Skid...Screech...Crash...Break...FWOOOSHHHH...

The silent screams of agony in the blaze of fury. A man cradling his face. Melting and reforming into a white, round face-like shape.

The blank gave way to a crescent, otherworldly smile with sharp teeth and slits for eyes snapping open to a void filling with concentric circles to form a pupil that judges one's very soul. Shadow hands reaching for you with the hollow laughs, screams, and indecipherable sounds of humans, Pokémon, and creatures of otherworldly origin.

All (t)he(y) could see while screaming with fear were the two red eyes of an ethereal formless being, no, GOD, staring at him with knowing eyes in the background.

---------------------------------------------

Ash's eyes snapped open in fear. Breathing heavily with adrenaline pumping in his veins, he searched his surroundings for it.

Rain.

It was raining.

His breathing, heart beats, and palpitations slowed down to normal levels. Gradually. Slowly. Grounding him to reality, his surroundings, the probable time, his state...

With a jolt, he remembered the push but did not know who did it.

He wanted to run.

Go on a never-ending journey to escape from this place.

Befriend Pokémon.

See the world.

Battle other trainers.

Make a place for his Pokémon and himself in the world.

To show the ones who did not believe in him that he was better than anybody thought of him.

Help the ones in need, so that they may remember him.

Realizing that he must return home now otherwise he would get a good scolding from his mother for coming late. He was definitely going to get it for being drenched.

Getting up, he started walking away to his house not noticing the splotch of blood being washed away from the rock and his scalp.

Crying for a son and erasing the evidence of foul play against him, hoping to be a balm for his mind and soul and wash way his dark thoughts.

----------------------------------------------------------------

It was evening with the sun setting behind his back when he returned home.

Upon seeing him drenched and coming late, his mom scolded and fussed over him.

He really cared about his mom. Seeing her be caring for him let him know that he will always be loved by his mom.

He really wished his father was here so they could be a complete family. Alas it was a fool's dream.

After eating his dinner, he had gone upstairs to his room to sleep for the night.

Completing his before-bed rituals, he laid on his bed and went to sleep.

------------------------------------------------------------------

Dream.

It is the state of the brain when a person perceives experiences that may never be properly described by science.

It is also during this that a person may have conversations which are bound to be impossible to occur.

Ash found himself in a green field stretching far into the horizon. The sky was covered by gray clouds as if they were going to burst into rain. Rays of sunlight came through between the clouds. The smell of morning dew on the fresh grass. In the distance one could see a house's outline- the only structure anywhere in this world.

He somehow felt at peace here.

Welcoming.

Free.

Lonely.

He started walking towards the house as it was probably the only place where he could get answers.

Where he was.

How he was here.

Why he was here.

With the gentle cool breeze carrying the scent of wet ground, fresh leaves blowing in his face and enjoying the sight of swaying grass with dew drops falling on the ground, he started walking towards the house to face the unknown.
