Prologue

At the age of twenty-three, Yuki Kazanari hadn't achieved much. He barely graduated high school and wasn't accepted into any colleges.

Out of shame, his parents disowned him and kicked him out of the house, forcing him to fend for himself.

For years, Yuki struggled to survive. Life was harsh, unforgiving, and often hopeless. But eventually, he discovered something he excelled at—swordsmanship.

He joined a local dojo, and from the moment he picked up a wooden blade, it became clear: he was a natural. In no time, he climbed the ranks, mastering the art with astonishing speed. His lightning-fast reflexes and genius-level battle instincts turned him into a monster with a sword.

Within two years, he gained international fame, hailed as one of—if not the—strongest swordsmen in the world. It was an accomplishment he took immense pride in.

But his parents still refused to acknowledge him.

"What good is being skilled with a wooden sword in today's world? People have guns, Yuki. Your talent is useless. You're still a failure. Don't ever come back."

Those were the last words they ever said to him.

That night, on his drive home, Yuki was too lost in grief to notice the red light. He only realized it mid-intersection, panic flaring in his chest. But it was too late.

A semi-truck barreled into his car at full speed, sending it flying into a tree. Yuki died on impact.

As his consciousness faded, a strange image surfaced in his mind—an absurd, almost laughable thought: a spiky-haired boy in orange, Naruto Uzumaki, his favorite anime character.

'I never got to finish the series...'

In his final seconds, he wished for nothing more than a second chance.

Yuki had always believed that death was the end. No heaven, no hell—just nothingness.

Which is why it shocked him when instead of disappearing, his world simply... went black—and stayed that way.

Time became meaningless. Seconds stretched into what felt like millennia. He floated in an endless void, unable to move, think, or feel.

Then... something changed.

A prickle danced across his skin. Then thousands more, like static crawling over every inch of him. Thankfully, his sense of pain hadn't returned yet—if it had, it might've been unbearable.

Soon, he could smell something sterile. Then he began to feel weight. His hearing returned in a rush, followed by sight.

Blurred shapes slowly sharpened.

Yuki found himself in a small, white room. In front of him was a plain desk, an old monitor, and a chair. He didn't mean to move, but his body carried itself to the chair and sat.

The screen blinked to life.

Congratulations, Yuki Kazanari.

You have been chosen by the Karma System to be reincarnated. We apologize for the life you were given. Fret not—your experiences have earned you the right to decide your next one.

Where would you like to go?

Yuki stared in disbelief.

Reincarnation? This is real?

He had a thousand questions, but a deeper fear gripped him: if he hesitated, would this chance vanish?

There was only ever one answer.

He would never return to that cold, unwelcoming world. He was born in the wrong era—a sword genius in an age of bullets.

No... there was only one place he wanted to go.

"I wish to live in the world of Naruto."

The system responded almost instantly.

Are you sure of your decision? This is your final chance to change it.

"Yes. I will not change my decision."

A pause.

...Loading complete. Welcome to the world of Naruto. Please select your character.

A glowing interface appeared before him, listing every major hidden village.

Yuki pondered his choices, but the answer was obvious.

'Konoha... the Hidden Leaf. It's where everything begins. It's the strongest village, and it has all the main characters.'

Konoha selected. You will be randomly assigned a body.

Please select your system reward.

A new menu appeared with one bolded word:

Jutsu

Yuki clicked. A vast list unfolded—every jutsu in the Naruto universe. Apparently, whatever he picked would be fully learnable and usable, granted by the system.

He took this seriously. His survival in this world depended on it.

Hours passed as he sorted through technique after technique, narrowing the options.

Eventually, he settled on five:

The Eight Inner Gates

Lightning Release Chakra Mode

Flying Raijin

Rasengan

Raikiri

Each one had its appeal—and its drawbacks.

The Eight Gates were undeniably powerful. Open all of them, and even Ōtsutsuki would fall. But the cost was death. Too risky. He crossed it off.

Lightning Release Chakra Mode, used by the Raikage, was insanely powerful—amplifying strength, speed, and defense. But it was a village secret, and maintaining it consumed massive chakra. Unusable for now.

Rasengan was iconic, but too recognizable. Even if he mastered it, people would ask questions—dangerous questions.

Raikiri was cool, but required the Sharingan for safe usage. He couldn't count on getting one—and implanting it came with dangerous side effects.

That left one.

Flying Raijin.

It had always been his favorite. Created by the Second Hokage, perfected by the Fourth. Instant teleportation. Strategic god-tier utility. High chakra cost and secrecy, yes—but manageable.

He could disguise it as Body Flicker with precise timing and avoid detection. Used wisely, it could be the perfect trump card.

"I choose Flying Raijin."

The system processed the choice.

Confirmed. Beginning reincarnation process. Please select your Kekkei Genkai—

Before he could act, an error message flashed. The screen glitched. Then everything went dark.

Suddenly, memories surged into his mind—not his own, yet intimately familiar. They belonged to a boy from the Hidden Leaf, an orphan who lost both parents when the Nine-Tails attacked the village.

Raised in an orphanage, the boy lived in quiet determination, unknowingly shaping himself with a burning will to survive.

Now, Yuki shared his body—and his memories.

At age six, the boy had just passed the entrance exam to the Ninja Academy.

And so, Yuki Kazanari—world-class swordsman, scorned prodigy, and now soul-bound shinobi—was reborn in the world of Naruto.
