Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 – The Miracle That Wasn't

Just a normal boy, living a normal life on a normal day...

Until everything changed.

He was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer.

The news crushed him.

That night, he wandered through an empty park, lost in thought.

For a moment, everything was quiet. Still. Peaceful.

But then, the weight of reality struck him hard.

He dropped to his knees, tears streaming down his face.

"I don't want to die!"

"Please, God!"

"Do something!"

"A... a miracle, please!"

Suddenly—

Something shot through the sky like a meteor and crashed in front of him.

A strange, dark red rock.

It pulsed. Like it was... alive.

He took a step closer, heart pounding—

And in a flash, a red substance exploded from it, wrapping around his shoulders and piercing into his body.

He stood there, stunned.

Frozen.

But then… nothing.

Shaking, he turned and walked home—his thoughts a whirlwind of fear, confusion... and hope.

The next morning.

He opened his eyes.

No pain.

No sickness.

His body felt light. Almost... unnatural.

Still confused, he rushed to the hospital.

During the X-ray, the doctor stared at the screen in silence.

Blank.

Black.

As if something was blocking the scan.

Startled, the doctor stopped the machine and left the room abruptly.

"Is something wrong?" the boy asked.

The doctor hesitated.

"No. Just... your cancer is still there."

But he was lying.

He had seen something — eyes.

Red eyes.

Staring back from inside the boy's body.

Later, the boy sat at a bus stop, lost in thought.

A man approached — the doctor's assistant.

He sat beside him and whispered:

"I saw it too. I can help you.

Come to this address tonight."

He handed him a piece of paper.

And walked away.

That evening.

He went.

The building was cold, dark, and empty.

The assistant led him down a long hallway — and into a massive underground laboratory.

Machines lined the walls.

At the back: a man floating in a glass tank, suspended in liquid.

The boy stared, confused and terrified.

Then — PAIN.

A sharp sting in his neck.

He collapsed instantly.

He awoke strapped to a cold metal bed.

His arms and legs — gone.

"MY LIMBS! WHAT DID YOU DO?!"

He screamed. But... there was no pain. Only horror.

The assistant stepped into the light.

But he was no doctor.

"I'm not just a scientist.

I've spent my life searching for alien life.

And whatever infected you... it's not human."

"But no matter what I do... I can't isolate it."

"So I'll keep dissecting you... until I can."

The boy sobbed.

"Please... let me go. I won't tell anyone…"

"I'm sorry. I can't."

"You carry something incredible. And I'll do anything to claim it—even if I have to kill you."

The boy's fear twisted into rage.

"I swear I'll kill you."

"I'LL KILL YOU!"

"FREE ME!!"

The scientist laughed.

Until—

Black and red matter erupted from the boy's body, swirling like a storm.

It launched itself at the doctor, slamming him into the wall.

The alien substance wrapped around the boy, forming limbs, muscle, armor — rebuilding his body in seconds.

He stood.

No longer human.

He walked to the scientist, lifting him by the throat.

"P-please... don't kill me! I have a family!"

The red-black being stared into his soul.

"Worthless human."

Then its massive alien mouth opened wide —

And devoured the scientist's head.

The red mass melted back into the boy's skin.

He stood there, shocked.

Breathing hard.

Staring at the body.

"No… no… it can't be…"

"I… I'm a monster…"

"I killed a human…"

He fell to his knees, sobbing.

Police lights flashed outside the building.

Officers stormed in.

"HANDS UP! GET ON THE GROUND!"

They tackled him.

Cuffed him.

Dragged him away.

Meanwhile… far from Earth.

A dark planet.

Inside a chamber, a round table of powerful alien beings.

Each one… similar to the red creature inside the boy.

A voice spoke:

"We all felt it. The fusion has begun."

Another replied:

"Then the time has come…"

"We're going to Earth."
