Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Gol D. Roger is Resurrected

East Blue Sea.

Logue Town.

The streets were bustling with people, lined with countless shops.

"Sure enough, after the end of the war, although the New World is becoming more chaotic, the situation in the first half of the Grand Line has stabilized a lot."

A young man in his twenties walked briskly through the streets of Logue Town, his eyes curiously observing everything around him.

He wore a wide black coat, and the hood concealed most of his face, revealing only a side profile with clear, chestnut-colored eyes.

A long, ordinary sword hung from his waist.

"It was too late when I arrived in this world through time travel. I missed a lot of events."

His profile, partially illuminated by the setting sun, showed a confident smile slowly forming at the corner of his mouth.

It was the kind of confidence that came from deep within the heart of someone truly sure of himself.

His name was Riven D. Kael, and he was a transmigrator.

The sun set, and dusk fell.

Riven D. Kael approached a massive execution platform.

Like countless tourists from around the world, he slowly lifted his head and gazed up at the platform — a place full of deep historical significance to this sea.

Compared to the towering skyscrapers of the world he came from, this ten-meter-high execution platform seemed insignificant.

Yet, it was the few moments that occurred on this very stand that drastically changed the history of this world.

The man who smiled in the face of death, with just a few words, ignited a new era — the era of the great pirates.

Riven slowly raised his hand and pulled back his hood, revealing a handsome face.

His eyes were sharp and bright, his brows like swords, and his gaze held a mesmerizing, starry brilliance.

"Roger, did you see it? This is the era you started."

The corners of his mouth curled into a mocking smile, and his tone was filled with irony.

"What a shame… The era you sparked with your own hands is now spiraling into chaos, completely out of control."

Riven stood before the execution platform, speaking under his breath. His presence, calm yet intense, slowly drew the attention of those nearby.

The platform — once the stage for the Pirate King's final words — had become a hotspot for trouble in Logue Town. Many pirates, hungry for fame or glory, viewed it as a symbol of challenge… or destruction.

To them, power came not only from strength but from being known. And making a scene here? That was one way to earn a name.

The crowd thickened, the air grew tense, and more than a few dangerous faces began to emerge.

"Ignore them," someone murmured. "Those are pirates blending into the crowd."

Within moments, the sharp rhythm of marching boots echoed through the street. A wave of blue and white uniforms closed in around the square, surrounding the platform with military precision.

The Logue Town Marines had arrived.

"Hey! You there — what do you think you're doing?"

"Step away! No one touches the execution platform!"

A low murmur rippled through the ranks of the Marines.

Then, like a tide parting, the uniformed soldiers stepped aside. A tall man wearing a crisp coat of justice strode forward with authority.

"I am Colonel Das, commander of the Logue Town base. I'm ordering you to step away from the execution platform!"

Ever since the chaos caused by the Straw Hat boy, Luffy, and the clown Bucky more than half a year ago, Roger's execution platform had been under strict Marine surveillance and protection.

To the Marines and the World Government, this platform wasn't just wood and stone — it was a monument to the justice they claimed had ended Roger's so-called reign of evil. To them, it symbolized victory.

But Riven merely shook his head, ignoring the barking orders.

He didn't even glance at the colonel. Instead, he whispered to himself,

"The one who knows all truths and all secrets..."

"Let's see what kind of force you truly are in this storm of a new era."

"Are you just echoes of a forgotten age, the remnants Whitebeard spoke of?"

"Still—"

He didn't finish his sentence—he just smirked coldly.

Then, in a flash, he leapt over the railing and strode straight toward the execution platform.

"What the hell is he doing?!"

"Is that kid trying to get himself killed?!"

Gasps erupted from the crowd like a spark in dry grass.

From below, the Marines raised their rifles, aiming in unison under the commander's order.

"If he moves a muscle, shoot him down!"

But Riven, now standing with one foot firmly planted on the execution platform, remained completely unshaken.

Then, without warning, a cold, mechanical voice echoed inside his mind:

---

"Access granted. Execution platform of Gol D. Roger in Logue Town recognized.

Do you wish to resurrect the character: 'Gol D. Roger'?"

---

Without even a moment's hesitation, Riven replied:

"Begin resurrection."

The next moment...

A deep, bold, and heroic laughter rolled across the execution platform, sweeping through all of Logue Town like a rising storm.

"Want my treasure? I'll give it to you—if you can find it!"

"I left everything the world has to offer in one place!"

The crowd froze. Faces shifted from curiosity to sheer shock.

The Marines went pale, their expressions twisted in disbelief.

That voice—it was unmistakable.

It wasn't a recording, or some illusion from the past.

It was real.

Something was happening—something impossible.

A searing white light erupted from the execution platform, blinding everyone nearby. The figures before the light vanished into the radiance.

And then—

From within the glow, a towering silhouette emerged. Proud posture. Majestic presence. Piercing gaze.

The impossible had returned.

The Pirate King, Gol D. Roger... was back.
