I pushed the look of annoyance from my face and confronted her with my casual look. "Yes I know who she was. She was Kuroka the black cat, a famous SS Class criminal wanted by the Devils. I also know what she did to Koneko, however I fail to see your point in all of this."

Within moments, everyone in the house is gathered around us. Rias looks pale trying to understand the situation.
"What is going on Shin, Akeno? Why are you two fighting?" she asks after composing herself a little.
It seems like Akeno didn't lose her will even in this situation. "Why don't you answer her? Or do you want me to answer her for you. Tell Her. Tell her how you were meeting with a criminal behind her back. The criminal who hurt a member of her own peerage." I could feel Koneko's breath hitch at that. "Tell her what you were doing with KUROKA."
Koneko's eyes widened at that. I could feel Morgiana's look of struggle too.
"Shin, what is she talking about?" Rias asks with a surprised tone of voice.
I kept quiet and let the matter escalate. The higher you go, the harder you fall.
Akeno got up from her knees with a look of hate on her face.

Even though I know that she doesn't know better, it was getting hard for me to control my anger at her right now.
"So you say that she killed her master. Yes she did. Why do you think she did that?"
Koneko was shivering at this point and Morgiana was holding her tight.
"Obviously because she was an ungrateful traitor who got drunk in her power. She went mad from using senjutsu."
"Really? Were you there to see it?"
This really caught her off guard. Everyone there backed off a little at that.
I didn't stop there and continued with my speech. "Back at my home, everyone thinks that I am the one who caused the death of my godfather, that it was my brother who killed a basilisk at the age of 14, fought off a hundred soul sucking demons alone at the age of 15, fought bravely against terrorists at the age of 16. Wanna know the truth? He didn't do any of those. He never entered the place where the basilisk stayed. He ran off at the sight of the demons leaving me stranded there while attacking my leg so that I could slow down the demons, he ran off at the first sight of the terrorists leaving me to die and it was he who was the cause of my godfather's death." I took a deep breath here. "But everyone knew different. Do you know why?"
I took a moment to take in the looks of confusion on everyone's face.
"It was because the people in power wanted that to be known. Tell me, how could a mentally unstable criminal escape from the entirety of underworld's patrols?"
Their faces were completely gobsmacked.
"That was not the first time that a stray devil had attacked a high class devil and killed them, then why was it that the entire nekoshou race in the underworld was massacred? The answer is obvious."
They were completely quiet at this point.
"The party involved wanted to hide something. Why is it that Kuroka only killed her master and there were no other deaths of the people in that territory apart from her previous master's house?"
I paused for a bit.
"It was because she never went mad with power. She did everything with full consciousness."
Akeno snapped at this.
"Then she is an even bigger traitor."
"SHUT UP" I shouted, not wanting to listen to one of her accusations.
"Here, listen for yourself why she did all that." I took out my mobile from my pocket.
I had a feeling that Kuroka would tell me everything today. After all that was the deal between us last time. So I had prepared a method to record our conversation from the very beginning.
I played the recording and let them hear everything from the very beginning.
Seriously, a simple voice recorder can solve many problems. Why people don't use it is really beyond me.
After the whole recording finished, the faces of everyone there barred me and Sakuya were completely pale. The worst probably was …well obviously Koneko. She was a complete mess, tears falling from her eyes and while she was almost hyperventilating from all the emotional stress.
"Kuroka is much saner than me. I personally would have ended the entire Naberius House if they did something like that. Traitor or no traitor be damned." I growled at Akeno who was now almost cowering from my presence and not daring to meet my eyes. "So tell me Akeno, what else you wanted to know."
"I-I didn't know. I am…sorry." she seemed to shrink into herself.
Morgiana was hugging Koneko tightly and Rias was patting her back trying to calm her down.
"This is exactly what I wanted to avoid. I was going to ask Serafall to arrange a proper investigation on this matter. To get things done properly instead of rushing everyone and causing damage….but there are some things I am absolutely unwilling to forgive. You questioning my relationship with Rias is one of them."

I too went back to my room.

Today was too tiring.

