Ruby Mitchell's POV
"Ruby wake up!!"-I heard my brother shout from outside my room.
"Give me 5 minutes!! I'm still sleepy!!"-I shouted and wrapped my blanket around me again.
"If you won't get up I'll take away your video games and phone!! Not because mom and dad aren't here you'll just do what you want!"-He scolded me
"Go wake Harry and Jayden! Stop bothering me!"-I shouted again and made sure my door is locked...
"Fine 5 minutes. That's it."-He just said and left. The princess always wins. What do you expect of the only princess of the family?
I'll just introduce myself later when I wake up again. I'm sleepy.
*5 minutes later
"That was a good sleep. Although someone disturbed me."-I said to myself while stretching.
Btw I'm Ruby Mitchell the only daughter of the Mitchell family. I have 3 brothers. 2 younger ones and an older one. The one who woke me up earlier is my older brother. The one who's responsible for us while our parents are gone. I'm 18 years old and I'm currently on my last year of highschool. Then I'll start college. My family is well known in Jacksonville and also here in Beverly hills.
"Ruby are you awake? Get ready now or you'll be late for school. Hurry up."-My brother said while knocking on my door.
"Coming!"-I just said and went to my bathroom to take a shower and get ready.
Why do we start school this early? Can't we start at 9 am? So I can sleep more? Why do we have to start at 7 am?
After taking a shower I just dried my hair and fix it. I also put a little bit of make up.
"Finally you're done. Eat your breakfast then after that we can leave to go to your school. And please don't cause any troubles. Specially you Ruby and Harry. Set a good example to Jayden."-My older brother said. He's Andre Mitchell the eldest son of Mitchell family he's 10 years older than me. And my 2 younger brothers are. Harry Mitchell and Jayden Mitchell. Harry is a year younger than me while Jayden is 3 years younger than me.
"Yeah yeah. Whatever. As if we're not trouble enough. Just to remind you we're from a family of Mafias. Causing trouble is in our blood."-Harry answered him
"None of the people in your school know that you're from a family of Mafias. So it's either you'll behave or you can say bye to your gadgets, videogames and allowance."-Andre said and answered his phone because it's ringing.
"I bet it's one of his underlings telling him they found out somethings that are useful for them."-I told my brothers
"How much will you bet? I bet there's a problem."-Harry said
"I bet it's his secretary telling him there's a sudden board meeting."-Jayden said
"I bet 10K."-Harry said
"I bet 15K."-Jayden said
"I bet 15K."-I said too.
"Ok then let's see."-Harry said and finished his foods.
"I'm done. I'll just go brush my teeth."-I told them and headed to my room to brush my teeth and get my bag and books. After making sure my teeth are clean and that I have everything I need I took a look at the mirror one last time and headed downstairs where I brothers are waiting for me.
"I won't be able to pick you guys up later because one of my underlings found out somethings that are useful for us."-Andre said so I looked at my younger brothers and smirked.
"Why are you looking at each other?"-Andre asked us.
"Nothing. Something just came into my mind. Btw can I go out with my friends later?"-I asked Andre for permission.
"Sure but you must come back at 10 pm no late night out with friends."-Andre said so I nodded.
"Yeah yeah. I know. Let's go now or we'll be late."-I just said and went inside the car.
The ride was silent because no one dared to talk.
"Are we just gonna be silent the whole ride? At least put some music. I'm gonna be crazy because of the silence."-I broke the silence.
"Did you do your assignment? I don't want to be called by your teacher because you didn't pass your assignment."-Andre asked
"I did last night. Why do you think I slept late?"-I said and closed my eyes
"What about you Harry and Jayden?"-I asked my younger brothers.
"I did them. I always do my assignments."-Jayden answered and took out his phone.
"I did some but there are other subjects that I don't understand so I'll just ask the teacher to explain it again."-Harry answered
"Make sure to ask and to take notes. Anyways we're here. Harry and Jayden head straight home after school. Ruby don't stay out so late."-Andre said so we went out of the car.
"AHHHHH!! Harry is so handsome."-I heard the girls scream
"Jayden is so cute and handsome."-More girls started screaming
"Bro Ruby is so beautiful. She's like a goddess."-I heard boys say so I looked at them and winked.
"Rubyyyy!!"-I heard my friends shout so I run to them.
"What did your brother say? Did he let you come with us?"-Margaret asked
"Yeah he said that I can go out with you girls but I need to be home by 10 pm."-I answered them and we all cheered.
"Ruby! We're going to our class."-Harry said so I nodded.
"Don't forget to ask your teacher the things you don't understand."-I told him and he just raised his thumb up.
