"Go to the kitchen and bring the tableware over. Also, about washing clothes—you said you'll do that from now on."
Sasuke tilted his head and looked at Naruto, a flicker of anticipation in his eyes.
He really wanted to see how others would react when he bullied Naruto.
Especially Kakashi. By his position, Naruto was the child of his teacher. Whether Kakashi had taken care of him before or not, now he should be able to tell from the daily chores.
"No problem, Sasuke, wait for me a moment. I'll go to the kitchen to get the tableware first."
Naruto didn't see any issue with this since that's what they had agreed on.
Besides, Sasuke had given him a place to live, so naturally, Naruto would take care of the other things.
"Go ahead, no rush."
Standing in the yard, Sasuke shifted his gaze toward a crow quietly perched on a nearby tree.
The crow was very well hidden, indistinguishable from a normal crow.
But Sasuke knew this was Uchiha Itachi's crow clone, and it was watching him.
"Let's go eat first. Kakashi-senpai's cooking smells really good. I almost couldn't resist eating earlier, but he was so strict—he said I have a lot to learn."
Naruto came out carrying a pile of bowls and chopsticks, some were Sasuke's, and some he had used earlier.
As they walked toward the neighboring courtyard, Naruto couldn't help but complain about the strict Kakashi.
At first, Kakashi wanted to take the role of an elder, but after a few words from Naruto, he reluctantly accepted the title of "senpai."
At least, whether he was a little off or way off, calling him "senpai" was acceptable.
But being an elder was different. At a time when Sasuke had just lost his family, having an elder suddenly appear was like reopening a wound.
"Thank you. Kakashi-senpai's cooking is really good."
After finishing the meal, Sasuke didn't forget to compliment the hardworking cook.
Though it was still a bit inferior compared to his older brother's cooking…
Unfortunately, his brother probably wouldn't have many chances to cook anymore.
"It's not bad, I'm glad it's not disliked. Rest well today, Sasuke. Your body isn't fully healed yet. Once you recover completely, I'll teach you how to use the Sharingan."
Kakashi didn't avoid the topic of the Sharingan. Since he was assigned the task, he naturally intended to take it seriously.
In reality, though, he didn't understand much and had spent the last few days catching up on lessons at the Third Hokage's place and studying books by himself.
These secret texts he had read were actually treasured relics of the Uchiha clan.
Though he felt it was a pity, ultimately, it wasn't something he could interfere with.
"Alright, I'm going to rest first. Naruto, you should go to bed early too. There's a practical training class tomorrow."
Sasuke stopped at the door and suddenly turned to remind Naruto.
Practical training was very important.
Although it was mainly taijutsu and kunai throwing practice, this was the only way students from commoner families in Konoha could compete.
Because children from ordinary families basically didn't have access to ninjutsu outside of the Three Body Technique.
"Practical training is brutal. No way, I'm going to sleep now. Sasuke, you rest well too."
Hearing about the practical training, Naruto immediately jumped up in frustration.
But after a moment's hesitation, he decided to go straight to bed and get plenty of rest so he wouldn't lose too badly tomorrow.
Practical training was such a hassle!
