Akeno was pretty frustrated, but there wasn't much she could do. Still, it was something, since she had won a prize.
Takumi:
[It really doesn't boost you that much.]
[But if it comes with built-in calculation ability, that should be nice.]
[It'll let you control lightning with more precision!]
For Akeno, who could already manipulate lightning, getting Railgun wasn't a huge deal. At best, it would let her use her power more delicately.
Akeno:
[Yeah, it's true. Not much impact.]
Just as Takumi said, it didn't matter that much.
Takumi:
[Doesn't matter—you still made a profit! Think about everyone else. Most people haven't even gotten a single item! Someone only got Balenciaga and won't even model it for me!]
You've got to relax. Think of that one person—been in the group for ages, checked in for so long, and the only thing they got, they won't even show the group. You're way ahead of them.
Chika Fujiwara:
[(?へ?╬)]
[I want to punch you, you giant sp!!]
Just read out my ID, why don't you. That sp is just too much!
Takumi:
[Babe… it's late. Wanna hang out?]
Chika Fujiwara:
[No! Go away!!]
[I'm going to bed!!]
Angrily, Chika shut down the chat group and ignored Takumi. She yanked her covers up—forget everyone. Still, she couldn't resist peeking at the group chat now and then.
Takumi:
[That's enough already. This woman took my superpower potion at the start, and now she won't even model Balenciaga for me.]
[True blockhead!!]
Bronya:
[?]
[I got one too!]
Sagiri:
[Me too...]
Himeko:
[Me too!]
Takumi:
[Not you guys.]
[I mean that one with the pink hair.]
Chika Fujiwara:
[Just read my ID already!!]
[(?へ?╬) I knew you were up to no good. No wonder you were giving us so many gifts at the start!]
He really had her wrapped around his finger—she felt totally taken in. Now, seeing Takumi's messages in the group, she was more annoyed than ever. What a jerk.
Takumi:
[How can you say that? I really meant to give you those things!]
Chika Fujiwara:
[You're just a bad guy! Hmph!!]
She was so mad she couldn't sleep, so she got back up and started fighting with Takumi in the group chat. That argument kept her up until past two in the morning.
The next day, Chika nearly overslept and ended up with dark circles under her eyes—frustrating! She huffed and rushed off to school. She felt like she'd totally fallen into Takumi's trap. He must've kept her up arguing on purpose!
...
Takumi had no idea what Chika was thinking. For him, sleep didn't matter—he didn't need it anymore. He could sleep if he wanted, but if not, he'd just be fine.
After breakfast made by Akeno, Takumi looked at Ophis.
"Let's go deal with the stuff on Earth, then head to the Dimensional Gap?"
Ophis, who had gotten up early to eat cake, brightened immediately.
"Okay!"
Finally, they were going to the Dimensional Gap. She was all in.
"When you're done, are you coming back, or…?"
Kaguya-hime asked, a little curious.
"Hm, probably not. Once I finish cleaning up the exe leftovers here, I'll take Gabriel and the angels and leave."
Takumi really wasn't planning to return. He'd put Gabriel and the angels into imaginary space and head for the exe world—finish things there and head home. No way was he making a return trip.
"Alright, I'll head back too, then."
Since that was the plan, Kaguya didn't intend to stick around much longer. She'd go back later.
"No problem. Just go whenever you want. If anything comes up, just shout for me in the group."
They quickly settled their plans.
After breakfast, Takumi got moving. He said his goodbyes to Rias and the others, then took Ophis with him.
First, Takumi and Ophis went to the ocean. By now, Takumi had the world's networks and communications all monitored. That battleship hidden in the deep sea was under his watch, too.
He'd already found that warship ages ago. Now was the time to deal with it.
Anchored deep in the ocean was Dorumado, Rugal Zevah's retainer—lord of the seas, a massive 100-meter marine-mechanical lifeform, on the same level as Great Red. It had created its own subordinates too, each with power on par with gods and demon kings. In this world, that thing was insanely dangerous. If the exe world ever invaded, humanity wouldn't stand a chance.
When Takumi and Ophis arrived, the massive ship—Dorumado—immediately noticed them. Ophis was on their radar, too, as one of this world's powerhouses.
Takumi wasted no time, unleashing the Herrscher of Corruption's authority—hacking in through the internet and taking control in an instant. Dorumado? Great Red level? In just a moment, it became Takumi's puppet, its consciousness erased. With that done, Takumi made it surface.
The massive body began to rise, churning the sea. What was calm became a turbulent swirl, and soon a gigantic metallic warship broke the surface—a living machine. On it were five subordinates, each with demon king to god-level power: the Five Evils, Dorumado's kin.
"Doesn't feel that strong," Ophis said, frowning at the mechanical lifeform. She really couldn't sense much power from it.
Takumi laughed. "That's because they're machines. It's hard even to sense their existence. That's why they could hide for so long without anyone in this world noticing."
