The Strongest Transcendent In History Is The Strongest

Chapter 19: The Fall

Zettai states calmly, his voice filled with a mix of patience and anticipation, 'I'm ready to guide you through your next spell, especially given how quickly you seem to grasp new concepts.'

I nod enthusiastically, affirming his statement, 'Yes, I am eager to learn more!'

-Meanwhile, in an entirely different part of the building, blissfully unaware of the brewing chaos around her-

Katsume stirs awake, her eyelids fluttering as she struggles to comprehend her surroundings. 'Where am I?' she murmurs, disoriented as the remnants of sleep cling to her.

Suddenly, with a startling crash, a man bursts through the window, his striking appearance drawing immediate attention. Clad in a sleek, pure black suit accented with bold yellow straps that crisscross his back, he wears black pants and boasts piercing green eyes, framed by long, flowing black hair that seems to ripple like dark silk.

The man introduces himself with a casual nonchalance, 'I'm Mishikkurūpu, and my reasons for being here revolve entirely around you.' Without giving her a chance to react, he lunges toward her.

-Returning to Zettai and Kiro Yatsu, who are still deeply engaged in their discussions and practices-

Zettai, now noticeably impressed, remarks, 'Wow, it's quite remarkable to think you've managed to master so much in less than a day. If your emotions are strong enough, the very fabric of the world will twist to match them. For someone like you, the concept of distance holds no significance; your potential is limitless.'

Suddenly overwhelmed by a wave of sensations, I find myself collapsing to my knees, my energy waning as I gasp for breath, feeling an unsettling shift within me.

Zettai, noticing my sudden distress, expresses his concern, 'What's wrong? You look unwell!'

I manage to gasp out Katsume's name, my heart racing with anxiety.

Zettai's expression changes to one of alarm as he realizes the gravity of the situation. 'You're resonating with her!' he states, his tone turning serious. 'If you believe she's still alive, you must run to her faster than the very concept of belief can allow. Don't waste a moment more!'

Without a second thought, I thrust myself into the air, shooting upward as if propelled by a force of pure determination and desperation.

-Meanwhile, back with Katsume, who remains unaware of the approaching storm-

Mishikkurūpu, with a sinister grin stretching across his face, declares, 'Nice knowing ya,' before blitzing toward her with ruthless intent.

Katsume's eyes widen in horror as she realizes the threat, her voice barely escaping her lips, 'Kiro!'

At that moment, I land directly in front of Mishikkurūpu, ready to protect my sister at all costs.

Mishikkurūpu raises an eyebrow, his tone casual yet mocking as he scoffs, 'And who might you be? What a curious situation we have here…' His words trail off, only to be met with an oppressive silence, as I focus all my energy on him.

Not one to be easily deterred, Mishikkurūpu tries to fill the void, saying, 'Well, it seems you're not much for conversation. Either shy or scared, huh? Oh well, it won't matter soon enough when I end both your lives,' a menacing grin creeping across his face.

Yet, unbeknownst to him, Kiro Yatsu's silence isn't born of shyness or fear. Rather, it stems from a tempest of emotions raging within him—a potent mix because words couldn't describe the anger he felt and protectiveness, fueled by the desire to shield his little sister from harm.

In that pivotal moment, something shifts within Mishikkurūpu. For the first time, he feels an unfamiliar sensation—a flicker of something unsettling. Was it enjoyment? Or had he teetered on the brink of madness? No, it was more primal than that; it was raw fear. He found himself truly intimidated by the fiery, unwavering glint in Kiro's eyes, a reflection of the immense power that lurked just beneath the surface.

With a surge of adrenaline, I throw a powerful punch at Mishikkurūpu, the force of my strike sending him crashing through the school window.

He tumbles out, plummeting into the ground below, the chaotic energy of the moment echoing in the air around us.
