1 Piece AU Luffy Charlotte

The next morning the Goa kingdom awoke in a frenzy and damn near rioted. Every noble house but one was robbed in the night of any and everything that looked even remotely valuable. The Outlook house was left untouched by robbery, in fact it had all of the stolen valuables inside of it. However it had been vandalized on the outside, the words 'Murderers', 'Fakes', and other such insults either painted or burned onto the walls outside and there were quite a few valuables missing from within the house itself.
Luffy had also burned Sabo's name into the area right above the door and pinned the official documents showing that Sabo was the Outlooks biological child and the current 'heir' was in fact adopted and not of noble blood.
A picture of his handiwork was mailed to his Uncle Morgans and would be featured in the paper as soon as the man got it and the letter attached providing a copy of the adoption records and birth records and witness testimony of how they sourced out to a retired pirate who became a bandit and had him start the fire of the Grey Terminal which killed more than a dozen people.
Like his baa-chan said, revenge was a dish best served cold. And Luffy had let this chill for several years now.
Luffy hummed slightly as he put some of the pieces of gold and silver jewelry he had stolen from the Outlook house into his chest of treasures. He could probably pawn them off for a good amount of berries a few islands away, it'd help go towards his fund of getting a boat big enough for him and his crew.
"Bye Luffy! Take care!" The townspeople were sending him off with smiles and waves as he put his treasure chest in the dinghy the fisherman kindly gave him, the fruits and already cooked meat loaded neatly into the barrel that was sitting innocently on the boat. They weren't aware yet of what he had done in the noble district, they'd probably hear about it after he left but he wasn't worried. The nobles were wimps and wouldn't dare try to fight anyone themselves, and Dadan and her bandits were more than strong enough to take out any of the scum the nobles could hire. He had already given them some fresh tiger meat in exchange for making sure the nobles didn't try anything with Fuschia village after he left.
"Just you wait and watch everyone! I'm going to do it! I'm going to be the King of Pirates!" Luffy shouted out to the village who all cheered or laughed at his statement, glad that his dream was still the same even after all these years.
"Watch over me Sabo." Luffy whispered to the sky as he untied the boat and began to sail a little ways off to where he could feel the sea king at with his Haki. Sure he couldn't see into the future like Papa Kata but he could definitely sense peoples and animals presence and they had learned that he can even talk to most animals! Sadly most of the bigger ones on the island here were just feral beasts drunk on their own strength.
Sure enough the villagers started yelling in worry or screaming when the Coast Lord emerged from the water intent on eating the small vessel and it's lone passenger.
Luffy calmly drew his sword as the sea king gave a snarl, but he heard nothing but feral angry words. Another mindless beast then. That makes this so much easier for him.
"Sorry buddy. But you aren't scary." Luffy said as he jumped from the boat and, faster than any of the townspeople could keep up with, not just threw the sea king onto the land but killed and sliced the sea king as promised. From what they saw, one second it was rearing out of the water towards Luffy as he jumped from his boat, the next the sea king was flying through the air towards the village and there were several flashes of light.
"Shishishishi! Hope those pieces are small enough for you!" Luffy called as he reappeared on his boat again, wiping the blood off of his sword with a cloth. Everyone could only gape as the Sea king hit the ground and split apart into dozens of neatly sliced round pieces.
"Holy shit." Makino whispered while Dadan's cigarette fell from her lips in disbelief and shock.
"HOLY SHIT!" The bigger woman yelled, making Luffy laugh as he sailed away with his limited navigation knowledge.
"He moved so fast we couldn't even see him." The baker said in disbelief as they all stared after the boy until he was just a tiny speck on the horizon.
"He might actually become the King of Pirates if he's got that kind of skill and training to back him up." The fruit seller said wide eyed while the butcher was hurriedly getting all the meat into the freezer and calculating how much money he could make off of it, something that made him cackle slightly. He was going to be so rich from this that the town's economy was going to definitely be booming!
Dogra and Magra stole a few pieces to take back to the bandits shack in order to cook it up later or maybe sell off the leftovers and make a bit of profit. They were bandits after all.
None of them knew that as they were working together to get the meat into storage Luffy was sailing off in the great wide ocean…

And ended up damn near sailing straight into a whirlpool.
"Well…good thing Aunty Cinnamon and Citron gave me floaties." Luffy said calmly taking the floaties out of his treasure chest and attaching them to his arms before he ate all of the food in the barrel. Then he made sure the chest was safely and snugly in the bottom before he climbed in on top of it and sealed the lid back on over his head.
As the swirling motions began and his dinghy sank, Luffy was lulled to sleep by the motions.
