Chapter 2 - Chapter 2 – Transmigrator

"I need to gather all the necessary items for the ritual," Hanrry whispered, his eyes focused as he flipped through his old notebook, filled with hurried script and enigmatic symbols. Each page detailed an endless list of exotic ingredients and rare materials mentioned in the ancient book he had found in the ruins. It was the key to unlocking a secret hidden for centuries – a ritual capable of summoning a god from a lost dimension.

Time passed like a blur of hope and dedication. For nearly three years, he immersed himself in a relentless quest, traveling to remote regions, scouring secret markets, consulting reclusive scholars, and acquiring every item the ritual demanded. From herbs that grew only on the darkest peaks to crystals imbued with ancestral energy, everything was meticulously stored in that modest, unassuming room.

"According to the book, the ritual will invoke a god from a dimension called Karrash, who can grant any wish of the summoner," he murmured, voice trembling with both anxiety and reverence. "I've tried similar rituals before, and they didn't go very well… But who knows? Maybe today's the day."

It was a blend of skeptical faith and desperate hope. For Hanrry, the inexplicable became a frontier to cross. It didn't matter if the ritual was divine or diabolical – what mattered was the truth, whatever it might be.

With steady hands, he began tracing the ritual circle on the cold stone floor. The drawing resembled a pentagram but darker, more ancient—as if forged by the shadows of time itself. An aura seemed to flow from its lines, an invitation to the unknown. But Hanrry didn't mind its sinister appearance. If a malicious entity wanted to harm him, it would be impossible to defend anyway. So why fear what he couldn't control?

With everything prepared, Hanrry took a deep breath and began reciting the incantation, each word charged with the energy of that sacred moment:

"Guardian of light and darkness, being of infinite wisdom, I, Hanrry, call you as my invocation. Come forth and fulfill my ambitions, I summon you from your rest."

The last word echoed through the silent room, and the magic circle started to emit an intense golden glow, a radiant light spreading across the walls, illuminating every detail, every shadow. The floor trembled slightly, and an electric sensation filled the air as if two worlds were about to touch.

"What… what is happening? I wa…" Hanrry tried to finish his phrase, but his vision blurred. His body grew light, as if he were floating. In an instant, he collapsed unconscious to the ground, while a black shadow, as dense as a starless night, enveloped him. It was a tangible, immensely powerful presence, seeming to consume him like a black hole, swallowing his essence beyond human comprehension.

The room shook once more. The ritual was no mere fantasy of ancient texts—it had unleashed something real, something that would forever alter Hanrry's path and perhaps the fate of all connected worlds.

When Hanrry opened his eyes again, he found himself immersed in an entirely different reality from the familiar darkness of his study room. Around him, medieval-style houses stood as silent witnesses of a time lost to his own history. The streets were paved with uneven stones, worn by millennia of footfalls, and strange human figures hurried past, dressed in garments seemingly torn from an ancient tale.

Confusion overwhelmed his mind. "Where am I? What happened? Wasn't I performing the ritual?" he thought, trying to piece together the fragments of his memory, but images blurred and sounds around him seemed distant.

Lifting his gaze, his eyes met the sky. Then, they filled with intense light. A woman glided softly through the air, floating gracefully above him, her long hair dancing in the breeze and a mysterious aura that seemed to touch the very clouds.

A flash of understanding echoed inside him. "I'm in another world. I was right!" Hanrry shouted, a mix of ecstasy, disbelief, and triumph bursting from his voice.

Unable to contain his joy, he raised his arms and let out a cry in the middle of the busy street. The sound echoed through the narrow alleys; his heart pounded rapidly, adrenaline sweeping through his body like a storm.

Passersby stopped, their curious and suspicious eyes directed at the strange man — his disheveled appearance, his outburst, and his expression blending relief and awe caused a stir of unfamiliarity in that unknown land.

But none of it mattered to Hanrry. He had crossed the boundaries of knowledge, entered a domain many had only imagined. This was the chance of a lifetime—the opportunity to unravel the true secrets of the universe, to explore the truth behind creation and existence.

His eyes shone with determination. He knew his journey had only begun, and dangers and wonders awaited him in that strange land.