Sirzechs on the other hand had to deal with the problems of a majority of the devil race as the one incharge of Internal Affairs. The amount of paperwork that brought was …let's not talk about those kinds of things for now.
Falbium….yeah, let's not talk about those kinds of things for now. If there is ever a vote of no confidence against Falbium, she will be the first one to cast a vote. Not that she hated him or something. It is just that…well she didn't have confidence in him to complete his work as a Satan ever. Sure he was good in wars but other than that he was an unrivaled slob.
The only one who looked like he would have an orgasm at this news was probably Zekram. It was honestly creepy to watch him trying to keep that smug grin off of his face.

If not for all his secrets, Serafall would let them mingle together to calm down the relations between the two factions to an acceptable level.

It still did not explain exactly what Shin and Azazel had talked about when they met. Sona had told her the gist of it or rather that was all she knew because she is never someone to skip on the information regarding her work.
That means she herself did not know much about the meeting, only that Morgiana was summoned by Azazel to know about the current wielder of the Boosted Gear and know about them. It was not the first time that he has pulled something like this. And to be honest it was not something to fight a war over. Azazel was someone who wanted peace between the three factions more than anyone else and all the leaders of the three factions knew this fact very well. So no one bothered about his actions much.
It was just that his meeting with Shin occurring so quickly was out of their predictions. She had put Shin in Kuoh specifically because people would avoid it in fear of causing political mayhem.
But apparently that was not enough for Azazel.
As she was thinking about all this, she saw Shin and Rias coming down the stairs. The healthy glow on their faces gave her all the reasons she needed for their delay.

I went there to see if she was having any problems. We had a talk, mainly about my artifacts and then Morgiana and the Divine Dividing user decided to fight in the future, all that eternal rivalry stuff. Finally I confronted Azazel about the attacks by his subordinates. He gave me a contract to take care of the problem. Finally before leaving, I put the White Dragon Emperor in his place."
"You didn't say anything about the last part? Did he attack you?" Rias asked from my side.
"Nope. He just wanted to fight me. Typical battle maniac idiot. He calmed down after I glared at him a little. Not much really."
"Glared at him a little? Is the White Dragon Emperor weak?" Serafall asked a little curious. Collecting information on the enemy faction? Well I will give you the headache…I mean the information.
"Cough cough, weak? Like hell he is weak. He is the half Devil great grandson of Lucifer with ultimate class level Devil demonic power. He is probably the strongest White Dragon Emperor ever born."
The reaction on their faces was priceless.

If the Old Satan Faction gets someone like him on their side then the power balance on our side will be completely ruined. And why was he with Azazel? Is Azazel in cohorts with the leaders of the Old Satan Faction? No, that can't be true. They will never work together. The people of the Old Satan faction detest everything outside their own people. Rizvim will never let this matter go. There is too little information about this?"
"Actually, he is not with the Old Satan faction. He is the adopted son of Azazel from what I have gathered. He had an abusive father who on the instigation of his grandfather abused him and his human mother when he was a child. It was mainly because of the insecurity of never catching up to his 'half breed son' as that Rizevim fellow called him. He ran away when his mother died and was found and adopted by Azazel. He has been there since then. If anything he absolutely hates the Old Satan faction while his feelings for the devils are neutral to slightly hostile at best. You don't need to worry about him going to the Old Satan faction."
I could see Serafall's eyebrows easing a little.
"How do you even know all this Shin-kun?" she asks me after collecting her thoughts for a bit.
"Did you forget what my Resurrection Stone can do?" I ask her as if it was obvious. It is a nice way to hide my knowledge from others.
I could see her freeze for a moment.
"Yes. I had forgotten about it….that is something I didn't expect. I need more time to think about it. Ajuka is probably going to go mad after this. Can you summon other souls Shin-kun?"
"Hmm, probably. I don't really use it that much."
"Don't Devil and Fallen Angel souls disappear after death?"
"I don't really know. Haven't tried to call any yet."
"This…I have to discuss it with other people. Does it cross the territories of Death Gods?"
"I am more or less her champion or at least something like that. I can take souls from Death Gods without any repercussions. It is one of the powers that I got with my title."
"This is quite a lot of information Shin-kun. I have to talk about this with the other Satans." she said, her thoughts in complete chaos right now.
"Oh by the way, I have started working on my potions. Currently I only have a few of these. I can only make a low potion and middle potion variety of health, magic and stamina restoration potion. Low recovers 25% of the total and middle recovers 50% of the total. If possible I would like to discuss the import of these herbs." I give her the list of the herbs needed for my alchemy from my inventory. "I would prefer other herbs as samples too if I can. I need them for new experiments." I say as I keep a few vials of each potion in front of her.
"You can test them for their efficiency and then we can discuss the price of the potions."
"I will get this done too. Moo Shin-kun, keep giving a lady this much work and she will never like you, you know." She said pouting while still taking the vials of the potion and keeping them…..somewhere.
I smile at her attempt to lighten the mood.
"On a different note, did you get the Magical Girl costume you want Sona to wear? I made a Sword Birth yesterday. Sakuya is testing it right now and I will complete the next one as soon as the testing of this one is done. After that it is time to make Sona's artifact."
The mood changed in an instant. Her face changed expressions so fast that I had to wonder if our previous talks were all illusions.
"I am having the bestest, coolest, cutest and shiniest Magical Girl costume in all of the underworld prepared by my personal designer. You will get it soon enough. I want my So-tan to look the absolute best."
"I will make sure that is what I make."

"Did you decide on any familiar from the list I gave you Rias?."
"I haven't considered having any other familiar yet. Maybe I will choose one in the future. Right now I need to grow stronger myself. I feel like I am getting closer to my next pair of wings."
She needs 12 more levels for that, so yeah, she is quite close to her new pair of wings.
"Yes, I know that you are quite close. I think we can finish that in around a week more. You and Akeno should be able to reach that stage around the same time."

Soon Meredith and Morgiana came following Sakuya.

"Okay, show me the ones you all want."
Meredith was the first one to come up.
"Woah, this one is quite good. You realise that you will only get an egg and have to raise the young familiar by yourself right."

Shaking my head, I open the Barter Net and order the egg. This thing is fucking pricy. It doesn't matter though. I am not shy about investing on anything that will add to our strength.
The egg appeared in my inventory and I took it out handing it over to Meredith. "Keep feeding it your magic power. It will bond with you by the time it hatches."

In a way similar to the previous one, the egg is directly put in my inventory. I took it out and handed it to Morgina.

Is she being so considerate to me trying not to spend my money?
I mean I know I have the Sin of Greed but I will never deny Sakuya of her choice of familiar just for the sake of money.
"This one will help me in my work, Master. I think it will be a big help to have someone help me out."
"That is….true but you could always choose two familiars. I won't mind it. I am pretty sure that no one will mind that."
"I am really thankful for your consideration Master but everyone has chosen only one familiar and it would not be proper for me to have two. Moreover you have already given me an artifact for myself. It has increased my strength a lot. I think this will be proper for me right now." she answers my questions properly. I have to say that she is really thoughtful.
I can see that she is thinking about all of the peerage and preventing me from acting towards her with favouritism. She is already in an intimate relationship with me and if I favour her more, even though I know that the other two will not think anything of it, the future members might take offense to that and that would reduce my standing as their Master in their eyes.
Fuck. Why do things have to be so fucking complicated? It is a simple familiar after all. You could always get another one if you want.
Sighing softly to myself I agree, "Okay. I can see your point. Thanks for thinking of things for me Sakuya."
I bought the third familiar for today. Probably the cheapest one yet.
A Birdman, Rockhopper Penguin.
If I remember correctly, it is of the similar race as the penguin butler of Nazarick, Éclair Ecleir Eicler.
I take the familiar egg from my inventory and give it to Sakuya. "I think you can hatch it right now. Just push some magic power in the egg."
"Yes Master."
With only a slight amount of Magic power from Sakuya, the egg shines a bright white and when the light recedes, a small penguin with blonde curls the size of a two year old human child remains in its place.
"So you have summoned me, the best of the butlers created by the Supreme Beings." says the little penguin. "Very well, I will do you the honour by becoming the supreme ruler of this place."
I couldn't help but face palm at this.
I gave it the personality of the one in Nazarick. Enjoy the new familiar.

Sakuya's eyes narrow slightly. "The owner of this place is Shin-sama. You are a buttler under me. Learn to be respectful before I search for a method to cook penguins. This internet thing is quite useful in searching for new recipes."
The penguin probably got that she was not to be fucked with.
"Y-yes Ma'am. I will clean the whole house till there is not a single spot left."
"Good."
I have a feeling that my life suddenly got weirder.
"That penguin is so cute." Rias couldn't help but giggle at it.
"It wants to become the ruler of this place by cleaning the house spotlessly." I smiled at her.
"How?"
"I would like to know that too."
"Anyways, I think I will get a new peerage member or maybe two later today." I have been meaning to summon them sooner but they are quite a handful and some preparations are needed for them. Also, the meeting with Azazel made me realize that I need to get stronger support because in the power levels of this world, I am still quite low on the scale.
"Did you find someone else? Is it that Leviathan girl you were talking about?" Rias asked curiously.
"I will tell you all about it later. I have been meaning to tell you about some of my powers in time. Let's say that it is one of the things that my Patron grants me." I am not going to tell her about my Gamer powers but just some bullshit explanation of where my summoned companions come from. I can't hope to hide this forever from her of all people after all.
But the main question is where to summon them?
Yes! I could use that.
"Sakuya, will you accompany me for a certain task." I ask her to finalize that idea.
"Yes Master."
ID Create.
Inside the new ID, I clean off a small area near the zombie region.
Collecting myself again, I take the Summoning Gem in my hand and crush it.
The motes of light from the crushed gem forms the silhouette of a person.
Finally, in front of me stands Merlin.
So, it was this Merlin.
The one in front of me had black hair and gold coloured eyes, red lips and pale white skin with a tattoo on her thigh in red of a boar. She is wearing a blue dress which has a considerable opening in the chest area showing her abundant milky white cleavage.
We have Merlin from Nanatsu to Taizai.

I was broken from my musings by the voice of our new arrival.
"Merlin, I guess. I was not sure which Merlin was going to appear. The Summoning Gem didn't have a detailed description of your identity. I am kind of glad it wasn't the dick wizard, I shudder to imagine the mess he would have caused. Anyways, to answer your questions. I wasn't sure which Merlin was going to appear, so I isolated us in a sub-dimension of my creations. I am not a necromancer. I do hope to study that someday. No point in wasting knowledge."

I could see her lips curving into a smile.

I must warn you though that there are beings in my world that can make the Demon King and Mother Goddess of your world look like little kids, beings who can kill every being in your original world, demon world and the plane of the goddess in a single instant. I need your help, but I will not trust you in such a world without any assurance."
I could see her eyes widening a bit at the information that I just mentioned.
"What will happen if I don't accept your deal?"

"You will be thrown back to your own world and all the memories about this meeting no matter what magic you use to hide it in your mind or at any place will be erased. You will go back to your…well as normal as it can be life like you have lived."
"What will I have to do if I join you?"
"I will make a few things clear first. I am a devil but I can change my race to other races too. Currently I am affiliated to the Devil Race. This world had a Great War similar to your own where three factions of the christainity religion fought. By the end of it, a majority of the leaders died and the war was stopped. A few years after that the devils had a civil war of their own, between the descendants of the Old Devil Kings who wanted to continue the war and the others who wanted to stop the war. The anti-war faction won. In all of this farce, a majority of the devil race was destroyed. To bolster the numbers of the devils again, the Satan Ajuka Beelzebub created evil pieces, artifacts that look like chess pieces fashioned after the said game for high ranking devils to reincarnate their peerages. I myself was reincarnated as one. Later when the reincarnated pieces reach a high enough rank they can get their own pieces and reincarnate others. I am currently looking for members for my peerage. I want you to be my bishop." I explain everything in short to her.
"So you want me to become a devil. Making a deal with the devil I guess. Do you people summon others from different worlds as well?"
"No, that is something only I can do. I am a bit of a special case. Most of the people in this world don't even know about the existence of other worlds. There is a big dragon living in the place where you need to go to travel to different worlds. He is the strongest being of this world. No one would try to get in his bad graces. As for becoming a Devil, I would honestly prefer it that you become one. I can always change you back to your human form later."
She kept looking at me with an inquisitive gaze before smiling a little.

