Chapter 10 - Chapter ten:Of Twins and Terrors

POV: Dual POV (Myra & Auren)

---

> "Blood does not always bind.

But when it echoes across distance—

When a heart beats in rhythm with another it's never met—

That is the beginning of something divine… or dangerous."

— The Forbidden Scroll of the Sundered Line

---

[Scene: Myra's Vision – The Spiral Song]

Myra didn't sleep like normal children.

Her dreams weren't silent. They sang.

Tonight, the song was louder — a lullaby carried by moonlight and memory. She saw a boy standing inside a burning ring of stone. He had silver eyes and a mark glowing on his chest.

> "Auren…" she whispered in her sleep.

Suddenly, the song fractured. Darkness surged around her dreamscape, and from it stepped a monstrous version of herself — fanged, winged, cruel.

"You don't belong to him," the dark twin snarled.

"I do," Myra whispered. "We were born of the same breath."

And light exploded from her mark — burning away the dream.

She awoke gasping. Her guardian stood beside her, face still hidden by the moon-blessed mask.

"You're connecting," the woman said. "The bond is activating."

"Why can I feel him?" Myra asked, heart racing.

"Because you were made to."

The guardian lowered her voice. "And because the world fears what happens when the two of you meet."

---

[Scene: The Link – Auren Feels Her]

Auren, deep in meditation beside the ancient stone of Time, jolted upright.

He gasped as images flooded his mind:

> A girl with white hair.

Drawing spirals.

Singing to the stars.

Crying alone.

He clutched his chest.

"I saw her."

Laziel stepped forward. "Who?"

"My sister."

For a second, the entire Forgotten Ring hummed, resonating with ancient memory. A swirling column of light surged from its center — projecting a vision to all corners of the world.

Two spiral marks.

Two children.

A forgotten birth.

A prophecy reborn.

---

[Scene: Elara and Kael – The Truth Unfolds]

Back in Lunaris, Elara stormed into the hidden vault of the Moon Archives. Kael followed, demanding answers.

"You knew, didn't you?" she said to the Council's oldest keeper, a blind woman named Vessina.

Vessina nodded solemnly.

> "The prophecy was edited. Not by us.

By the Light Court.

They feared the child born in two halves."

Kael clenched his fists. "Where is she?"

Vessina pulled a crystal scroll from the shadows.

"Hidden by the Order of the Veilguard. Protected by one who gave up her name… and her face."

Elara's hands trembled.

"Myra…"

---

[Scene: The Moonblood Call – Bond of the Twins]

That night, both Auren and Myra stood under their respective moons.

And for the first time — they heard each other.

> "Can you hear me?" Auren asked.

> "Yes," Myra whispered back. "I thought I was alone."

> "You're not. Not anymore."

Suddenly, a burst of energy surged through their marks. The spiral spun faster and faster — until both children floated inches off the ground, glowing silver and violet.

The Moonblood awakened.

A gift only the Twinlight Heirs could share.

It let them speak. Let them feel one another.

But it also meant…

They could be hunted.

Because the Moonblood could rewrite fate.

And Seris? She felt it too.

---

[Scene: Seris – The Lunar Eclipse Begins]

In her obsidian tower, Seris stood atop the Moonwell and gazed at the night sky.

An eclipse began — not celestial, but magical.

The moons turned black.

Not with shadow… but with her will.

> "Two children born of Elara…"

"Two pieces of the same soul."

"I'll take the girl… and make the boy watch."

She raised her hands and whispered an incantation that shook the Hollow Realm.

A portal opened — leading to Eldryn.

Her army of Hollowborn began to move.

---

[Scene: Eldryn – The Attack Begins]

Myra and her guardian felt it instantly — the chill of dark magic slicing through air.

"They've found us," the masked woman said, drawing two crescent-blades.

Myra stood behind her, mark glowing brighter than ever.

"I won't run," she said. "Not this time."

But the sky opened like torn fabric.

And Seris stepped through, riding a beast woven from shadow and regret.

She locked eyes with Myra.

"You look just like her," she said softly. "It'll make destroying you that much harder."

---

[Scene: Auren's Rage – Twinlink Surges]

Back in the Ring, Auren screamed as Myra's terror surged through their bond.

"I have to go!"

"You can't leave the Ring yet," Laziel warned.

Auren's eyes blazed silver. "She's in danger!"

And the Ring answered.

Pillars of light rose from the six stones. The spiral on his chest expanded — blooming like a radiant star. The sky above the Ring cracked, revealing a gateway.

Auren stepped through.

Not walking.

But flying.

---

[Scene: Final Scene – First Meeting]

As Seris raised her blade to strike Myra, a blast of lunar energy exploded across the battlefield.

Auren descended from the rift — hair silver-white, eyes blazing, the spiral mark now burned across his palms.

He landed between Seris and Myra.

"You'll have to go through me."

Seris grinned.

"Oh, child.

I was hoping you'd say that."
