Chapter 29 - Forbidden Training

The hidden chamber reeked of forgotten dust and stale mana.

Cian stood shirtless beneath flickering rune-lights, his pale, unnaturally symmetrical body reflecting sharp shadows on the ancient walls. Dozens of runic mirrors floated around him — enchanted lenses dissecting his every molecule, bone structure, and blood composition.

His silver eyes glowed faintly as the Divine System hissed to life in the dark, aggressive hacker tone:

---

[Divine] >> >> Access granted █

[Divine] >> >> Biological scan initiated ███

[Divine] >> >> Beast Bloodline: Detected █ Anomaly: Extreme █

[Divine] >> >> Forbidden Darkness Attribute: ACTIVE █

[Divine] >> >> Neural processing: 129% baseline ██ STABLE █

[Divine] >> >> Physical Output: BELOW projected potential ████

[Divine] >> >> Conclusion: Evolution Mandatory █

---

Cian flexed his right hand, shadows curling from his fingertips like sentient mist — dense, toxic, unnerving.

Data… acceptable. Potential… insufficient.

His mind dissected the results with brutal clarity.

Along the chamber floor, a caged beast whimpered — a low-tier creature bred for training. Its fur bristled, eyes wide as it felt the unnatural pressure rolling off the small prince.

Cian stepped closer. His right palm darkened — veins pulsing black with forbidden energy.

With a precise movement, he unleashed the Darkness Molecular Dispersal — his body momentarily vanishing into a cloud of darkness molecules, reforming behind the beast before it even registered his presence.

A faint whimper. Then silence.

Weak. Inefficient. Still flawed.

The Divine System's harsh voice returned:

---

[Divine] >> >> Target neutralised █ Skill extraction: SUCCESSFUL █

[Divine] >> >> Beast Bloodline strengthened █ Host evolution… 0.3% █ Pathetic █

[Divine] >> >> Recommend: Higher-grade combat trials █ Life risk: Inevitable █

---

Cian's lips barely twitched — a faint ghost of amusement. Fear? None. Only calculations. Only necessity.

"I need more," he muttered, voice low, sharp as glass.

"More risk. More data. More… enemies."

The chamber echoed with silence — only the hum of the system and his own heart, steady as a machine, filled the void.

His evolution…

His control…

His dominance…

It had only begun.