It was kind of an obvious choice.
"If I had lied and you had found about it later on, you would have lost your trust in me, higher chances of backstabbing that way. I'd rather not take such a risk with someone like you."
"My my, are you sure you are not overestimating my abilities?"
"I am trying to stay on the safer side to be honest, and while your abilities are very, pardon my choice of words, annoying to deal with, it is your mind that I am more worried about. If it had been an average person with your abilities, I wouldn't have cared that much." It is true after all. Merlin is probably the most dangerous of all characters in that world for me.
"Oh my, quite a flatterer aren't you? I bet you say that to all the ladies you meet." She giggles a little

The atmosphere has been tense for a while now, I guess I should let it calm down a little.
"Only to the most beautiful ones." I smile back politely.
"Well now that it is all taken care of, I would like to see this knowledge you were talking about before I make my decision."
Thinking about it for a while, I agree.
I take a suitcase out of my inventory.
"These are some of the books from my families' libraries. I have more at the libraries at my home. There is also a mention of a Merlin in those books and while the magic used by this community might not be the best in this world, it is more of a token than the real thing. I hope this will be enough for you to make a decision."
She looks at the suitcase with a bit of unsurely.
"A case of books to convince me of staying in this world and serve you?"
Ah, so that is why.
I open the suitcase, and step into it.
Halfway through I turn and signal her to follow.
A minute later we are in the middle of a group of giant bookcases I had taken from the vaults of Gringotts.
The collection had increased after I had cleared out all the books in the vaults that dumbles had the keys to. It is really a sight to look at right now.
"A pocket dimension inside a suitcase, quite unique if I do say so myself, and these are only a token you say." she asks looking at me with a bit of…greed? In her gaze. I know that feeling too. She is a glutton for knowledge after all.
"This is the knowledge from a minor wizarding community in this world. Not all of it but enough. I have access to more books and information than this. In time my access will only increase."
"Now you truly have my interest. What is your name by the is hardly fair that you know my name but I do not have the same privilege?"
"Shin Kageyami."
"Shin then. Very well. I will accept your deal but I need to ask something first. Will I be able to go back to my world again?"

