Synopsis
(Pinterest Cover)(DC/Young Justice x Character inspired by Eidolon & The Sentry) There is a man on Pluto, a man whose power radiated across the Dwarf Planet when they fell onto the planet. There is a man on Pluto, a man with no name of his own and no memories of his own, only flashes of colors and places he's never been. There is a man of power on Pluto with no one to talk to, no one to help him understand. There is a weapon, Pluto, a weapon with no purpose beyond the question...."Why?" What happens when a being with no memories beyond a few flashes wakes up on Pluto with abilities they don't understand? Will they be a hero, a villain, or something different, and what if they weren't the only new beings in this universe, what if he was followed? (Inspiration explanation, inspired by Eidolon's relationship with the Endbringers and their creation, and some basic abilities from The Sentry, no reality warping, sorry)

Chapter 1 - A Man on Pluto

*3rd POV*

*Location: Pluto*

*Date: June 25th, 2010*

Across the barren, brownish-grey plains of Pluto stood one lone mountain, one that nearly reached the sky and would be worshipped as an idol if life had developed on the dwarf planet. It nearly touched the sky and its shadow loomed across the planet as the sun set, with the darkness growing, covering the planet in a blanket of darkness. The only source of light was the planet's moons that orbited the planet, ever distant and hanging in the sky like a fan.

Yet, bursting through the atmosphere was a golden flaming object, one that rapidly fell through the atmosphere. Soon enough, the object collided with the mountain, rolling down till it reached the very bottom of it, its flames slowly disappearing as it revealed a humanoid figure, one that was wearing a black body suit that had six odd circular objects sticking out of it. Two on both of their arms and one on both of his shoulders.

While they did look vaguely human, their golden hair shimmered like gold itself with some of the fire still radiating off of them. His skin was an unnatural tan with no signs of burns on their body, including the being's suit. Slowly, the humanoid's body stirred as his eyes opened, revealing two differently colored irises, one of which was a deep crimson and the other the same golden glow as their hair and the very flame that preceded their arrival.

They then shot up with a confused expression on their face, fear and anxiety evident in their eyes as a golden energy began to surround them, almost like a natural defense.

*??? POV*

Colors that were all I saw at first, flashes of colors I had no names for, and then the places, things, and other people moving before my eyes. I saw places that I both knew and didn't know, I felt a wave of confusion wash over me, I could feel my body tense, and my new yet old emotions overwhelmed me as I was then greeted with darkness. It felt... familiar like all those other places, all those other things I didn't understand, all the things that made me afraid.

Opening my eyes, I was greeted with a place utterly alien to me. The colors were so dark, and the environment so cold, that I could feel my nerves freezing. In response to all these new sensations, I felt a weird energy flow through my body, as a flame surrounded me, protecting me from this place...weirdness. I then took a look at my body, at my fingers and feet, realizing that I had it, and felt my face and neck, I felt every inch of my skin beyond the black suit I was wearing.

I slowly trudged my way through the planet's plains, feeling the icy surface graze my feet. The feeling didn't last long, however, as I slowly rose above the ground, going higher and higher till I was able to see the planet's surface, its disgusting colors painting a crystal clear picture of what the rest of the planet was like. I stretched my arms out, getting a good look at my body, wanting to understand just what happened to me, how this happened.

My mind was filled with bright, beautiful colors and places of extravagant beauty that put this planet to shame. Then the darkness came, a place that could only be described as loneliness and solitude gifted form. A place no sentient/sapient being should endure for not even a second, I could feel it crushing me still even now, as I saw the physical world.

I then began to gather that same golden energy into my right hand, forming a ball of pure energy instinctively and not of my own volition. It then shot out towards the mountain. I tumbled down, destroying the very top of it and sending the debris scattering down the mountain. Seeing that I held on tightly to my arm, concentrating as hard as I could to stop it from forming another one, which luckily I was able to do.

Seeing the destruction I was capable of, I began calming down and floating toward the mountain, sitting down on a ledge that had naturally formed on it. I looked at the clearest piece of ice I could find, and just stared at myself in my reflection, at my eyes that easily showed my fear and anxiety. I ran my fingers down my face, still reeling from all this new information and not knowing what to.

This place was empty, devoid of anyone like me or anything but ice; no answer could be found here nor on the moons orbiting it. No, I needed to find other lifeforms, other beings who could perhaps give me possible answers or help me find them. Even then, though, I could use the company and have true social interactions with these beings to understand this reality. I think this place was foreign to me anyway; it didn't feel like home, nor did it feel familiar, but instead it felt like something else entirely.

I also felt alone, so alone here, even now, even if I was no longer in that suffocating darkness from before. It was still painful, though, the freezing air still tormented my lungs, even if it didn't truly hurt me, it wanted me to freeze, even though the energy that allowed for flight and that attack earlier protected me. It still felt off, though, as though I was supposed to do something different, use my abilities to perform a task I had long forgotten.

That was my guess at least, otherwise what point would they have in creating or even birthing a being like, or sending me to a place devoid of life, and the only thing plentiful was the cold air. Perhaps whatever happened to me was an accident, or perhaps they thought someone would be there to pick me up, to explain what had happened to me, why this happened to me.

I had too many questions and no answers, no way to get them answered, not without recovering my lost memories. That would perhaps be the best place to begin, to try and figure out how to use my abilities properly, although that could perhaps be solved with training and time. This planet could serve that purpose, help me understand the full scale of my capabilities. It was empty and devoid of all life, with only possible targets like this mountain.

Then, once I was more confident in my abilities, I could leave this world and find places with life on them, find anyone who was like me. The odds of that happening, though, were probably nil though but one could always hope, and right now, that was pretty much all I had, beyond a word, repeating in my head over and over.

Icarus...

(An idea I've had for a while now, but Webnovel decided it didn't want to work with me whenever I tried to write it, but not my other fanfics for some reason, as they were written more easily.)
