It’s a secret military project that kidnaps orphans and street kids… then crushes their humanity. No mercy. No second chances. Forced to fight. Tortured. Burned. Only the strongest survive. The rest? Forgotten bodies rotting in silence. But one child refuses to break. Alexander Viero — six years old, emotionless, deadly. He kills without hesitation. He survives without fear. But in a place like PTM, survival is never enough. Behind every trial… there’s manipulation. Behind every ally… there’s betrayal. And behind Alexander’s cold eyes… lies something even the monsters fear. Because in PTM… it’s not about who lives. It’s about who dominates.

Chapter 1 - CHAPTER 1 : The emergence of the monster

PTM (Project to Monster)

Project to Monster, or PTM, is a secret underground military program, completely off the record and unknown to any government files. Its main goal: to create the perfect human weapon—someone who can fight, kill, and survive in the harshest conditions without empathy or fear. Orphans, street kids, and kidnapped children are used as test subjects. They are called "subjects", separated into different experiment rooms, and forced to endure six brutal levels of torture and bloodshed. Those who fail, die. Those who survive… become monsters.

The concrete ceiling was cracked in several places, drops of water slowly falling and mixing with dried pools of blood.Screams echoed in the distance, like a never-ending song from hell.In a large, windowless room, dozens of children lay scattered across the floor. Some were trembling. Some weren't moving at all.

"999… 1000…"

The weak voice came from the corner. A silver-haired boy continued his push-ups, his body shaking but never stopping. His small muscles were twitching, the skin on his palms had torn, and blood dripped onto the floor. But he didn't complain. He didn't cry. He didn't speak.

"He's at… one thousand. He made it." One of the experiment staff whispered while taking notes.

"Subject Number 10, Alexander Viero. Age: 6 years old. Didn't stop for even a second during the 3-hour test."

On the other side of the room, a boy collapsed, his body covered in bruises.A black-uniformed officer quickly approached him and swung his whip without hesitation.

"You think you can rest before you're done? HUH?!"

The whip landed on the boy's back, making him scream in pain. But his screams were drowned out by another sound—more tragic—the sound of a body being dragged and thrown into a corner, piled together with the other corpses.

"Subject failed. Eliminated in Level 1."

PTM Headquarters – Observation Room

The observation room was filled with giant screens showing different experiments. The air reeked of antiseptic and blood. People in white uniforms were busy taking notes, monitoring, and reporting. In the center of the room sat a man with sharp eyes, silver cropped hair, and a face full of scars.

His name was Indra—the main leader of Project to Monster.

He sighed, lit a cigarette, and threw a file onto the floor.

"Every year we gather hundreds of children. And every year… only a handful survive. But even among those survivors… not one has been truly worthy."

The assistant beside him swallowed nervously and handed him another report.

"However… we've just received a report from Room 10. The youngest subject in the project… has passed both Level 1 and 2 with perfect scores."

Indra raised an eyebrow.

"How old is he?"

"Six years old. Name: Alexander Viero. Height: 118 cm. Weight: 18 kg. Blood type: O."

"Level 1—1000 push-ups, 1000 sit-ups, 1000 squats—completed in record time.""Level 2—firearm duel. He won… without a single scratch."

Indra put down his cigarette, his sharp gaze fixed on the screen showing Room 10.

"A six-year-old can kill without getting hit?I need to see this myself."

PTM Test Explanation – Level 1 to Level 6

Level 1: Physical EnduranceSubjects must complete 1000 push-ups, 1000 sit-ups, and 1000 squats without stopping. Anyone who stops will be whipped or executed. Evaluation is based on stamina and completion time.

Level 2: Initial Selection & 1v1 DuelBefore the duel, a "Battle Royale" will be held in each room where 19 subjects must fight using random weapons. Only 1 is allowed to survive. The survivors must then face a one-on-one duel against subjects from other rooms. Evaluation is based on survival skills, accuracy, and injuries sustained.

Level 3: Survival TestSubjects are sent to an uninhabited island for 7 days with only one rifle and their clothing. They must hunt and survive. Evaluation is based on the number of hunted animals and their physical condition upon return.

Level 4: Escape TrialSubjects will be placed in a foreign zone and hunted by 8 armed officers. There is no time limit. Evaluation is based on survival time and sustained injuries.

Level 5: Real-World MissionSubjects are sent on real missions such as assassination, kidnapping, or sabotage. Evaluation is based on mission success and impact.

Level 6: Psychological ManipulationSubjects will receive emotional and social training, then placed in simulations where they must build relationships with random targets. In the end, they must kill the target. Evaluation is based on the level of trust they build and the final execution.

Project to Monster – Room 10

The air was thick with the smell of gunpowder and blood. The walls were stained red.In the center of the room, a boy held a pistol. In front of him, another child lay on the ground, blood flowing from a bullet hole in his head.

"P-please… I… I'm still alive… don't shoot again…"

BANG!

A bullet shot through the boy's left leg. He screamed in agony.

"Please… have mercy…"

Alexander calmly pulled the trigger again. BANG. This time, the bullet pierced his right leg.

Blood splattered. The boy's screams faded into weak groans.Alexander slowly walked forward, raised his pistol, and—

BANG.

Silence.

There was no expression on Alexander's face. Only emptiness.

Behind the observation glass, Indra watched the boy like he was admiring a masterpiece.

Project to Monster – Room 3 (Subject: Raze Alden)

This room looked like a cage for wild beasts. The metal walls were covered in deep claw marks and old dried blood. The sharp smell of rust filled the air. The ceiling lights often flickered, casting terrifying shadows in every corner.

In the middle of the room stood a boy, his body covered in old scars. His bright red hair and glowing yellow eyes burned like fire. He spun a serrated knife in his hand, playing with it.

Raze Alden. Age: 12. Subject of Room 3.

He laughed to himself, his eyes wild.

"Am I getting a new opponent today? Or just another walking corpse? Hahaha!"

He scratched the floor with his knife, carving an "X".

"Number 17… Number 18… Who's gonna be number 19?"