In time. You can visit that world too. The next world in the world jump list is not fixed. It is a random draw so it can be now or in a hundred years or until you become strong enough to go there on your own.
"I cannot completely decide which world I go to next right now. It could be your world or some other world but in time I will be able to control it myself."
"Very well you have me sold. I will sign a magical contract with you to not betray you as long as you don't break the contract. You can decide the terms of the contract then we can negotiate on them later."
"Hmm, sounds good enough."
The next hour was spent on negotiating and arguing points of said contract. If it was too tough then it would be rejected by her, if it was too loose then it would be rejected by me. We reached a midpoint in our discussions in all the points soon enough and signed the contract.
The contract was made in two copies and was signed by our magic and as long as both of the copies were not destroyed together by our permission, the contract will remain valid.
I have to say that I was incredibly lucky with Morgiana and Sakuya. These Summoning Gems can be really tiring to manage.
"Shall we start with the process then?" I asked her if she was prepared.
"Is it a lengthy process?"
"Not really. I need to use my Bishop Piece on you. Each piece has its own powers. A Queen Piece gives an overall boost to physical and magical powers. A Bishop increases magical powers only. A knight increases speed and proficiency with weapons. A rook gives enormous strength and extra defence. A pawn gives a very basic increase in all stats not comparable to other pieces but they can be promoted to any other piece if they have the permission of their Kings. I have decided on a Bishop Piece for you."
"Hmm. These Evil Pieces sound interesting. I would like to research them if possible."
"You can do that when you become a High Class Devil yourself or when I can convince Ajuka Beelzebub to give me an extra set. It will be hard but not impossible. I have my own data regarding the Evil Pieces. I will let you study them too if you want in the meantime."
I pushed the mutated Bishop Piece inside her chest and in a moment a burst of energy originated from her and eight bat-like wings erupted from her back. She is almost on the verge of becoming a Ten-Winged Devil. Her mana increased a lot.
"This is really good. I feel a generous increase in my powers. There is some change to the quality of my magical power but it is still manageable. Tell me what else I get as a member of the Devil now."
"Imagination based magic. Your efficiency will depend on the Magic Circles you use though but you can use magic based on your imagination alone. Also a weakness to holy and light type attacks. I will fix that soon enough. You also get the ability to speak all non magical languages of the world."
"Creating magic based on my imagination alone. You should have said that first when introducing the benefits of serving under you. The language ability is quite good as well though I could manage that myself. The weakness to holy and light type attacks can easily be managed. I will do some research on this as well. Do you have any books on the physiology of Devils and any data on why this happens from any previously conducted experiments." she asked, getting lost in her own thoughts that I don't know about.
"I will see what I can get my hands on."
"I am curious though." she said before we were preparing to leave the ID. "What would you have done if I had attacked you?"
"I said that your abilities were annoying, I never said that you were invincible. If it had indeed gotten to a fight of life and death, I would have been able to fight you off for long enough. I am not sure about defeating you but Sakuya here could defeat you even if it would have been hard. Together however we would have won for sure. That said I had no intention of fighting. I would have left you here and left the realm closing it forever." I reply before we leave the ID.
"Quite ruthless aren't you Captain. So what do you prefer to be called? Boss, Captain, King, Lord?"
"You can call me by my name if you want."
"Then Shin it is."
"So this is the world that you live in. I must say that the place is quite comfortable."
"It is. I will have Sakuya introduce you to my other Bishop. She will teach you more about this world. We will decide on a suitable background for you soon enough. I am deciding on the descendant of this world's Merlin. We will pick up something different later if there are better options available. Do you have any requirements?"
She was looking around everything with interest. It reminded me that like Morgiana the world of Nanatsu no Taizai was also a medieval aged world. It did not have these kinds of facilities in it.
We were wondering about these things when Luna came into the hall where we were talking.
"Shin, Hermione is in danger." and with those words alone, things took a different turn.
It seems like I won't be getting peace and quiet today as well.
"Did you see what was going on with her?" I asked hoping to get an idea about the situation and plan accordingly.
"The house was attacked by Death Eaters. No one was there to help them." she answered in a rare serious tone.
"Calm down Luna. I will take care of it. Sakuya, please call Rias urgently."
"Yes Master."
"Who else was with her Luna?"
"There were only her family. Her father was not there. Only her mother."
"Did you see when this happened?"
"Morning."

Luna's visions can be really unpredictable.

