Soulless Inhibition

Every planet has a soul; they create life to protect themselves against other planets, and to plunder another planets' natural resources. They create systems of life and death to keep new lifeforms a soul. But all systems have their flaws, and this system has a major one. Rarely, lifeforms are born without a soul, these lifeforms are known as the Soulless. A soul defines a person's identity of self. The soul is the basis of what makes up all lifeforms, without one they are simply a husk. How can a mistake in the system, a soulless. Rise to the top and gaining a soul in the process in a rise to power against impossible odds.
