Chapter 11 – Sensory Overload (18+)

She inhaled sharply, fingers digging into his arms, but he didn't give her time to think. His hand trailed up her side—slow and wicked—before cupping her breast with full, deliberate pressure. His thumb flicked across the peak, and Naomi's back arched.

Lux grinned against her neck. "You like that?"

"Y-yes."

His teeth grazed her again. "Say it louder."

"Yes—yes!"

"That's better."

His mouth worshipped her now—kiss after kiss, lick after bite—until she was writhing beneath him, her body singing with anticipation.

Then he pulled back—only for a second—and met her eyes.

"I'm not going to be gentle," he said, voice low and edged with heat. "I don't do soft. Not unless I'm luring angels into hell."

Naomi nodded, breath ragged.

"Good girl."

She barely had time to react.

Because then—

He moved.

His hips shifted.

And she felt him—thick and firm—slide against her entrance, teasing, pressing, not yet inside but there.

Lux groaned low, eyes fluttering shut for a moment. "You're going to feel every inch of me."

He smirked.

And thrust.

Naomi's entire world detonated.

Lux didn't pause.

He set a rhythm—deep, deliberate, claiming every part of her with each movement. His body rolled into hers like a tidal wave. Controlled. Powerful. Her moans filled the suite, bouncing off the glass, lost in the ceiling.

Every time she tried to speak, he silenced her with his mouth.

Every time her legs trembled, he gripped them tighter.

Every sound she made—he chased.

Her mind was a whirlwind of light and sound and sensation.

Nothing existed except him.

Naomi clung to him like he was the only thing keeping her from vanishing. Her nails scratched along his back, and he growled, eyes darkening with hunger.

"Is this what you wanted?" he rasped, thrusting harder.

"Yes," she moaned, her voice broken and high.

"Say my name."

"Lux—!"

"Louder."

"Lux—!"

He grinned, a low, dangerous chuckle rumbling from his throat.

"Good girl."

Naomi cried out as another wave crashed through her, but Lux didn't let her ride it alone. He followed—one final thrust, hips grinding deep—and released with a deep groan.

Lux stayed there for a moment, letting the warmth settle between them, before he finally pulled back—slow, deliberate.

A faint trail of red followed, the smallest trace of innocence claimed and marked with something more. His seed.

He glanced down, eyes gleaming, and let out a slow breath of satisfaction.

"Guess I made a good investment," he murmured, voice rich with dark amusement.

Naomi's lashes fluttered. Her chest rose and fell in shaky breaths as she looked up at him, dazed. "What… what are you?"

Lux leaned closer, brushing back her damp hair with the back of his knuckles. His smirk was effortless, deadly.

"Me?" he said, eyes gleaming.

"I'm Hell's CFO."

Naomi blinked up at him, her cheeks still flushed, her breathing only just starting to calm. She pouted adorably and shoved at his shoulder, though her palm stayed resting there like she couldn't decide between pushing him away or pulling him back in.

"Even after all this," she muttered, half hiding her face against the pillow, "you're still using that Hell metaphor. I just gave you everything, and you still won't talk straight."

Lux's brow quirked. "Metaphor?"

"Yes!" she said, flustered and pink. "The whole devil-in-a-suit, demon-on-vacation, chaos-with-a-smile shtick—very cute. But I want to know who you actually are. The real you. Not this… this hot financial cryptid persona."

Lux let out a low chuckle, and it rumbled through his chest. He leaned in again, brushing his thumb across her lower lip with a casual dominance that made her heart flip in her chest.

"I think you've got me wrong, Naomi," he said. His voice dropped an octave, husky and laced with something ancient.

"I'm not pretending."

She opened her mouth to argue—paused. That look in his eyes… it wasn't teasing. It wasn't flirtation.

It was truth.

He sat up slowly, still naked, his muscles flexing lazily. "Since you're my partner," he murmured, standing now at the edge of the bed, "I guess it's time to reintroduce myself."

Naomi sat up slightly, still tangled in the sheets. "Wait, what?"

Lux exhaled.

And the air in the room shifted.

A shimmer of dark energy rolled off him like heat from asphalt, warping the space for just a breath of a second—just long enough for Naomi's body to register the change.

And then she saw it.

First, the horns.

Two sleek arcs curled elegantly from his hairline, tapering back like polished crowns. Not huge. Not grotesque. Just sharp. Clean. Regal.

Then the tail.

It unfurled behind him with a lazy flick, spade-tipped and smooth, swaying like it had a mind of its own—low and teasing.

But what truly froze Naomi was the final change.

The wings.

A pair of demon wings burst from his back with a rush of wind and dark shimmer—spanning out wide, casting flickering shadows against the suite's walls. They were leathery, crimson-black, and veined with faint traces of gold, as if greed had sunk into his very bones.

Naomi's eyes went wide.

Her breath caught.

Lux turned toward her slowly, and with all the flair of someone used to grand entrances, he bent one leg back in a smooth, elegant flex—like a stage performer—but somehow… more deadly.

He swept one hand to his bare chest, fingertips brushing his skin as if presenting himself.

Then he smirked—full, devilish, beautiful.

"Name's Lux Vaelthorn," he said, voice dipped in velvet and brimstone.

"Son of the Lord of Greed and the Daughter of Lust. Hell's Chief Financial Overlord. Currently on vacation."

He winked. "Nice to meet you properly, Naomi."

The silence that followed was deafening.

Naomi's mouth opened.

Closed.

Opened again.

"…You're serious," she finally whispered.

"Yup."

"You—wait, wait, wait—what?"

Lux's tail swished behind him, casually. "Need me to do the PowerPoint presentation version?"
