Chapter 1 - The Beginning of The End..

In the Great Kingdom of Dressrosa, within one of its many breathtaking gardens, stood a boy in quiet contemplation.

He wore a black track suit and grey pajama pants, a comic book in one hand and a pen in the other. A casual glance was enough for any local to tell: this boy wasn't from around here.

He blinked slowly, as if awakening from a long dream. His gaze wandered over the sea of fragrant flowers around him, and then to the distant medieval architecture of stone houses, their clay roofs shining under the sun.

Then, finally, he spoke.

"...Huh. I don't remember ever coming here."

He turned in a slow circle, overwhelmed by the fairytale-like beauty of the garden.

"What are the chances this is a transmigration...? Haha, no way. Maybe I've been kidnapped? That's more likely... Let me just make a call—"

He froze.

No signal. Nothing familiar.

And in the distance, just visible over rooftops and trees... a Gladiator style Roman Colosseum stood tall in the town nearby

This.. Flabbergasted is a small word to express what Lucky is feeling right now. He looked around.

' Huh seems like Medieval period'

With a mixture of curiosity and mounting dread, he began walking toward the city.

---

As he entered the streets, the world exploded with life.

Fruit vendors yelled over each other. Dancers twirled in brilliant dresses. Knights in shining Roman-style armor patrolled the cobbled roads. Children laughed. Music played.

It felt like a city painted in light.

He approached a fruit stand, hoping for answers.

"Hey kid, what do you want?" the old shopkeeper barked.

"Old man… where is this?"

"Yeah, we've got all kinds of fruit he— Wait, what did you say?"

"I mean… what is this place? What's it called?"

The shopkeeper narrowed his eyes. "The hell...? You come here without knowing where you are? This is the Kingdom of Dressrosa, now get outta here if you're not buying anything!"

He was shoved aside, bewildered.

Dressrosa...

' May be this is where my adventure starts.. If this is an isekai.. I might even be a hero with some op powers.. Who knows..'

Feeling Giddy he decided to explore the town for a bit

---

Some time later, the boy sat slumped at the edge of an alleyway, overwhelmed.

His name was Lucky — though, right now, it didn't feel appropriate. Infact Lucky felt like he might have a thing or two to discuss aboy the naming sense of his mother with her..

'Though she would... May be that's not a brilliant thin to do'

"Ah, shit... What's going on?" he yelled to himself, . first he fell into a sewage, then got kicked around by some woman because I saw re changing dress accidenally and even list my deat pen!! Like wtf!! This isn't how it's supposed to be. Shouldn't I get some kind of cheat ability or system or... something? Why am I so weak?"

He opened his wallet and took out a small photo — a stern-faced man and a smiling woman. His parents.

Seeing the picture Lucky was overcome by heavy melancholy and grief

"If this really is another world... I may never see them again," he choked out. "I'll never hear my Mom's loving voice again as she tells me to be careful... never hear Dad yell at me for slouching again…"

His eyes stung. He closed the wallet, sealing the memory inside.

That's when he heard it — the sound of something being hit. Hard.

A thud. Then another. A stifled cry.

He leaned around the alley's corner.

A group of five men were beating a small boy. Kicking. Laughing. One of them held a dagger.

"What the hell…" Lucky whispered.

He stepped forward instinctively.

"Hey! Why are you beating up that kid?!"

The men turned to look. Silent for a moment.

Then one sneered. "What's it to you, bastard?"

"Yeah, piss off before we skin you alive."

Lucky clenched his fists. "Leave him alone or you'll face my wrath!"

'Did I seriously just say that out loud...?' he thought. 'God, I sound like such a clown.'

He considered running. But then one of the men muttered:

"That kid's the spawn of the devil. His powers are unnatural."

Lucky blinked. 'Wait… powers?'

The leader spat. "Killing him's the only way to protect this city. We're doing the people a favor by doing this."

He turned to Lucky, eyes cold. "So unless you want to join him in the dirt, I'd suggest—"

' may this is the moment I finally unlock my powers.. Yeah let's do this.. These thugs are not a match for a hero of this world'

Lucky charged ahead intending to strike but before he could-

One thug smashed a fist into his face, knocking him into a wall. Groaning, he staggered to his feet.

"You bastards…"

He charged, barely managing to land a kick and punch another before they overwhelmed him. He fell down to ground as he watched the dagger descend upon the frightened and beaten child.. Right in the face of that child

Again.. nd Again... and Again until..

The child's body crumpled to the ground in a twisted mess of red.

' Oh.. G.. God! These people no..mo.. monsters killed a child in cold blood'

The brutality the child was subjected woukd even unnerve hardened veterans and Lucky was sure he was not one of them.

He couldn't contain in anymore and vomited. The bile burned his throat, but he couldn't stop shaking. He couldn't think straight as the he was overcome with fear. At this point he is utterly terrified of what they would do to him

"Shit… disgusting. Hey! Kill him already — the guards might come!"

The Tears blurred his vision.

'This... this isn't how it was supposed to go. I was the protagonist. I was supposed to help someone and unlock a hidden power...'

"Please…" Lucky sobbed, crawling away, with his eyes wide and terrified, he begged the monsters in human skin"Please don't kill me… I won't tell anyone… I swear…"

The leader chuckled, wagging a finger like a disappointed teacher and looked at Lucky with a cold smile

"Tsk tsk. Should've thought of that earlier. We can't leave witnesses, kid. Reputation, you know?"

He raised the blade and brought it down on Lucky

Lucky ran.

Or tried to — until he collapsed. Something was wrong.

He looked down.

His feet were gone. Cut off at the ankles.

"AAAGHHH!!!"

The man looked at him with with contempt " you have done this to yourdelf.. I was going to kill you in one strike.. But then again it Doesn't matter "

Lucky screamed, dragging himself across the stones blood pooling on the ground through his feet that were cut down,as he desperate tried to get away from there..., only to feel cold steel punch into his back. Looking down he could see A dagger buried deep into his stomach. A muffled scream left his mouth. Blood coming out. Lucky laid on the ground with a broken body..

Lucky slowly felt His vision blurring

"This… is the worst damn isekai ever," he croaked.

Through fading eyes, he looked at the child's lifeless body… and the retreating silhouettes of the monsters who did it.

His eyes became bloodshit and his heart was filled with hatred

"I'll... definitely...

kill… all...

of you..."

Darkness swallowed him whole amd vision has gone black

---

"Hey. Hey, kid. You buying or not?"

A voice called out to him

' why doe it feel familiar'

Bright light.

Lucky's eyes opened.

He was standing in front of a fruit stall .The shopkeeper seemed irritated as he looked at him

"...Huh?"

Lucky felt dread creeping up his heart as he looked at the shopkeeper

' what is going on'
