Zeus looked at Mobius with a smile and said, "How about it, my dear God of Healing, Mobius!" Zeus emphasized the word "healing."
Mobius smiled and said, "Your Highness Zeus, are you sure you will get the most benefit if I join your ranks?"
Zeus said indifferently, "Of course. As the first god in the world to master the power of healing, as long as you are by the side of the King of Gods, my position will never be shaken."
Since Mobius said so, Zeus spoke frankly. Anyway, with Mobius's intelligence, he would definitely be able to guess.
"Oh, really, my dear Emperor Zeus, are you sure that my presence by your side will make your position as King of Gods more stable?" Mobius retorted.
Zeus sat back down and said softly, "Yes, I am sure. The power of healing should always accompany authority, and most importantly, the power of healing should serve the highest."
"But Your Highness Zeus, you are not the highest existence in the world right now! You are just the King of Gods; the primordial gods are pressing down on you, and some hidden gods in the world also have power not inferior to yours," Mobius said, refuting without any panic.
Just as Zeus was about to say something more, Mobius continued, "Your Highness Zeus, your power is very strong, and there are at least nine other beings like you!"
"Let's not even mention Poseidon, the God of the Sea. Your brother in the underworld, Hades, has received gifts from the Goddess of Fate. A large number of the Goddess of Fate's children have been by Hades's side, assisting him!"
"Just one opportunity away..." Mobius was interrupted by Zeus before he could finish.
"Enough!!!" Zeus slammed his hand on the throne, shattering it, and said indifferently, "Mobius, are you trying to confuse me? Do you not want to become my subordinate god?"
Zeus's expression began to turn unpleasant. He had always been ruthless towards those he could not control!
"No," Mobius was not worried that Zeus would suddenly erupt, because although Zeus's emotions were angry, his pressure had not increased, but rather had decreased significantly compared to the beginning.
"Emperor Zeus, I am merely explaining the pros and cons of me joining your ranks," Mobius said, calmly tidying his hair.
"Alright, tell me. If you don't have enough power, then you won't be leaving this temple!" Zeus said indifferently.
"Your Highness Zeus, your position as King of Gods seems stable, but it is fraught with danger. You may be looking for the King of Gods who will pull you down from the throne of the King of Gods, but don't forget how you became the King of Gods!" Mobius reminded.
"Ares told you this, didn't he?" Zeus narrowed his eyes. "I didn't expect him to tell you this!"
"Yes, His Highness Ares told me. If he hadn't told me these secrets, I wouldn't be able to persuade you in front of Your Highness Zeus right now," Mobius said with a smile.
"Alright, you continue. I'll listen here." Zeus sat on the throne, his expression indifferent, showing no signs of joy or anger.
"Your Highness Zeus, the original driving force of this world came from His Highness Eros, one of the great primordial gods. Because of desire, the world began to develop; this was the world's initial ability."
"And the first generation of the King of Gods oppressed countless gods, including his children and brothers, and even to a certain extent, oppressed the great Mother Earth, Gaea, thus falling into a deep sleep," Mobius said.
"Oh, what does that have to do with me wanting to take you under my wing?" Zeus asked.
"Of course it does!" A leaf appeared in Mobius's hand, with some water flowing beneath it. "This is like the relationship between a leaf and water. Your Highness, the King of Gods, you are that leaf, and the gods you rule are the water beneath."
"Your Highness's position as King of Gods was bestowed by the world, but if all the gods do not obey your commands, then would you still be considered the King of Gods, Emperor Zeus?" Mobius asked.
Hearing Mobius's words, Zeus's face turned grim. It was clear that he had also thought of the crucial point. The first generation of the King of Gods, Uranus, was overthrown by Kronos and sent to the land of eternal slumber because of his excessive brutality, which led to widespread rebellion.
Therefore, one cannot be too extreme in their actions, nor can they extinguish the hopes of other gods. Otherwise, he, as the King of Gods, could be overthrown by other gods even without the appearance of the so-called prophesied child. Although the essence of the King of Gods was within him, if he were to lose his masculine symbol, he would suffer the same fate as the first generation of the King of Gods.
And the current Mobius might also be such a fuse. Although he did not act as ruthlessly as Uranus, he also did not possess Uranus's immense strength.
Mobius was the first being in the world capable of healing gods. If he monopolized this ability, he would naturally stand in opposition to all the gods, unless he allowed Mobius to freely heal all gods.
But if that were the case, what would be the point of him taking Mobius under his wing?
"And Emperor Zeus, my staying by His Highness Ares's side is the best choice! If Your Highness Zeus, you wish to use my healing power, then you can come to me at any time. As His Highness Ares's..." Mobius paused for a moment and continued, "and my father's, I will not refuse your requests."
"Moreover, because I am under His Highness Ares's command, those gods who do not wish to be ruled by Emperor Zeus will not want to come to me; they will only want to abduct me. This will give Your Highness an opportunity to act," Mobius said with a smile.
Hearing Mobius's words, Zeus felt there was some truth to them, but something still felt off!
Zeus continued, "What if I still want you to stay by my side?"
Mobius said with a smile, "Then Emperor Zeus will lose a child loyal to you, and will gain countless covetous gazes, plus a God of Healing with no healing ability."
Hearing Mobius's words, Zeus choked with anger and looked at Mobius, saying, "Do I look so unworthy of your allegiance? Mobius, you'd rather choose a God of War who doesn't even have a brain than stand behind me, the King of Gods?"
Mobius's mouth twitched. Standing in front of you or behind you is both a torment! If I get messed with, wouldn't that be a huge loss!
