time passed quickly and the UA entrance exam was soon. I had discovered a few things about my power that were worth mentioning. one was that for equipment i could use any compatible weapon for my abilities. Going back to Ashe that meant that I could use her abilities with any full sized bow, I had tried keeping smaller portable tools to see if that would work but it had led to no luck, so no using a hatchet to substitute Darius' battle-axe. Magic characters also didn't seem to need any kind of equipment. I suppose that made sense with no actual magical staff or mana in this world. Though for characters like Lux and LeBlanc were significantly easier to use with staffs, though even a reasonably large stick seemed to suffice. More testing was required to discover what type of materials and sizes led to the best efficiency.
Right now though, school was letting out. News was all over about Mt. Lady's debut, didn't that mean that the weird slime guy would attack somewhere today. best not to track it down, after all wasn't that moment important for green hair to get his quirk. Still, I intended to get into UA, so seeing my future classmates wouldn't hurt.

I sighed and headed towards a small gas station to purchase some cards, best to be prepared after all.
I used Twisted Fates ultimate to track down green hair, the ability was simpler to use than I thought it would be. Rather than giving me vision of every 'enemy' I had, I simply had to envision the face of my target the throw a card, a vision of them would appear in my eye and id know their general location. The farther a target from me the less distinct the vision and less precise the location. I could also teleport though much like the animation in game it took nearly the entire deck of cards and that was ridiculous if not necessary, though hopefully id be able to train the ability to needing only one card like in the cinematics.
green hair was currently flying through the air clinging to All Might. it was a bit dizzying to experience though, like viewing one thing through one eye while seeing normally through my other. on top of that the view followed my target, and having one part of your brain convinced you were flying through the air at a hundred miles an hour while standing still was nauseating. I refocused, the loud one was involved right? I cast another card and a vision of Bakugo appeared. I focused on him and began my way there.
I took my watch on a rooftop nearby, pulling a set of binoculars from my bag I began humming the tune my mother always did. Today I see my classmates and All Might if all went well, if they didn't though I was prepared to interfere. Green hair was supposed to bear All Might's quirk right? something something, evil bad guy whos been battling the wielder of One for All for generations cause bad man steal quirks.
An explosion alerted me that the action had already started. taking a look it seemed that the show really didn't do Bakugo justice. The shockwaves could be felt even from my perch across the street, and the flash from the explosions were blinding, maybe that's why my previous streaming service had automatically dimmed when things happened. After all dozens of lawsuits for eye retina damage would have been hard to deal with.
Tree dude arrived, Mt. Lady failed to get there, and hero's continued to fruitlessly stand around and do nothing to help him. people were saved while Bakugo suffocated. I twirled a card between my fingers as it flashed gold, then I saw it. Green hairs rather pathetic run to the front, All Mights internal debate before he leaped into the fight. I sighed as I watched, the obvious blood gushing from his mouth, it was a wonder no one noticed. I stood and headed home, the show was over and my classmates had shown what they were capable of. this also stood as a stern wake up call, the powers were stronger than what i had originally thought, I could remember Bakugo blasting people point blank in the anime and them just carrying on with not much more than a limp. yet I already knew if i took a blast like that without having a tankier champion then id likely implode.
I walked in the front door at that, father was already home giving his usual enthusiastic wave as I entered. after a wonderful meal I headed to bed, maybe id go by the beach tomorrow and pop in. while things were supposed to go the right way I couldn't trust random acts of chance to run things from here on out. So id have to 'accidentally' stumble onto All Mights secret or claim to have seen it as part of my quirk, that way I was at least a little more likely to be in the loop. I had to be more careful with what id seen, but I planned on doing what I could to make sure things went the right way.
