Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: The Two-Faced Sukuna!

As the system's voice faded, Arata Renji felt a sharp, burning pain surge through his eyes.

"Damn it… ahh—"

Clutching his face, he staggered into a chair, sweat beading on his forehead.

Pain! It hurt like hell!

It was like needles driving into his eyeballs, burning as if someone had set his sockets on fire.

But when he thought about the Uchiha clan's pain when awakening the Sharingan in those manga memories, he figured this wasn't too bad by comparison.

"Oi! What's wrong with you?"

Gojo Satoru swiftly tied on his blindfold again, wondering if his Six Eyes had somehow overloaded the boy's cursed energy.

Arata waved him off despite the searing sensation, forcing a strained smile. "I'm fine… just some reaction…"

Minutes later, Arata stood before a mirror, grinning in satisfaction.

His eyes—once plain black—now shimmered scarlet, glinting with sadness and mystery. Three tomoe rotated slowly, evolving instantly into an intricate kaleidoscope pattern.

A gear-shaped design, reminiscent of Obito Uchiha's Mangekyō Sharingan, emerged—mysterious and divine.

Divine Power—Kamui... in this world of curses?

Arata blinked. The flow of residual cursed energy in the room lit up like stardust in his vision; every sand grain's trace, every cursed fluctuation was laid bare before him.

He stared at the distant water cup and focused slightly.

Twist.

The cup's center warped, crumpled... and vanished into a swirling void.

Handsome and terrifying. This was Mangekyō Sharingan-level Kamui—fully awakened.

With a thought, he summoned his status panel.

[Ability: Divine Power - Kamui]

Left Eye (Attack): Distorts space in the targeted area. Can erase matter or redirect objects into the void.

Right Eye (Defense): Can phase the user or external objects into a personal dimensional space, avoiding all damage.

Note: After reaching the Eternal Mangekyō state, usage side effects will disappear.

Both offense and defense—absolute perfection.

If he used this well... he could snap a cursed spirit's neck from afar or imprison someone in Kamui's dimension until they starved.

But still... he needed the Eternal Mangekyō upgrade. He didn't want to risk blindness after excessive use.

And perhaps due to his unique isekai-transmigrator body, his cursed energy and chakra-like power flowed together effortlessly.

That meant... both Jujutsu and Ninjutsu were his to command!

"Whoa! What technique is that? Super cool!"

Gojo Satoru flashed beside him, eyes bright with curiosity—he'd found a real treasure.

Arata closed his eyes, dispersing the Mangekyō, and his pupils returned to normal. "Just awakened. Maybe thanks to your Six Eyes stimulating something in me?"

Gojo waved dismissively. "No way my eyes could trigger someone's innate technique. This... this is your own talent."

He paused, smirking beneath his blindfold. "Looks like Jujutsu High's about to get itself another monster."

"Let's go, Gojo-sensei. I'll be in your care."

"Same here, Arata-kun. Heh, this year's students are going to be interesting."

Gojo chuckled, resting a hand on Arata's shoulder. "We've got an urgent call. Your upperclassmen are in trouble."

Is it already Yuji's incident?

Arata felt his heart race as Gojo grabbed him and leapt high above the cityscape.

Wind howled past as they moved with terrifying speed. But thanks to the Mangekyō, Arata's vision kept up with every detail: rooftops, antennas, alley cats.

Seeing this, Gojo smirked behind his blindfold.

Not bad... this kid might actually surpass the special grade ceiling. Could he become the next Gojo? Or something worse... like a sorcerer-slaying king?

"Sensei," Arata shouted, "Kikufuku! I'm starving!"

Gojo groaned dramatically. "Fine. But only one. Kikufuku's not cheap, y'know…"

Meanwhile at Sugisawa Third High School…

Crash!

Glass shattered as Itadori Yuji delivered a flying kick to the cursed spirit, saving a Spiritual Research Club senpai from certain death.

"Senpai, are you okay?!"

"Didn't I tell you not to come?!"

Fushiguro Megumi's voice snapped from down the hall, panic on his face as his shadow technique flared.

"Divine Dogs—go!"

Twin shikigami, black and white, leapt forth, charging the warped cursed spirit with fangs bared.

Yuji gently set the senpai down, eyeing the grotesque beast. "So this is what a cursed spirit looks like... huh. Looks way nastier in real life."

Boom!

Megumi's attack shattered the spirit into chunks. His Divine Dogs pounced eagerly to devour the remains.

"You idiot," Megumi muttered, hands in pockets. "That was reckless. Brave... but dumb. You're not afraid?"

Yuji gave a bitter smile. "I was scared... but my grandpa's death made something clear: if I can stop someone from dying unfairly, I will."

He glanced at the severed, rotten finger slipping from the senpai's sleeve.

Ryomen Sukuna's finger.

"If I hadn't brought this back, none of this would've happened. This is my fault…"

"Stop. No one's dead yet." Megumi reached out. "Give it to me. Special-grade cursed object. If a spirit eats this, we're done for."

Yuji handed it over—hesitantly.

But then...

Vrrrrrmmmm...!

A black vortex tore open in the ceiling.

A monstrous hand burst out—aiming for Sukuna's finger.

"RUN!" Megumi shouted.

Crash!

A towering spirit of stitched corpses slammed into the floor—lizard-like, reptilian, oozing menace. Its cursed energy shook the building to its foundations.

Yuji was hurled away. Megumi struck the second-floor balcony, coughing blood—barely conscious.

The spirit surged forward—fangs bared—seeking to devour him.

Yuji gritted his teeth, leaping atop the beast to punch wildly.

"Spells... you can't beat this without Jujutsu!" Megumi gasped. "You'll die—run!"

But Yuji refused.

If he fled, Megumi would die for sure.

Trapped in the monster's grip, his organs crushed, he raised Sukuna's finger to his lips.

Eat it. Gain power. Survive.

"Isn't this what you meant, Fushiguro?!"

"NO—!!" Megumi screamed.

Yuji swallowed the finger whole.

"…It's over…" Megumi whispered in despair.

Outside the school...

Arata frowned. "So that's the scene, huh? Looks more intense than the manga."

Before him spun the ominous black curtain—blocking out the outside world.

"Remember this technique," Gojo said lazily. "You'll see it a lot during missions."

But Arata barely heard him.

His system voice chimed again:
