Synopsis
When eighteen-year-old Kazuki Hayashi falls asleep after another all-night anime binge, he wakes up in the mountains overlooking Magnolia Town with an AI named Raphael and a mysterious gacha system. Through painful transformation and random power acquisition, Kazuki must navigate the dangerous world of Fairy Tail while discovering that his presence may fundamentally alter the timeline itself. But first, he needs to learn how to use his new abilities without embarrassing himself in front of his favorite anime characters. Inspired by "A Flugel's Gacha" I do not own fairy tail or the works used in this fanfic except the original character.

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: System Initialization

Kazuki POV

The soft glow of my monitor cast dancing shadows across my bedroom walls as I finally closed the latest chapter of *That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime*. Another all-nighter well spent, I thought with a satisfied yawn. Between binge-reading light novels, catching up on seasonal anime, and grinding through my backlog of games, sleep had become more of a suggestion than a necessity since graduating high school last month.

"Alright, one more episode of *The Dragon Prince* and then I'll actually get some sleep." I muttered to myself, reaching for my phone to check the time. 3:47 AM. Mom was going to kill me if she found out I was still awake, but hey, summer break privileges, right?

I settled back into my gaming chair, pulling up Netflix. The familiar opening of Season 4 began to play, and I found myself once again marveling at the magic system. Sky magic, primal sources, the way Callum had to truly understand the nature of the sky itself to connect with it...

"Man, imagine if magic actually worked like that." I said aloud to my empty room. "None of this 'wave a wand and say magic words' nonsense. You'd have to actually understand what you're manipulating on a fundamental level. That's so much cooler than—"

The world went black.

[System initialization complete]

[Greetings, master]

The voice that echoed in my mind was crisp, analytical, yet somehow warmer than I expected. Not the mechanical tone of a computer, but something more... alive. Familiar, even.

I jerked awake—or tried to. My body felt heavy, like I was waking up from the deepest sleep of my life. Cool mountain air brushed against my skin, carrying the scent of pine and something else... something that made my nose twitch uncomfortably.

"What the hell..." I groaned, trying to sit up. The voice in my head spoke again.

[Master, I recommend taking a moment to orient yourself. You have been transported to another world and require system initialization]

"Transported to a new world?!" I shot upright, immediately regretting it as a wave of dizziness crashed over me. But the vertigo was nothing compared to what I saw when I looked around.

I was definitely not in my bedroom anymore.

Towering mountains surrounded me on all sides, their peaks disappearing into low-hanging clouds. Ancient-looking trees stretched toward the sky, and in the distance, I could make out what looked like a town nestled in a valley below. The architecture was... familiar. Too familiar.

"No way." I breathed. "No freaking way."

[Analysis complete. You are currently located in the mountains overlooking Magnolia town in the kingdom of Fiore, Earthland. Specifically, the Fairy Tail universe]

I stared at the town below, my mind reeling. That clock tower, the layout of the buildings, even the general geography... It was exactly like the anime. But that was impossible. This had to be a dream. A very vivid, very detailed dream brought on by too much caffeine and not enough sleep.

"Okay, voice in my head." I said, forcing myself to stay calm. "Assuming this isn't just an elaborate stress-induced hallucination, who exactly are you?"

[I am your system administrator. For ease of communication, you may refer to me as Raphael. I have been assigned to facilitate your adaptation to this world through a gacha-based ability acquisition system]

"Raphael... like from Tensura?" Despite everything, I couldn't help but grin a little. "And you said gacha system? Please tell me this isn't going to be one of those nightmare scenarios where I have to pay real money for decent abilities."

[Negative. The system operates on achievement and time-based rewards. To begin your journey, you have been granted two world gacha rolls and one multiverse gacha roll. Shall I explain the difference?]

"Yeah, that would be helpful."

[World gacha draws from abilities, magic, and items specific to the Fairy Tail universe. Multiverse gacha draws from any fictional universe, including racial transformations, bloodlines, and unique power systems. The multiverse gacha is significantly rarer]

I nodded slowly. "That actually makes sense. So what are we waiting for? Let's see what I get!"

[Very well. Initiating world gacha sequence. presenting the first roll...]

A massive wheel materialized in the air before me, filled with countless sections containing various abilities and magic types from the Fairy Tail world. I could see everything from basic elemental magic to more exotic abilities like Celestial Spirit Magic and Time Magic.

[Spinning...]

The wheel began to rotate with incredible speed, creating a blur of colors and text. Gradually, it started to slow down, the clicking sound growing more distinct as it approached a stop.

[World gacha result: Archive Magic]

A notification window appeared in front of me, displaying detailed information about the ability.

[Archive Magic acquired]

[Description: a form of magic that allows the user to store, process, and transfer information at incredible speeds. Advanced users can access magical databases, download spells, and even share knowledge directly with others]

[Initial mastery level: novice.]

"[Archive Magic]? That's Hibiki's specialty, right?" I felt knowledge settling into my mind—not overwhelming, but like gently placing a book on a shelf. "This could be incredibly useful for learning about this world."

[Correct. Archive Magic will also facilitate your understanding of other acquired abilities. Shall we proceed with the second world gacha roll?]

"Absolutely."

The wheel appeared again, this time spinning even faster. I watched nervously as it began to slow, hoping for something combat-oriented to pair with the utility of Archive Magic.

[World gacha result: Sky Dragon Slayer Magic.]

[Sky Dragon Slayer Magic acquired.]

[Description: a lost magic that allows the user to consume, generate, and manipulate wind and air. Unique among Dragon Slayer Magics for its healing and support capabilities alongside offensive techniques.]

[Initial mastery level: Novice]

[Special note: as a Sky Dragon Slayer, you can consume any form of air or wind to restore your magical power.]

This time the knowledge that flowed into my mind was more substantial. I could feel the magic settling into my body, like a second heartbeat. The sensation was warm and oddly comforting.

"Sky Dragon Slayer Magic... that's Wendy's magic! This is actually perfect for—wait, did you say I can consume air to restore power? Isn't there air, you know, everywhere?"

[Indeed. Sky Dragon Slayer Magic is considered one of the more versatile Dragon Slayer variants. Now, shall we proceed with the multiverse gacha? This roll has the potential for significant physical transformation.]

"Physical transformation?" I swallowed nervously. "What kind of transformation are we talking about?"

[That depends entirely on the result. Racial changes, bloodline awakenings, evolutionary adaptations... The multiverse gacha is unpredictable by design.]

A much larger wheel appeared, this one seeming to stretch infinitely in all directions. Instead of neat sections, it appeared to contain swirling galaxies of possibilities from countless different universes.

"Well," I said, taking a deep breath, "here goes nothing."

[Multiverse gacha activated. Spinning...]

The cosmic wheel spun with such intensity that I had to shield my eyes from the brilliant light it generated. Colors from universes I recognized and many I didn't blurred together in a spectacular display.

[Multiverse gacha result: Skywing Elf racial transformation (The Dragon Prince)]

[Skywing Elf transformation acquired.]

[Description: Transformation into a Skywing Elf from The Dragon Prince universe. Grants enhanced agility, natural sky primal magic connection, storm attunement, and potential wing manifestation.]

[WARNING: Racial transformation will cause significant physical changes. The process cannot be reversed.]

[Estimated completion time: 47 minutes]

[Initiate transformation? Yes/No]

"Wait, hold on!" I held up my hands. "Is this going to physically change me into a different species? That's... that's actually happening?"

[Affirmative. The transformation will alter your physiology to match that of a Skywing Elf. This includes changes to bone structure, musculature, sensory organs, and magical circuits. The process will be... uncomfortable.]

I stared at the confirmation prompt floating in front of me. This was insane. Completely, utterly insane. But then again, I was already in the Fairy Tail universe talking to an AI in my head. How much more insane could things get?

"You know what? Screw it. If I'm going to be in a fantasy world, I might as well go all the way. Yes!"

[Transformation confirmed. Initiating Skywing Elf racial change. Brace yourself, master.]

The pain hit me like a freight train.

It started in my bones—a deep, burning ache that felt like they were being dissolved and reformed from the inside out. I doubled over, gasping as waves of agony crashed through my entire skeletal system.

[Stage 1 of 7: Skeletal restructuring - 14% complete.]

"OH GOD!" I screamed, my voice echoing off the mountain walls. "You said uncomfortable, not torture!"

[I apologize for the understatement. However, the transformation cannot be halted once initiated. I recommend focusing on breathing exercises.]

"Breathing exercises?! BREATHING EXERCISES?!" Another wave of pain hit me as I felt something shifting in my spine. "How am I supposed to do that when I can barely think straight!?"

[Stage 1 complete. Initiating stage 2: Cardiovascular enhancement.]

If I thought the bone restructuring was bad, the cardiovascular changes were worse. It felt like my heart was being rewired while it was still beating, my blood pressure fluctuating wildly. Stars danced across my vision as my newly enhanced heart struggled to find its rhythm.

[Stage 2 complete. Initiating stage 3: Muscular adaptation.]

My muscles began to burn and spasm as they adapted to my new skeletal structure. I could feel them becoming more compact, more efficient, but the process felt like being electrocuted from the inside.

[Stage 3 complete. Initiating stage 4: sensory enhancment.]

Suddenly, the world exploded into an overwhelming sensation. Every sound became deafening, every scent overpowering, every texture against my skin like sandpaper. I clamped my hands over my ears and squeezed my eyes shut, but it didn't help.

[Stage 4 complete. Initiating stage 5: Integumentary modification.]

My skin began to tingle and burn as it changed color and texture. I watched in fascination and horror as my hands shifted to a light tan with subtle blue undertones.

[Stage 5 complete. Initiating stage 6: Cranial modification.]

This was the worst yet. The pressure in my skull was unbearable as new bone growth began at my temples. I could feel things shifting in my head, pushing outward, and I was terrified something might rupture.

[Stage 6 complete. Initiating stage 7: Wing manifestation.]

The final stage was unique in its agony. I felt my shoulder blades splitting apart as entirely new appendages forced their way out of my back. The sensation was indescribable—like someone was performing surgery on me while I was awake.

[Stage 7 complete. Transformation successful. Running diagnostic...]

[All systems nominal. Congratulations, master. You are now officially a Skywing Elf.]

I lay flat on my back, panting heavily as the pain finally began to subside. Every part of my body ached, but underneath the exhaustion, I could feel something new. I felt... lighter. More balanced. Like I'd been carrying invisible weights my entire life and had finally put them down.

"What about my status?" I croaked, remembering something from the light novels I'd read. "Can I see my status?"

[Certainly. Displaying status window.]

A translucent blue screen appeared in front of me, filled with information:

"This is incredible." I breathed, studying the display. "Do I actually have wings? And my stats are way higher than a normal human's would be."

[Indeed. The Skywing Elf transformation has enhanced all your physical capabilities. Shall we test your new abilities?]

I slowly sat up, marveling at how fluid the movement felt. My new body responded perfectly, every motion feeling natural despite the radical changes. And there was definitely something on my back.

I twisted around, craning my neck to look over my shoulder. Two wings, storm gray with electric blue tips, were folded against my back. They were smaller than I'd expected—maybe three feet from base to tip when folded—but they looked undeniably real.

"I have wings." I said slowly, still not quite believing it. "I actually have wings."

[Affirmatve. Additionally, your facial structure has changed significantly. Might I suggest finding a reflective surface to assess the full extent of your transformation?]

I looked around and spotted a small mountain stream about twenty feet away. The water was crystal clear and perfectly still—ideal for getting a good look at myself.

The face that stared back at me from the water was familiar but definitely not human. My features had become more angular and defined, with high cheekbones and a sharper jawline. My skin had taken on that light tan with blue undertones I'd seen on my hands, and my hair had darkened to a stormy gray with electric blue streaks running through it.

But the most striking changes were my eyes and the horns. My eyes had turned a bright, almost luminous electric blue that seemed to glow in the reflection. And two small, swept-back horns had emerged from my temples, the same stormy gray as my hair.

"Well," I said, running a finger along one of the horns, "I definitely don't look human anymore."

[Correct. You now possess all the physical and magical characteristics of a Skywing Elf. Shall we test your magical abilities?]

"Definitely. But first, can you explain how the Sky Primal Magic works? The status said it was dormant."

[Sky Primal Magics requires philosophical understanding of the sky arcanum before it can be activated. However, your archive magic can facilitate this process by providing the necessary knowledge.]

"[Archive Magic] can do that? How?"

[Observe. Accessing archived knowledge: Sky Arcanum Fundamentals.]

Suddenly, knowledge flowed into my mind. Not like downloading a file, but like remembering something I'd always known but had forgotten. The understanding that the sky wasn't just above us but all around us, within us. To connect with sky magic, you had to comprehend that "the whole world is like a giant primal stone, and we're inside it.

[Sky Primal Magic activated.]

I felt something click into place in my mind, like a door opening to reveal a room that had always been there. The air around me suddenly felt different—not just oxygen to breathe, but a living force I could sense and potentially manipulate.

"Incredible." I whispered. "I can actually feel it. The wind patterns, the air pressure... it's like the sky is talking to me."

[That is the sky arcanum manifesting. Your archive magic has provided the philosophical framework, and your Skywing Elf physiology has made the connection natural. Shall we attempt a basic spell?]

"Absolutely! What should I try?"

[Begin with aspiro. It's the most fundamental sky primal spell. You'll need to race the appropriate rune while speaking the ancient draconic incantation.]

More knowledge flowed through my [Archive Magic]—the shape of the rune, the proper pronunciation, the gesture required. I stood up slowly, testing my new balance, then raised my hand.

"Like this? [Aspiro]!"

I traced the glowing blue rune in the air as I spoke. The effect was immediate—a powerful gust of wind erupted from my palm, strong enough to bend the nearby trees and send several loose stones tumbling down the mountainside.

"Holy crap, it actually worked!" I laughed, the sound echoing off the mountain walls. "I just did magic! Real, actual magic!"

[Excellent. Your magical potential appears to be quite substantial. Shall we test your sky dragon slayer magic as well?]

"Can I combine them? Like, use both types of magic together?"

[Theoretically, yes. Sky dragon slayer magic and sky primal magic should synergize well\, as they both manipulate similar forces. However, I recommend mastering each individually before attempting combination techniques.]

"Fair point. Let me try some basic Dragon Slayer magic first."

I took a deep breath, feeling the Sky Dragon Slayer magic thrumming in my chest like a second heartbeat. Following instinct, I cupped my hands in front of my mouth and focused on generating wind.

"[Sky Dragon's Roar]!"

A massive tornado-like blast of wind erupted from my mouth, far more powerful than the Aspiro spell had been. It carved a visible path through the air before striking a distant boulder and actually cracking it.

"Whoa!" I stumbled backward, surprised by the force. "That was way stronger than I expected!"

[Sky Dragon Slayer magic is inherently more destructive than primal magic. The combination of your enhanced mana reserves and natural sky affinity has amplified the effect considerably.]

"Status." I said, curious about my mana levels after those two spells.

Mana: 290/320

"Only thirty mana for two pretty powerful spells? That's not bad at all."

[Your efficiency is enhanced by your natural affinities. Additionally, as a Sky Dragon Slayer, You can consume air to restore mana. Would you like to test this ability?]

"Can I consume regular air? Like, the air I'm breathing?"

[Affirmative, though the restoration rate will be modest compared to magical wind of storm phenomea.]

I took a deep breath, but this time instead of just breathing, I focused on consuming the air itself. I felt the Sky Dragon Slayer magic activate, drawing in not just oxygen but the magical essence of the wind around me.

Mana: 305/320

"Fifteen mana from one breath? That's actually really good for a passive ability."

[Indeed. In a windy environment or during a storm, your mana restoration would be significantly higher. Now, might I suggest we begin making our way toward Magnolia? The sun is beginning to set.]

I looked around, suddenly realizing that Raphael was right. The shadows were getting longer, and I could already feel the temperature starting to drop. Even with my enhanced physiology, spending the night on a mountain didn't sound appealing.

"Good point. Think these wings can get me down there?"

[With your enhanced agility and natural wind affinity, flight should be manageable. However, I recommend starting with short glides to test your capabilities.]

I spread my wings experimentally, feeling the mountain breeze catch them. The sensation was incredible—like having two extra limbs that had always been there. I could feel every air current, every shift in the wind.

"Let's try a small jump first." I said, moving to the edge of a small rocky outcrop.

I leaped, spreading my wings wide. For a moment, I actually flew—gliding smoothly through the air for about fifty feet before landing gracefully on a lower ledge.

"That was amazing!" I called back to where I'd started. "It felt completely natural!"

[Your Skywing Elf physiology includes instinctive flight patterns. With practice, you should be able to achieve sustained flight rather than just gliding.]

I looked down at Magnolia Town, its lights beginning to twinkle in the gathering dusk. It was still quite a distance away, but with my new abilities, it seemed entirely doable.

"Alright." I said, preparing for a longer glide. "Next stop, Fairy Tail Guild. Time to see what this world has in store for me."

[Agreed, master. And might I say... Welcome to your new life.]

With that, I spread my wings and leaped from the mountainside, gliding through the evening air toward whatever adventures awaited me in the world of Fairy Tail.

[Status update - new title acquired.]

[Title: "Otherworlder" - one who has crossed between worlds.]

As I soared through the sky, I couldn't help but grin. This was going to be one hell of an adventure.
