Lui Ming opened his eyes slowly, the effort alone was enough to make his breath hitch in his throat. Above him stretched a wooden ceiling aged, cracked, and lined with outdated carvings that spoke of a different time. Dust floated through narrow beams of dim light, dancing in the stale air like silent witnesses.
His mind was foggy, disoriented. Nothing about this place made sense… and yet, it felt familiar, as if he'd seen it before through the pages of an old memory that felt like wasn't his.
Trying to sit up, Lui Ming clenched his jaw against the strange weight in his limbs. The moment he moved, his body rebelled.
A sharp, blinding pain exploded through his head as if a knife had been driven straight into his skull . Agony flooded him like a crashing tide, merciless and all-consuming. His chest tightened. His vision swam .
His eyes rolled back, his body gave in, and he collapsed once more into unconsciousness.
It took hours before he was able to wake up again. slowly opening his eyes he saw the wooden ceiling was there again, he had the thought of sitting up but suddenly remembered the unbearable pain and decided to abandon that idea. While slowing turning his head to the side he sub-consciously called " Mammy Qin ! ". Lui Ming didnt know why he called that name or who the person he called out to was but the answer immediately revealed it self when a woman with grey hair walked in, she held a bucket filled with hot water with a small towel hanging off it's side
" Young Feiyu how are you feeling ? " the mammy Qin asked as she slowly walked over to him. Lui Ming saw mammy Qin carrying the bucket of water and panicked, before he died Lui Ming was considered a very nice and caring person to young and old so helping people was engraved in his soul, just looking at Mammy Qin who looks over 60 was really uncomfortable to watch, ignoring the pain in his joints, he walked up to Mammy Qin to give a helping
hand.
" YOUNG FEIYU! HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME!? " Mammy Qin sobbed loudly, tears streaming endlessly down her face. Lui Ming could only stare blankly trying to assess the situation, he was so confused that he swore he almost forgotten how to count
" I did this ? " Lui Ming hadn't even laid a finger on the handle and he was already being blamed? " calm down i'll help you- " Lui Ming could finish his words when another maid opened the door, she quickly sat next to Mammy Qin searching for injuries, when she couldn't find any she got up from the floor and slapped Lui Ming
" Young Master Feiyu ! how could you !? " The maid yelled out unrestrained pointing a finger at Lui Ming. Lui Ming he remained silent, He did not move, nor did he say a single word. Noticing this the maid who thinks she had the upper hand glared at him " Young master Feiyu it seems you've been spoiled too much ! I couldn't help but discipline you ! Mammy Qin is old! and will soon retire back too her own town yet you still make trouble? " Lui Ming was quiet through it all not

The maid found Lui Ming's silence irritating and felt even more angry, if she continued to scold and yell at the top of her lungs without him responding it would be considered as wasting her time and energy. She turned back to Mammy Qin and helped her stand, Lui Ming silently stared at Mammy Qin's face he then saw her eyes weren't focused and noticed her lips were moving, whispering something neither he nor the maid could hear. when mammy Qin stood up they both walked out the room.
Lui Ming stared at the closed door while holding his cheek " She's a drug addict " He muttered, his voice flat and uncaring while making his way to the bed. Lui Ming realized this back when Mammy Qin collapsed screaming, he noticed Mammy Qin's bloodshot and unfocused eyes with her unstable behavior from nice greeting to fear it was obvious to see something was not right
He sat down at edge of the bed and began to ponder, soon became lost in thought, for some unknown reason he had memories of Mammy Qin and all weren't like this at all and the Maid that was all over the place was Mammy Lu someone that Mammy Qin loathed. it was an obvious difference between the woman in his memory and the woman now.
Lui Ming just decided to let go of it, besides it wasn't his first time getting slapped by a woman, plus his main issues is to understand what state his in while slowly and efficiently solve this bodies problems
In his past life Lui Ming was a medical student with a masters degree but sadly after graduating was unable to enter any big hospitals, it was just as hard to get into small hospitals at that not because no one wanted him it was because of his appearance. He had black and deep black eyes with bags under them, and accompanied by his thin lips and pale skin his looks alone wasn't the disappointment but it was that he was suffering from Alexithymia so everytime he looks at someone his eyes doesn't show a bit of worry or concern its like as if he is looking down on you
Many that needs special attention wouldn't like to see that face but fortunately his aunt helped him by teaching how to express themselves even if he didn't mean it and take care of people even if he didn't want to. It took a lot of time and effort and slowly began know when and where to smile but he died before he could learn anymore which was extremely unfortunate since he ended up getting transmigrated Into a body that has extreme OCD. You Alexithymia and OCD now! How does Lui Ming feel about it?

But there was one thing Lui Ming disliked and that was pain! others in pain? He didn't care. Didn't want to know. Didn't need to but pain for himself? he died once and experienced pain even after dying the second he woke up to his new life he felt pain much worse than he felt while dying, the best thing to do is to stay alive and how to do it was to first find out about this world. how does Lui Ming feel about dying again?
