Chapter 1 - Bloodline Reckoning : Revenge Isn’t Personal—It’s Blood.

The city of Kharzan groaned under the weight of corruption. Neon lights flickered through smog-choked alleys while sirens wailed in the distance. But in one corner of this broken world, Mark Rydell stood still — not as a soldier, not as a fugitive — but as a man with only one mission left:

End Viktor Kaine.

Ten years ago, Kaine had led a covert mission known as "Scorch Hammer" — a black operation meant to eliminate a rogue warlord. But when things went south, Mark's brother Jason, a young recon operative, was used as a pawn. He was executed, blamed for the failure. His name was erased. His honor buried.

But Mark remembered.

And Kaine… was still alive.

Mark lit a cigarette on the rooftop of a tenement building, rain dripping from his soaked leather jacket. The world thought Kaine had disappeared. But Mark had tracked him for years — through African warzones, Russian bunkers, and corporate shadows. And now, Kaine was building something again.

Codename: Widowmaker.Target: Six major capitals.Payload: EMPs and engineered viruses.Outcome: Global chaos.Signature: V. Kaine.

Mark hit the weapons locker hard. Twin knives. One suppressed pistol. A compact SMG. Explosives. And the most deadly weapon of all — his hands. Trained in close-quarters combat, Mark was a living weapon. But this time, it wasn't about strategy. It was personal. Blood personal.

He met with his only ally — Nina Voss, a rogue CIA analyst turned whistleblower. They spoke in code, but the fire between them burned like truth.

"He's operating out of Verta Range. A fortress dug into the mountain," Nina said."You coming with me?""You're not the only one he burned.""Then let's set the world on fire."

The Infiltration

Kaine's fortress was surrounded by landmines, drones, and mercenaries. But none of that stopped Mark. He slipped through the defenses like a phantom. One by one, guards dropped — choked out, limbs broken, silent deaths. In the darkness, Mark moved like a blade.

He found the command center — where plans of Operation Widowmaker were spread out on a digital table. Timers. Targets. The first strike was just days away.

And standing behind that glowing screen…

Viktor Kaine.

Gray hair. Ruthless eyes. Battle-worn skin. He turned slowly, as if expecting Mark all along.

"Rydell," Kaine said with a smile."This is for Jason," Mark growled."Jason was weak. He begged.""So will you."

The Fight

The battle exploded like thunder in a steel tomb.

Mark struck first — a flying knee to Kaine's chest. Kaine countered with a brutal headbutt. Fists slammed into ribs. Blades scraped flesh. They moved through the war room like animals — smashing into consoles, windows, and steel doors.

Kaine was stronger. Mark was faster. But this wasn't about strength or speed — it was about pain.Years of guilt. Anger. Rage. Loss.Mark had all of it.And now he used it.

Blood soaked the floor. Kaine landed a punch that shattered Mark's nose. But Mark countered with a move Jason once taught him — a brutal downward elbow to the collarbone, cracking it.

Kaine screamed.Mark didn't stop.

The Reckoning

Kaine staggered backward, bleeding, defeated. He tried to reach for a detonator — but Mark kicked it across the room.

"You die slow," Mark whispered, placing a knife at Kaine's throat."The world will burn anyway…" Kaine coughed."Let it," Mark said. "But you won't see it."

With one clean strike, Mark ended him.

The ghost was gone.

The Escape

Explosions rocked the fortress as Nina triggered the failsafe. She met Mark at the extraction point in a snowstorm. Helicopters approached. Lights lit up the sky. But the fire in Mark's heart was already out.

Jason's memory was honored.Kaine was dead. But peace? That was for someone else.

"What now?" Nina asked."I disappear," Mark replied."You'll be hunted.""They'll bleed trying."

He vanished into the night as the fortress collapsed behind him, flames consuming the empire of a tyrant.

Epilogue

In a distant safehouse, Mark stared at an old photo: him and Jason, laughing on a beach. He tucked it into his coat and walked away, one step at a time, into whatever war would come next.

Because revenge isn't personal—It's blood.