"Have you heard the news?"-Keisha asked
"What news?"-Tamika asked
"Last night some students were found in an underground fight but they escaped. One of them even dropped his uniform and it has our school's logo."-Keisha answered
"I heard about that."-Margaret answered too
"I also heard that they beaten up a gang and now those gang are in the hospital."-Margaret added.
"Let's change topic. Did you guys do our assignments?"-I asked them
"We have assignments?"-Keisha asked
"Well yeah. The ones that were given last week."-I told them
"Isn't it due next week?"-Tamika asked
"Is it?"-I asked back
"Yeah."-They all answered
"Well then. I already done them. So I'm free..."-I told them and started walking to go to our classroom.
"Can we copy?"-Tamika asked
"You can do it by yourselves. Don't copy my assignment."-I told them and started running.
"Hey wait up!!"-They shouted and they also started running.
After running for almost 10 minutes we finally arrived to our class.
"Wow the 4 of you almost didn't make it on time. Go and take your seats. Today we'll have a surprise quiz. I want to see only a em,a pencil and an eraser. And do me a favor. Don't copy from the others."-Our teacher said so I took out my pen and pencil.
"I'll give you an hour to do your quiz. Then I'll check them and grade it. After that you'll have vacant because we teachers have meetings today. You'll have 2 hours vacant. You're allowed to roam around the school mo one can go out of school. If you guys go out of school then you'll be directly sent to the principal's office. Ok you may now start."-Our teacher explained so we all cheered.
2 hours vacant? It's gonna be so much fun.
The classroom fell silent and everyone focused on their papers. No one wants to get a low grade here. Like who would want to get a low grade? That would be an embarrassment for our class. Since we're the highest section. One mistake can ruin our title of the perfect class. That's why everyone's careful. We all do things that we shouldn't but we're careful to not get caught.
Luckily my friends and I never got caught sneaking out of school whenever we have 2 hours of vacant or more. Even during breaktime we would sneak out to go and fight with other students.
"Ma'am I'm done."-I told our teacher and passed my paper.
Then one after another my friends passed theirs too. Then one classmates. Our teacher them checked our quizzes and scored them...
"Let's sneak out. A gang is challenging us."-Keisha said so we looked at each other and nodded.
"Alright I'll give you back your papers so you can see your scores and your mistakes."-Our teacher said and gave us back our papers.
"What did you get?"-Tamika asked
"97. What abot you girls?"-I told them
"90."-Keisha said
"93."-Margaret said and showed her paper.
"95."-Tamika said and showed her paper too.
"Alright you guys are now free."-Our teacher said and left we just waited for her to be far so we can go to the garden to sneak out. We have a secret place there where we can get our of school.
"Alright let's do this."-I told them and jumped to climb the wall and get out of school.
"Where are they?"-I asked Keisha so she checked her phone and showed me the address.
"Isn't that the place where the Black Dragons always have fights? Why would those girls challenge us and tell us to go there? No one is literally allowed to go there."-Margaret said
"Black Dragons only go to that place at night."-Tamika answered
"Let's just go and make it quick."-I told them and took out my motor key. I bought a motor without Andre knowing. Well actually my friends and I. We bought motors without our family knowing it.
*20 minutes later*
After 20 minutes we finally arrived to our destination. We just parked our motors and changed our clothes. We also wore our masks.
"Remember. We need to make it quick."-I reminded my friends.
"Got it."-They just answered so we run to go inside the tunnel. Where gang fights happen.
"We didn't know you'll be coming as soon as you finish school. What are you waiting for? Attack!!"-The leader of the gang who challenged us said and the fight started.
"Watch out!!"-Tamika said and kicked the guy who attacked me. The girls are already defeated. And this gang prepared back ups but they're all boys.
"You're fighting unfairly. This is girls Vs girls. Not girls Vs boys."-I told them and kicked the guy who was gonna attack me but I didn't expect that someone was gonna sneak an attack on me...
"Fight fairly. Don't be a coward. Are you scared I'll defeat you?"-I challenged the leader.
She then signaled the boys to stop and approached me. She then punched me that caused my jaw to hurt so bad.
"You will pay for this!"-I shouted and punched her back. Until I was satisfied. They're all bleeding now.
"Let's go. We need to go."-I told my friends and started walking to go back to our motor and go back to school.
We just rode our motors until we reached our destination. The back of our school.
"Let's clean up first and cover this bruises."-Tamika said so we change your clothes back to our uniform and cleaned our faces. We also put some foundation on to cover our bruises.
After making sure that no other traves of fights we're left we climbed the walls again and went to the cafeteria to get something to eat because we're hungry...
I hope my brothers won't notice anything when I get home. If they discovered that I went into a fight they'll scold me. Specially Andre. He's the worst. I really hope he won't know this.
