Chapter 11 - Lies Behind The Event

In the blink of an eye, a massive number of humans came online—far more than the expected 5 million. It reached 50 million people.

Players were assigned to every continent. There were 10 continents, each with 5 million people. I looked at my body, but this time, I wasn't Mr. Goblin, and all humans were synchronized with their real-life bodies.

Welcome to Wisdom of Qurt]

A notification appeared in the message section.

[Event Complete]

Reward: 1 million coins have been transferred to your inventory.

"WHOOOOOAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!"

Everyone screamed in excitement. They jumped around because now, no one needed to work to pay off their loans. They didn't have to worry about money—with this wealth, they could just enjoy life.

But it was all a lie...

Shin opened his inventory, selected a black cloak, and clicked the "Use" button. Instantly, it appeared on his body.

Without waiting any longer, Shin walked out of town. He had been placed on the Continent of Krusia. As he left the scene, his final words were:

"Welcome to hell..."

Ding!

A sexy girl in a bunny outfit appeared in the air, holding a microphone.

"Test... test... test..."

The other continents could also see her, as a giant screen popped up in the middle of their towns.

"Hello, everybody! My name is Catty, the advisor from the god of this world. How do you like your reward? Are you happy?"

The crowd cheered wildly.

"THIS IS AWESOME!!!"

She looked at them with a sweet smile—before it twisted into something terrifying.

"Now, the price for the prize is... none of you can log out of this game. From now on, all of you will be real humans in this world."

The logout button disappeared from everyone's screens.

Someone screamed in panic.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THIS?!"

Shhhhhh...."

She raised her hand, and instantly, all humans fell silent—unable to even open their mouths.

"Just do your everyday tasks and level up as much as you can. But if you die here... your body in the real world will die too."

A chilling pause.

"This world will end once you kill the 10 gods ruling over it. Simple, right?" She grinned.

"Now, let me introduce you to the 10 Rules of this world—but don't expect me to show their faces. It's not like you can hunt them down so easily."

The List:

1. The Creator Gods

2. The False Gods

3. The God of War

4. The God of Nightmares

5. The God of Algorithms

6. The Broken God

7. The God of Fools

8. The God of Gamblers

9. The God Error 404

10. The God of Lust

"That's your target list. Good luck."

With that, Catty vanished from sight. The invisible force silencing the crowd lifted, and chaos erupted.

Some of the players remained calm and tried to reassure the panicking crowd. The ruling guild of this continent was Hunny Buddy Guild .

But the most shocking revelation of all?

The God of Lust was Shin.

Most players in the game didn't know Shin's face—even his own friends barely recognized him because his eyes were always closed. The only person who truly knew him was his mother, the one who never let him cut his hair.

The gold given by the advisor was incredibly useful—players could buy anything : items, elixirs, food, even houses.

Most players in this game had read novels or watched anime about being transported to another world. That familiarity helped ease their panic—at least a little.

Meeting of the 10 Gods

The advisor, Catty, returned from the town to find the Creator God already waiting in a dark room, illuminated only by candlelight on a long table.

She bowed deeply.

"Looks like you've done well with your task, Catty."

"Thank you, Master. I only did as you commanded. All preparations are complete."

Suddenly, eight holes tore open in the air, and from them emerged eight human-like figures, their faces hidden behind masks.

"Have a seat, all of you."

They sat in eerie silence.

"Catty... where is the God of Lust? Why is he always absent?"

Catty leaned in and whispered the message Shin had left for the Creator:

"Go die, you piece of shit."

Then, she calmly stepped back, standing straight with an innocent smile.

"That... really hurts my heart." The Creator sighed. "I've done everything he asked—those humans are lucky they got such generous rewards because of him."

"But... no matter. Let them have their fun." His voice darkened. "Now... who wants to start the first disaster? Any volunteers?"*

One of the gods raised a hand.

"Ah... so you, the God of Gambler (Rii), will go first?"

Rii stood, letting his cloak fall away—revealing the appearance of a wealthy nobleman underneath.

It's me, your honor."

The room fell silent—no objections. Rii seemed fully prepared.

"Then this meeting is adjourned." The Creator's smile carried a dangerous edge. "Rii... you won't disappoint me, will you?"

The God of Gambler smirked, radiating confidence.

"Leave everything to me, my lord. I won't fail you."

With that, the gods dispersed, each returning to their domains.

Rii retreated to his casino-like palace, a lavish den overflowing with cards, chips, and gold. Two loyal followers stood at his side as he slumped onto his throne, fingers drumming impatiently.

"Shin... Shin... Shin..." His voice dripped with venom. "Just you wait. I'll make the Creator's eyes mine alone."

A twisted grin spread across his face. "Why does she always look at him? It infuriates me!"

He leaned forward, lost in delusion. "Once I make humanity suffer, the Creator will fall for me. We'll live happily ever after... Just you wait, my beloved Creator... Ahh~"

His hands wandered shamelessly—disrespecting the Creator in his own depraved fantasy.

Meanwhile, Elsewhere...

Shin lay asleep on a tree branch, undisturbed—until a dark hole yawned open beneath him.

Out slithered Catty, her expression stern.

"Shin. The Creator is looking for you." Her voice was firm. "She said if you refuse to come willingly... I will have to force you."

Shin didn't stir, eyes still closed. Ignoring her.

Catty sighed. "Fine. Have it your way."

With a flick of her wrist, iron chains erupted from the shadows, wrapping around Shin's body. he was yanked into the abyss—dragged toward The Creator .
