Chapter 11 - Chapter 11

Meanwhile, the rest of the people were also uniformly gazing at the entrance.

They saw Ethan strolling in leisurely with both hands in his pockets.

"Ethan?" Jasper's eyes lit up.

"Oh no!"

From a distance, Victor saw Ethan appear, his heart sank.

Ethan was a Superpower Gene type; he hadn't developed enough yet, he could only do close combat.

Compared to Jasper's thunderbolt strength, it was nowhere near an equal match!

Victor's heart tightened; he was just about to step forward and stop Ethan.

Slap!

Suddenly, a hand pressed on his shoulder.

"Old Victor, don't be so nervous. This is just a friendly exchange between students! We, as teachers, should not interfere." Professor Du said with a chuckle.

At this moment, Ethan had already walked into the center of the stage.

"Ethan! Finally, I've been waiting for you!" Jasper exclaimed, his eyes twinkling with determination.

"Weren't you just insulting our Sterling High School?"

Ethan, with his hands in his pockets, glanced at Jasper nonchalantly.

"No, you're mistaken. I wasn't insulting. Everything I said was the truth!"

Jasper retorted with a smirk.

"People from Sterling High School are indeed all tra..."

Before Jasper could finish his sentence, Ethan's figure vanished in an instant.

Slap!

A crisp slap echoed! Swirling in place, Jasper tumbled down to the ground with a thud!

At that moment, everyone present in the sports hall was stunned. Jasper hit the ground hard, his head buzzing.

For a moment, he couldn't comprehend what had just happened.

The students around him were stupefied.

The once arrogant Jasper was unexpectedly slapped down by Ethan!

"Seeking death!"

Jasper regained his senses, his face flushed with anger.

Electricity suddenly surrounded him, levitating him from the ground.

Crackle and pop!

Arcs of electricity erratically scattered around.

Spectators quickly retreated, fearing the possibility of getting electrocuted.

Despite running quickly, many still felt a numbing sensation from the electricity.

"Professor Du, stop making a scene!"

Victor shouted from outside, a worried look on his face.

The lightning was too strong; it could potentially injure Ethan if not careful.

Boom!

Before Professor Du could reply, a massive explosion rang out from the center of the gymnasium, causing the ground to shake!

The arena filled with dust, covering the center completely.

"What's happening?"

"Seems like Ethan made his move?"

"Wait, I thought Jasper was the one who started it..."

The people around started chattering and speculating.

As the dust cleared, they could finally see the situation at the scene. Ethan, adopting his usual relaxed pose with his hands in his pockets, was standing still.

But Jasper was nowhere to be seen.

"Huh? Where did Jasper go?"

"There's no sign of him around, has he vanished?"

"Hold on! Look at Ethan's feet!"

Someone suddenly shouted.

Everyone quickly turned their attention.

"Holy smokes! Ethan is stepping on Jasper!"

Now, everyone could see clearly.

Ethan's foot was firmly planted on Jasper's chest.

It was only because the ground had sunk in at one part, making Jasper's chest flush with the ground, that people hadn't noticed at first.

"You... you..."

Jasper's eyes widened, staring at Ethan incredulously.

He hadn't even reacted yet, and he was already under Ethan's foot!

What was even more shocking to him was that Ethan was not at all afraid of the raging thunder and lightning coursing through his body!

To be blunt, his lightning couldn't inflict any harm on Ethan!

Could this be the impressive attribute of an S-grade gene?

Ziziziziz!

Refusing to accept his predicament, a few weak volts of electricity emerged from Jasper's chest.

"Hmm?"

Ethan raised an eyebrow and exerted a little more pressure with his foot.

Crack!

Jasper's bones instantly fractured, caving in a large part of his chest.

"Ah!"

Jasper cried out in agony.

Ethan gave a cold smirk. "You were acting so high and mighty earlier, lost your nerve now, have you?"

There was blood trickling from the corner of Jasper's mouth, a sight that would make the average person's skin crawl. But Ethan, who had just killed five people, was already numb.

"I... won't... submit..."

Jasper gritted his teeth.

"Alright, then."

A sinister smirk spread across Ethan's face.

Crack! One of Jasper's arms was broken.

No sooner had the scream left his mouth when there was another crack! The other arm was broken as well.

"Wait, I..." Jasper began.

Smack! Ethan crushed his shinbone mercilessly.

His bone, white against the pure flesh, protruded out. Jasper's leg was completely ruined.

"I surrender! I submit!" Jasper screamed.

His face was twisted in pain.

Ethan feigned innocence, "Why didn't you say that earlier?"

"You..."

Jasper was so furious he felt like fainting.

Outside the scene, Professor Du shouted furiously with a dark face, "Victor, isn't it time to let go?!"

At this point, it was Victor who was holding him back to prevent him from rushing in.

"My, Ethan, this kid, getting an S-level gene upgraded and doesn't know his limits. I'll have to have a good talk with him later!" Victor let go with a joyful smile.

Professor Du stormed in with a gloomy face, carried Jasper out of the pit, and led the students from Third Middle School away.

As soon as the people from Third Middle School left, everyone else immediately encircled Ethan.

"Ethan, you were so cool just now!"

"Ethan, could we take a picture together?"

"Ethan, are you free tonight?"

A group of girls passionately surrounded Ethan.

"Cough! Cough! Ethan, come over for a second."

Ethan was at a loss, but just in time, Victor arrived to save the day.

Ethan hurriedly made his escape.

"Mr. Victor, what's the matter?"

Ethan wiped his sweat.

Talking to girls was even more draining than fighting, what was up with that?

"You're here to get some paperwork done, aren't you?"

Victor got straight to the point.

"Yes, the special train for the Apex Academy will arrive in Sterling City tonight. I need to get all the paperwork done here first so it'll be convenient when I report in."

Ethan nodded in response.

"Then come with me to my office. I'll prepare whatever documents you need," said Victor.

And so, Ethan followed Victor to the office to process his paperwork.

Ethan walked into the Principal Ashton's office with a handful of documents.

The door had long been busted by the burly men of Skyfall Academy, so he didn't bother knocking.

"Principal, I need you to sign a few things."
