Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: An Intruding... God?

This isn't something you can explain with space, dimensions, or other realms—because here, none of that exists. You can call it Chaos, or the Dirac Sea. It's the origin of all worlds and also their final destination—this is the Infinite Domain.

A figure appears: precisely, a little girl of about ten, with golden hair flowing to her hips. Black flames, similar yet distinct from the surroundings, dance around her and form a dark dress that simply wraps her small frame.

Evelyn drifts casually—she's lost count of how long she's been here. A thousand years? An instant? There is no concept of time here—any feeling of its passage is just her own perception. She opens her eyes—blood-red, ruby-like, yet cold and distant.

Her emotions are numb—perhaps overly so. She glances at a silver bracelet on her wrist and freezes. There is a hint of longing and sorrow in her gaze—but once she looks away, the coldness returns.

Evelyn knows her condition—yet seems indifferent. Upon her root awakening earlier, her soul, her body—everything—became "primeval." Though it's still her, she now must "grow" anew.

In other words, Evelyn is no longer a "normal" life with body and soul separate—she is a single unified existence. Evelyn has been reborn.

"… This was her mother's command and wish…"

At the thought, some spark returns to her eyes, but it fades quickly. She remembers her old wish—the simple yet complex goal she had as a child. Even now, she hasn't forgotten it, though part of that feeling is missing.

"… But… thankfully…"

Relief shows briefly. She doesn't know the specifics, but at least the worst hasn't happened. Now, what must she do? She knows her dream but can't feel the drive—those emotions have been dulled since her death in a past life.

"So… I have to reclaim that feeling?"

Her tone is questioning, but she's certain. It will take time—but time means nothing here. More importantly, staying in the Infinite Domain brings no progress. She needs to go to another world, to see it for herself—and in doing so, relive herself.

"It's better not to let Qiushu know yet—though it may take a long time, at least she won't worry." Thinking of Giselle, she smiles softly and makes her decision.

A ripple appears beside her—that's a message. For someone without enough power, it's incomprehensible—but Evelyn understands instantly. It's a plea or cry from another world, even a contract to sign—and from the tone, she recognizes this world.

Although odd, she already suspects what world it is. Regardless of a few strange details, she's decided: she will answer that world's call!

The Red Realm—a world humans can never reach. Known as the "Scarlet World," its inhabitants are called "Children of the Red Realm." In ancient times they discovered the Existence Power overflowing in this world (the prime world), and devoured it recklessly. Their actions warped that world, causing destruction—and they didn't stop.

In the Red Realm, the powerful are called "Kings." Fearing total annihilation, Red Realm overlords assembled to stop their reckless brethren. But without Existence Power in this world, they couldn't act directly. So they chose humans—offering their entire being as vessels. Those humans became "Flame-Fog Warriors," wielding their Power to defeat the children of the Realm.

For centuries the endless war has consumed countless lives on both sides. Now, in the 16th century—Europe's chaotic era—a second massive war erupts between Red Realm and Flame-Fog Warriors. Instigated by the strongest Red Realm faction, "Funeral Bell," led by the "Coffin Tailor," joined by nine Red Realm overlords.

The war has reached its climax. The Flame-Fog side finally gained victory through the sacrifice of their greatest warrior, Matilda St. Mire—the pact with her demon lover unleashed the true Red Realm Overlord into the prime world.

Emerging in a kneeling posture with huge wings and horned mask is the Demon King, "Tian Rang Jie Huo"—the "Heaven's Punishment God" of the Red Realm. Surrounded by cyan flames, he towers—a symbol that the war is over.

Yet, the unexpected happens: a third presence appears on the battlefield. A black presence—thick, deep, wing-like flames—rises through the clouds. It's not the cyan glow nor the black membrane wings—it's darkness. From afar it looks like the wings of a fallen angel, more arrogant than Arastor's presence.

A girl—by appearance, a teenage girl—stands next to Arastor and Asis in the void. Golden hair, hip-length, beautiful despite her small stature. Her blood-red eyes open, cold and distant—yet she emits overwhelming aura comparable to the fully manifested Punishment God.

The girl glances at the scene, then side-eyes the cyan angel Asis with hostility. The battlefield's attention turns to her.

"I was sent to kill you." Calm—but it hits its mark. Both Arastor and Asis react similarly: "Who are you?!"

"My name is Evelyn Jelín A.K. McDowell. Entrusted by this world to slay you—the greatest destroyer, Asis." Her voice is distant.

"That 'world' of yours? Cruel and emotionless? How laughable!" Asis, cyan angel, rages. A crystal forms in his chest—the "Scion of Two Worlds"—a metal plate suffused with mystical aura. Asis bares his dead lover's body and shouts at Evelyn—but she remains unmoved.

Evelyn calmly raises her hands. No emotion—either by choice or because she lacks it. To do her work quickly, the straight path. As Asis reacts little, Arastor—the Powers' wielder—feels something. He judges the girl: "A god I've never known."

In a clear, chilling, childlike voice, Evelyn speaks aloud:

"In the beginning—before chaos."
