power from you? Have you once inherited the Angel God's divine position?"

"Also, why has your soul power and divine power reversed from sacred brightness to a fallen state?"

Facing Qian Hanyu's many questions, Qian Renxue said, "Divine Ancestor, please dismiss the attendants and let me explain everything."

After hearing this, Qian Hanyu ordered her lower-ranked divine officials to leave and set up a barrier to block the surrounding divine senses from spying.

"Now, you may speak."

Qian Renxue then explained everything that had happened to her—without any concealment. Huo Yuhao was behind this too; he did not intend to hide anything from the Angel God.

Thus, Qian Hanyu gradually learned of everything that had happened in the original timeline.

First, she learned that she had been secretly assassinated by that perverted old Sea God, who had even stolen some of her authority. At first, Qian Hanyu found this impossible—after all, that old pervert was only a peak-level second-tier god; how could he have dared to scheme against her? But after Qian Renxue's explanation, Qian Hanyu's anger flared, and she admitted that if the Sea God were a peak-level first-tier god, it wouldn't be so surprising.

Then, the tragedy of the Angel clan began after she was assassinated. Her divine inheritance instinctively selected a successor, but her inheritance was controlled by that perverted old Sea God.

When she heard that this lecherous Sea God had even manipulated her descendant to fall in love with Sea God's heir Tang San, repeatedly held back in battles against him, and ultimately lost, becoming a stepping stone for the Sea God's success, Qian Hanyu's fury was beyond words.

Furthermore, she heard that the Asura God shamelessly intervened in the continental war, resurrected the clearly defeated Tang San, spared him during trials, united the two gods' powers in one body, allowed Tang San to inherit both the Sea God and Asura God divine positions, shattered the divine status of her own descendant, and erased the Spirit Hall's remaining inheritance.

Qian Hanyu clenched her fists tightly, veins bulging. "Bastards! How dare the Sea God and Asura God so openly humiliate me and my descendants!"

After calming herself, Qian Hanyu looked gently at Qian Renxue and said, "You have suffered injustice. Continue."

Qian Renxue nodded and then described what she had experienced after death—how her soul had been lodged on a divine spirit, drifting through the river of time.

At the end, Qian Hanyu sneered disdainfully: "Is this the successor carefully selected by the Sea God and Asura God? I see only a selfish villain."

Qian Hanyu reflected on how she had once ascended to godhood—through the path of faith. Why did the continent's people believe in her? Because she lived in an era plagued by evil spirit masters. In those days, powerful evil spirit masters raised humans as cultivation tools, slaughtering cities and nations for power. It was during this time that she, wielding the Angel martial soul, purified evil and suppressed malevolent spirits, founding the Spirit Hall and earning faith that crystallized into her divine position.

But because she suppressed the evil spirit masters too thoroughly, and because generation after generation of Angel martial souls oppressed the evil spirit masters, there was almost no place for evil spirit masters on the continent. They fled to the Slaughter City. The Spirit Hall's awakening benefits and soul master offerings became as commonplace as water and air to the people. This caused them to forget the contributions of her and the Spirit Hall, and instead they remembered the slanders spread by the continent's nobles, following them to overthrow the Spirit Hall. Ultimately, her inheritance fell in a wave of denunciation and violence.

In contrast, Tang San learned from her "lesson." He left behind some evil spirit masters as whips, releasing them at critical moments to lash the continent's people with pain and despair. Then at key times, he let Shrek intervene to save the survivors, who were thus grateful to the Sea God. This cycle of lash and carrot kept the Sea God's faith thriving for tens of thousands of years.
