In a dark and abandoned manor far way from any populated areas, a man who is in his early twenties woke up with a gasp. He jumped from the bed and looked around in confusion. Where was he? He looked confused. A dark room with a dirty bed and worst, he is lying on it until now.
' Am I kidnapped? Nah, what am I thinking? I'm a nobody and orphan at that. Why would someone kidnap me? ', the man thought. He suddenly felt something wrong and looking down he found a cross hanging on his neck. He frowned, somehow this thing gave him a very uneasy feeling. He took it out and placed it on the nearby table. But something caught his eye, a newspaper with the news that Tony Stark is going receive this year's Apogee ward. He felt absurd and laughed at the outrageous deceiving of his kidnapper.
Just then a ding sound made him alert. Looking forward he saw system prompt floating in front of him and he gulped. He has an idea what this is, especially after so many novels and getting frustrated by Chinese antics, idioms and whatever they brag about. And now he seems to be in a situation exactly like the novel.

He looked at himself in disbelief, he is really a demon. So what's gonna happen to him now. And what does the system means by losing his mind. As he is thinking, the quests popped up. He received two of them. He completed one already. The insight skill intrigued him. But it's level is too low and it's providing names only for now.

' this is bad ', Damian thought. A demon lying unconscious on bed with an exorcist cross around his neck means only one thing. ' I'm fucked ', Damian thought. He wanted to leave the room. But he heard sounds from outside suddenly.
Peaking from the hole, he noticed they're doing some kind of ritual. But what made him surprised isn't the ritual itself. It's the priests and the gear they're wearing.

An ominous ritual circle is there. And the ultimate sacrifice is himself in this ritual. It's to call upon a high ranking demon. This is the demon cult that worships satan and other hell lords. Damian clenched his fists in anger. He is in the base of a demon cult and he is going to die in a few hours.

' now we're talking ', Damian looked around and made a plan in a few minutes. He rearranged few things in his room. When he touched the holy cross, a window popped up.

' just for this holy item alone I received a 5% star debuff ', Damian looked in disbelief. And another window popped up.

Damian let go of the cross. He lay on bed and made a sound. When the priests and members of the cult arrived. John Aaron and Pattrick are caught in the bear tras arranged in front of the door. Damian suddenly rose to his feet and fired a dark bolt towards fred who is caught off gaurd. Fred narrowly dodged it by ducking and jumping to the side.
Damian smirked as another bear trap caught Fred's leg. Damian fired dark bolt again which sent Fred flying to the wall. A small decay formed where the dark bolt hit Fred. Damian fired the same dark bolt towards James and Patrick who screamed as they felt the decay. Damian saw Fred enduring the pain and trying to take his pistol.
Damian immediately fired another dark bolt towards Fred knocking him down. But then James and Patrick moved towards him. One held the demonic dagger and another held a bottle of holy water. Damian crouched and pulled the carpet which made them fall down. Damian took the demonic dagger and threw it into his inventory.
Pattrick tried to throw the holy water at him. Damian though hurled a dark bolt at Pattrick which broke the jar in Pattrick's hand. Pattrick screamed in pain while Damian fired a dark bolt at James in close range which not only knocked himd ow but also inflicted him with the decay.
Damian then punched Pattrick on his face and knocked him down too with the same dark bolt. Ignoring the unconscious priests. He simply walked away from there. Though he clutched his side to see there is blood. One of the bullets managed to graze his left side and he is bleeding. Though the skin slowly started healing it'll take hours for the wounds to disappear. Well thanks for the Regeneration at least.
