Chapter 21 - Author’s Note

I've always loved the old Japanese myth—the one about red threads tying two souls together. That idea stayed with me while writing this story.

The first line—

"They say some souls are tied together by red strings. But if mine ever had one, it must've snapped long ago."

—wasn't just an opening. It reflected how the character felt: disconnected, distant, and quietly convinced that love or fate had passed him by.

By the end, I wanted to bring that feeling full circle. So I ended with—

"Maybe the string wasn't broken after all—just waiting for the right hands to find the ends and tie them back together."

It's about healing, and how sometimes love comes in soft, slow ways that feel like being gently rewoven.

This story didn't need big twists. I wanted it to feel like a quiet breath—something soft, a little fluffy, and slow-burning.

But if it made you feel even a little bit warm, or a little less alone, then I'm grateful.

Thankyou~
