T/N: Some of probably notice i don't edit anything just pure raw translation.

well I'm just lazy hehe. This book didn't have much support for me to care enough to edit it. Maybe I'll tell you all which website I used to translate it. but Please pick a good story before translating—I'm already bored of those translation fics with no solid plot. Or maybe I'm just being biased.

just comment if like to know the site hehe.

---------------

In the early morning of Zaun, Vi rose from her mat, cupped her hands in front of her, and exhaled. Warm breath mixed with the gray haze clung to her palms, and Vi shivered.

Then, dressed in a sports bra, she began to stretch her arms and body. Getting up, she stood before the mirror. Vi first brushed her hair upwards, revealing a delicate and perfect face. Then, she started to style her hair with her hands.

She arranged her red hair to cover her exquisite features, softening her beauty. Finally, Vi carefully put on her nose ring. After doing all this, she looked at the bed not far away.

Little Isa lay on Leo's chest, her head buried in his front, fast asleep. And Powder (Jinx) was curled up, her knees drawn to her stomach, sleeping beside Leo like a cat.

Seeing this, Vi's resentment in her eyes almost materialized.

"Damn it..."

Muttering quietly, Vi tiptoed out of the room, careful not to disturb Powder's sleep.

Of course, if it were only Leo, she might deliberately make some noise to keep him from sleeping well. Leo, that bastard, even lied to me... saying he hadn't done anything even though they sleep in the same bed every day. Ha, who would believe such a thing?

"Vi."

"Sister, how did you sleep yesterday?"

"Sister, who are we going after today?"

Stepping out, Vi saw a group of people waiting for her. Her little bit of resentment immediately vanished, and with a spirited wave of her hand, she announced loudly: "First, to the Hope Community, same as always, patrol, then we'll go to other streets!"

"Yes!"

A group of younger members who formed the Community Enforcers with Vi shouted back.

Manzu was among them, neatly dressed, his face full of smiles.

In recent times, Manzu suddenly felt like he was truly alive.

The attitude of the Hope Community residents towards them had also been constantly improving.

Turns out... being loved and respected by others was truly much better than being feared!

Recently, people in the Hope Community had been calling them Community Enforcers. "Enforcer" was a derogatory term in Zaun, but in the Hope Community, it had become a term of praise.

Manzu could see their sincerity in their expressions, voices, and eyes.

Taking a deep breath, he put on his weapons: a short gun made by Jinx, capable of firing terrifying projectiles, and a staff. Don't underestimate this staff; though it looks simple, it's actually very useful!

It could extend, and if a special button was pressed when needed, it could release smoke and toxic gas, and even be swung to throw flying needles.

He wondered how Jinx's mind even worked... she could just whip up such insidious weapons casually.

Was she really a genius?!

...

"Zeri, I'm telling you again, if you bring up joining some stupid gang or wanting to fight the Chem-Barons with some lame community again, I'm really going to ground you! You should spend this time going to the market to buy some of Maria's chicken for me; her stewed chicken is the best, instead of acting crazy here! Can you stop being crazy all day long?"

"I'm not acting crazy!"

Inside the small house, the girl retorted indignantly, her hands clenched into fists, pounding hard on the sofa beneath her. She exclaimed loudly: "I saw all of that with my own eyes, Grandma! Sea Shark Street has completely transformed! I've been playing there for days!"

"Transformed? Idiot! Don't I know better than you what Zaun is like? That's just a temporary ploy by those in power. Once they fully control the Sea Shark District, that place will end up just like our side!"

"You, ah, I truly can't talk sense into you! Grandma, I don't want to talk to you anymore! You're so annoying!" Zeri yelled, then angrily picked up a windbreaker nearby. She slipped out of the house with a speed imperceptible to most.

Amidst the crackling of electricity, Zeri's grandmother's shouts followed: "Zeri, if you leave this door, don't come back!"

At the market, Zeri walked through the streets, pulling her hood up. She lifted her leg and fiercely kicked a stone with her small leather boot.

"Honestly, I told them I saw it with my own eyes, why don't they believe me?"

"The Chem-Barons are all bastards! Why shouldn't we resist them? We're all victims!"

She muttered to herself as she walked down the street.

But soon, Zeri noticed a few figures following her.

Her eyes flickered, and Zeri turned into a small alley.

Watching Zeri disappear, three masked figures in trench coats walking through the market quickly followed her.

Just after entering the alley and walking about ten meters, rounding a corner, a voice came from behind them.

"Hey, what are you following me for?"

"I say, are you Chem-Baron thugs?"

The girl's voice was behind them. Turning around, they saw a girl whose hat was removed, her hair shimmering like sparks, with electric light crackling and flowing through it.

"Calm down, friend."

Zeri heard the person leading the group say.

"Less talk, just tell me! Why are you following me?"

"Hey, friend, please calm down, we really mean no harm." The leading man raised his hands, trying to soothe Zeri. He wasn't tall but had a sturdy build, though not exaggerated. He wore thick clothes, and his voice was deep and husky.

"We heard you're opposing the Chem-Barons, and you're also inciting this community to resist the Chem-Barons, right?"

"That's correct, but what does that have to do with you approaching me?"

The leading man said in a low voice: "We often come to this community to buy things. My companions heard the news that you want to fight the Chem-Barons, so we specifically investigated you for a while and learned a bit about you. Don't you want to join us and oppose the Chem-Barons? I came specifically to invite you to join us."

"Listen, Zeri, we need partners like you. Everyone who opposes the Chem-Barons and wants to make Zaun better is our partner."

Zeri's eyes instantly lit up, and she became excited. "You, it's you? You came specifically for me? Oh my goodness! I've wanted to join you for so long, you know? A few days ago, when I saw you helping the community's merchants, I was so incredibly excited!"

"I, I want to help too!"

The leading man was stunned and exchanged glances with the people beside him. But they shook their heads; they... seemed not to have understood Zeri's meaning.

But Zeri didn't notice and started screaming to herself.

"Ahhh, this is just great!"

"But, I couldn't convince my family and neighbors. Is that okay?"

"Of course, we need you. You... seem different, right?" The leading man said meaningfully. What had he just witnessed earlier?

This girl didn't use anything, yet electric light surged from her body.

This... wasn't normal.

And Zeri nodded. "Yes, my mom also says I'm different from other kids. I was born with the power to use electricity, see?"

Saying this, she extended a finger towards the wall, and her brownish pupils instantly turned bright orange-yellow as electric light surged around Zeri.

"Zap!"

A thick bolt of electricity, like a wooden stick, struck the wall, leaving a scorched mark.

"This... is truly amazing!" the man exclaimed.

"Right? So, am I one of you now?"

"Of course."

"Ah! This is awesome!" Zeri cheered, clenching her fists and jumping with joy.

Did she finally have an organization?

Finally, someone was willing to fight the Chem-Barons with her!

And, she had seen the situation in that community with her own eyes. Zeri had been running there every day for the past few days, witnessing the changes happening in that community daily.

The smiles on people's faces wouldn't lie!

Seeing Zeri so happy, the leading boy also smiled, his voice becoming gentle and no longer husky, as if he had dropped his disguise. He said with a laugh: "Then, formally welcome to the Wild..."

"Now that I've joined the Lotus Flower Gang, does that mean I can go on patrol with you? Do I need to draw your symbol on my clothes? I can do it!" Zeri suddenly said, interrupting what the man was about to say.

"Huh?"

His brain crashed. He looked at her, his eyes bewildered.
