Chapter 1 - Ch.1 - An Impossible Opportunity

Raaaggghhhh!

BOOM!

A massive explosion covered the sky in a flash of crimson light as two silhouettes battled in the atmosphere of Lumina, a large stellar world in a binary star system. Lumina was a world ruled by the young God by the name Solara.

For 80,000,000 years, he created and ruled over this star system, as the center of his very own creation. However, an unforseen event was currently taking place in Solara's domain; an invading deity was invading aiming to take this domain and assimilate it into their own.

What's worse, is that despite all his efforts, Solara was losing, and fast at that...

BANNG!

"LIGHT OF EMERGENCE: LIGHTNING OF THE CRIMSON EMPEROR!" A mighty voice shouted as a rift in space formed releasing a devistating crimson lightning bolt that sparked with black ripping through the atmosphere in another blinding explosion.

Solara tried to block the attack, yet his arms were blow off the the shoulder in his efforts as he fell towards the ground.

He was dozens of kilometers in the sky and rapidly approaching the ground, yet the attacker didn't relent in the slightest.

"Combination Spell! Roaring Summit X Crimson Dragon Spiral!" The enemy God spoke as a crimson dragon made of that same crimson electricity formed easily 3,000,000km long and 800,000km wide.

However a massive image of a Lion's illusionary roar soon appeared behind the dragon, shaking the world itself as the dragon changed turning into pitch black lightning and growing 3x larger as it blitzed towards the falling God.

"It's over Solara, you're world will become another material factory for my cosmos..." The enemy God spoke hovering outside of the atmosphere as the dragon coiled around the falling God like a rope before turning in on itself and biting down on the tiny figure of the deity imploding as a massive hole is blown in the world and it's atmosphere leaving a huge trench where a continent once was before, so deep it was halfway to the Planet's core.

The chared corpse of the fallen God floated in the atmosphere for a few moments at the enemy God looked at him in disgust.

"So weak, and yet you dare call yourself a God? How preposterous... You where never one of us fool only a mere half-baked fake who got to cocky early in his life." They spoke before waving a hand at the now Godless world claiming it as their own as the world healed from all scars from the battle.

They then left the body of Solara to fall under the returned gravity as they crashed in some random continent, a dead husk.

"Hummm, I forgot to take their divine rank treasure out of their body... Although if they lost that easily, it couldn't be worth much anyways haha" they said before soaring back into deep space, likely back to whatever dimension they came from.

—————————————————

Far on the ground, not far from the area the battle took place, the body of Solara crashed into the edges of a slave area. As they toiled non-stop for days on end, one of them held a grimace on his face.

This was Gabriel and just 3 weeks ago, during his awakening ceremony at the spatial diver academy, he was revealed to be a failed awakener.

Now on some sides of the world, this wouldn't mean too much, he'd just have to buy some strong herbs from spatial rifts and awaken through the mana within them. However since he was born in one of the highest places on this world, him not awakening naturally was seen as a disgrace. So his noble parents sent him to the slave continent to serve out the rest of his life in slavery.

With a fate like this, he wouldn't have a chance in hell to awaken, all because of that stupid novel pride his family had.

"You should just kill yourself big brother, it'll save you the humiliation of being a slave at the least..."

Damnit, those words from his twin sister kept echoing in his mind every time he closed his eyes! She was so damn lucky!

She was his twin, only an hour younger than he was, and yet where he had failed to awaken, she awakened an overwhelmingly powerful magic... White Flames...

They could create just as well as they destroyed, heal just as great as they killed, and they replenish her stamina making her virtually invulnerable to equal opponents. Even cutting off her head won't work if she had her flames active as they restore her even from that.

"What a cheat like ability..." Gabriel muttered when suddenly a loud crash was heard down the field from him.

The other slaves already broken and beaten after decades of service to the owners who claimed them had immediately run off to tell their masters. However, Gabriel was different.

Instead of running away, he went to check out the crash site and to his shock, he saw someone he knew all to well.

"S-Solara..." He muttered, seeing the God who openly ruled this world, who he used to pray to every day before becoming a slave, the one who was so far above everyone, he seemed absolute.

And yet... here he lay, fallen and broken. A dead God in the flesh. There was a nebula like ripple pulsing across his chest and curious as to what it was, Gabriel climbed down the crater and touched the spot it originated from albeit hesitant in his actions.

The instant his palm made contact with the God's body, he nearly jumped in fright as an orb broke free of the deity's chest hovering above the body like an artifact on a pedestal.

Reaching out to touch it, Gabriel was shocked. It felt hot and cold, comfortable yet uneasy, light yet darkness. It was such a strange feeling that he had no clue how to describe it properly before it suddenly shot into his chest sending violent pain through his body.

"Aaauughhh!" Gabriel screamed clutching his chest as veins like nebula blooms in a galaxy.

Over Gabriel's body, a shimmering cosmic armor formed, coming from his skin as a rush of pain and power surges through him. However with that pain, with that power, there was knowledge as well.

"Cosmic Armor!" Gabriel grunted as it finally covered his body completely.

For a few seconds he stood there, panting as the pain subsided after a moment; and he could hear people making me their way over to the crash sight as well.

"N-Now, is my chance to escape..." He stuttered still feeling the pain as with a great burst of speed beyond his original capabilities, he ran off, away from the slave area wondering what exactly this all means for him and his future.
