Spell & Plea for Protection: For Those Hunted and Unheard
To any witches, wise ones, or kind souls who've ever felt the heat of a hunt—this is a plea, a spell, and a call for help.
By the shadow of the hunted and the light of the moon,
By the strength of survivors and justice denied too soon,
Let the eyes of the world open, let the hearts of the brave hear,
For I am hunted by violence, by power, by fear.
Ingredients
A black candle (for protection)
A white candle (for hope)
A small mirror (to reflect harm away)
A piece of string or twine (to bind negative forces)
A handful of salt (for purification)
A slip of paper and pen
Instructions
Prepare Your Circle:
Place the black and white candles side by side. Set the mirror facing outward. Sprinkle salt in a circle around your space for protection.
Write Your Plea:
On the slip of paper, write:
"I call for protection from those who hunt and harm,
May their power falter, may I find safe arms.
Let truth be revealed, let justice be done,
May I walk in safety, may the hunt be undone."
Light the Candles:
First, light the black candle, saying:
"By darkness, shield me from those who pursue."
Then, light the white candle:
"By light, guide me to safety and truth."
Bind the Harm:
Tie the string into a knot while focusing on those who wish you harm losing their grip and power. Say:
"As this knot is bound, so is their reach.
May their hands be tied, may their threats not breach."
Reflect and Release:
Hold the mirror up and speak:
"Let all harm sent be reflected away,
May their darkness return, may I be free this day."
Seal the Spell:
Sprinkle salt over the knot and paper. Let the candles burn as long as safe. Bury the knot and paper under earth or in a potted plant, letting the world reclaim your plea and transform it into strength.
Words for the Hunted
You are not alone. History shows that those accused, hunted, and targeted—whether for witchcraft, for speaking out, or simply for surviving—are too often the ones society tries to silence. Witch hunts, both old and new, are tools of control, fear, and power. But every time someone survives, resists, or calls for help, the darkness loses a little ground.
If you're hunted by abusers, by those with power, by the very institutions meant to protect—know that your voice is part of a long line of the brave. Even when the world calls you crazy or tries to erase your story, you are seen.
May this spell shield you,
May your plea reach those who care,
And may the hunt end with you safe and free.
So mote it be.