Anyways, we were going to meet her anyways. Better now than never I guess.
Rias was down in a minute fully dressed.
"Hermione is in danger Rias. Luna had a vision."
"Is she safe right now?" she asked, getting serious.
"I have no idea. It is best if we go as soon as we can. By the way she is my new peerage member. My second Bishop, Merlin."
"MERLIN!"
I was expecting this already.
"It is a long story, I will explain it later."
I soon took them all in a magic circle and disappeared from our home to the wizarding world.
- Interlude : Girl's Talk (When Shin was summoning Merlin) –
Rias entered Akeno's room after not seeing her at the dining table in the morning.
Shin had left for somewhere, she didn't know. He will tell her when it is time. She trusted Shin that way. He never did anything without any reason.
Akeno didn't know that yet.
She was actually worried when she had felt his magic rage last night that someone had attacked them.
Seeing Akeno there had been a surprise but what happened after that was not something she had expected when she was going to check things.
Kuroka was actually innocent.
Someone would question why she believed her words when she had no proof of that. But Shin had later explained that he had used his Resurrection Stone to talk to the spirit of Kuroka's previous king.
But Akeno was her Queen and has been her best friend since they were kids. The part of being the Heiress was not being able to play with normal children who are not up to their standing. How she hated that crap.
If selling their daughters for power and profit made them higher than others, then she would rather have a lower standing.
Anyways coming to the matter at hand, she could see Akeno was holding up inside her blanket, no doubt crying about last night's incident.
She may act like a big sister in front of everyone but Akeno was emotionally very weak. It was probably one of the reasons that she blamed Barakiel for her mother's death, survivor's guilt and having to live on the run for a full year without any help from the Fallen Angels solidified that hate for them.
She was blaming him not for being absent during the attack but due to abandoning her to herself for the rest of the year.
She actually blamed herself for her mother's death. She was told by the attackers that her blood was dirty and they wanted to kill her when her mother had intervened and lost her life instead.
She had grown a hatred of her Fallen Angel blood since that day as something that caused her mother's death.
Hatred is rarely justified.
When they had met, she was extremely withdrawn and rarely opened herself to others. It was only through sheer perseverance that she could break her out of her shell.
She became Akeno's first friend and accepted her for who she was. That is what helped her to open up to others.
But there was always a bit of doubt left; something that she knew that she could never fill no matter what. It needed to be someone special to her to fill that gap in her heart.
Until then she could do her best as her friend and help her be happy.
"Akeno."
The blanket moved and a pair of purple eyes looked through them with hints of red around the corner.
"Rias, I messed up. I messed up really bad. I shouldn't have lost my temper back then and talked to him more calmly. But…but I just snapped when he was not at all phased by my questions, acting as if nothing was wrong. Things came back to my mind as if nightmares and I …I just snapped at him with all those feelings. I didn't mean to say those things. I-I just…"
She hugged her, breaking her sentence and sobs all at once.
"Hush. It is alright. You were acting for everyone's good. You were worried about Koneko and me. Shin understands that, He is not angry at you. It is….something complicated. He was actually happy that you stood up for us. Don't worry he will be fine soon. It is not your fault." She kept on muttering words in her ear and drawing circles on her back.
This was what Shin did when they had their encounter after getting the ring.
"Really? He is not angry?"
Sigh. This part was something that she did not want to discuss but her Queen liked Shin too. She had seen more signs than she could count and she actually approved of her as one of her sisters. Maybe if she knew something about his life, it will help her know him better. In time when Shin wanted he could tell her the whole story. That was not her place to tell.
"Akeno, it was not you that Shin was angry about. It was….his own past. He has not had a pleasant past. In fact it was worse than anything I have ever heard. He was abandoned by his own parents for his twin brother. His childhood was a nightmare and later right before he met us, his godfather the only person who ever cared for him died and he was disowned by his father who blamed him for the death when it was not his fault. You blaming him like that brought back those memories of his. He calls us his family and you can see how it must have reminded him of that incident all over again. I don't blame you and neither does he. I only blame the circumstances. You couldn't have known better. He said that he needed some time to get his mind straight. His life has been very hard till now and the only one who can tell you about it is Shin alone." After taking a pause she continued. "You will have to tell him about your past too. I know that you like him but if you don't clear these things between yourselves then it will only cause problems down the road."
Akeno was quiet for a while, struggling to get her breathing in control.
"I will talk to him when he comes back. I will apologise to him again." Akeno said with her regained conviction in her voice.
"Good. Then perhaps you can get together with him too and we can double team him during sex. I really want to fuck Shin to sleep atleast once." she smiled at Akeno who blushed a bright red unlike her usual playful self.
It was good to see her Queen get back her smile again.

First of all a Merry Christmas to all of you guys.
Enjoy this little present from me.
I have noticed that the last few chapters have been a bit slow without much of an action or so do some of the readers think.
Well, I thought that the meeting with Azazel was good enough.
I want to take my time to establish the relationships between Shin and his girls instead of just running for 'action'.
We will be getting action soon enough. Maybe in a few more chapters.
I do have a basic outline for my plot and I am planning to follow it in my own time.
Also, how many of you guessed who the Merlin was?
And how many of you thought that I was going to summon Jibril?
Well, as you saw already, Summoning Gem doesn't give someone a complete control over the summons and as such should not be used easily.
They could very well lead to more problems than they could solve and so Shin was being cautious. He realised how lucky he was with Sakuya but didn't wish to try his luck anymore than that so future summonings will be a bigger deal than what they have been till now.
Anyways, enough talk.
