Matchday – AC Milan U17 vs. Inter Milan U17
September 19, 2021 – Stadio Breda, Sesto San Giovanni
The bus rolled through the gates of Inter territory. Smoke bombs, chanting fans, flares lighting up the streets — not even the first team got this kind of madness for youth matches.
Enzo sat in the back, headphones on, hoodie up. But inside?
A fire raged.
This wasn't just a game.
This was the Derby della Madonnina.
The U17 version had stakes. Scouts would be watching. Coaches. National team reps. Agents.
One name was on the other side of the pitch that stood out to him:
Gabriele Moretti. Inter's U17 captain.
Center-back. 6'2. Fast. Aggressive. Known for breaking attackers mentally before he even touched them.
"He eats flashy kids for breakfast," someone said at training.
Enzo just smiled.
"Good. I'm hungry too."
The Tunnel – Clash of Energy
They stood in the narrow tunnel, inches apart.
Inter's blue and black kits glistened under the stadium lights.
Moretti glanced over at Enzo, then muttered:
"The Alien, huh? I've seen your videos."
Enzo looked up, relaxed.
"Good. Now you'll see them live."
Moretti smirked. "Careful. I like tackling stars."
"Then you'll love chasing shadows."
The whistle blew. War began.
First Half – No Room to Breathe
Inter started with fury.
Pressing high. Tackling harder. Shouting louder.
By minute 10, Enzo had barely touched the ball. Every time he moved, Moretti followed like a ghost — reading, anticipating, roughing him up just enough to throw him off rhythm.
In minute 15, Enzo finally got a clean touch.
He turned… and bam — shoulder-to-shoulder from Moretti. Sent to the turf.
The ref? Silent.
Enzo stood up with a bloody lip and a grin.
"You'll have to do better than that."
But it was working — Inter dominated the half. Their striker buried a rebound in the 34th minute.
1–0 Inter.
Halftime.
Halftime – The Fire Awakens
Coach Baldini was furious in the dressing room.
"We play like we're scared, we lose. Enzo—"
He looked right at him.
"I know he's on you like a shadow. But you want to be different? Be different. Find the space. Hurt him where it matters — not with words, with magic."
Enzo nodded, eyes burning.
He wasn't just going to respond.
He was going to dance.
Second Half – The Spark
Minute 55.
AC Milan started to grow into the game. Passes became sharper. Movement, quicker.
Then… minute 58.
Enzo dropped deep. Moretti followed.
That's when it happened.
One quick glance — a flick behind the standing leg. Enzo let the ball run across his body, spun 180°, and accelerated past Moretti.
"Ohhh!" the crowd roared.
Now Enzo was in space. He sprinted up the left, dipped his shoulder, cut inside past another, and curled in a beauty.
The shot clipped the post.
So close.
But now the game had changed.
Minute 68 – Redemption
A quick switch. Right-back Deluchi lofted the ball across to the left flank.
Enzo brought it down on the run, feinted left, drove right, and cut into the box.
Moretti slid in recklessly.
Too late.
The ball was gone. Enzo hit the turf.
PENALTY!
Moretti screamed at the ref. The stadium erupted.
Enzo stood calmly, took the ball.
"You want me to take it?" asked Lorenzo.
Enzo didn't respond.
He just walked up… and smashed the penalty into the top left corner.
GOAL. 1–1.
He ran to the corner flag, arms wide, finger to his lips.
"Shhhhhh."
Even Moretti smiled — a smirk of respect.
The Final 10 Minutes – The Last Word
The game opened up. Both teams hunted the winner.
Minute 87. Milan countered.
Valente broke through the middle, slid a pass to Enzo on the left. He was one-on-one.
Moretti again.
But this time…
Enzo slowed down. Waited.
Then boom — a body feint, a lightning quick nutmeg, and he was gone.
He looked up, squared it to Cattaneo — GOAL.
2–1 AC Milan.
Game. Over.
Aftermath
Enzo collapsed on the pitch, arms spread wide, soaked in sweat and glory.
Coach Baldini lifted him up.
"Now that," he said, "was Milan blood."
Moretti walked over, shook his hand.
"You're not just hype. You're hell. See you next round."
Enzo smiled.
"Tell your keeper I'm coming next time too."
Outside the Stadium
A photographer caught him walking alone, boots in hand, jersey over his shoulder.
By midnight, the photo was viral.
"The Alien walks alone, but never unnoticed."
