In the Beginning a question was posed.
"How can one ascend the mundane?"
A chuckle, slowly creeping into the ears of all those who dared to listen
A sound that could not possibly be a voice reverberated, yet it was .
If asked to describe such a voice, one could only hope to convey their understanding in cryptic meaning, it resembled an echo from the deepest abyss, words that flowed into eternity only to end up forgotten.
An Awnser was given that was not truly an awnser, yet it was .
With the insight gained, the first Ascender managed to achieve the impossible, thereby making it possible and braving the path for erveryone else suicidal enough to try ascending the mundane.
Who or what the first ascender was is forgotten, The only certainty is that he or it has existed.

Realities have been discovered to merge, but by the time we discovered it, it was to Late.
This was a long time ago, so long in fact that the only accounts existing are whispers passed down from generation to generation.
These Realities are one, yet separate, the "Great Merging" has us allowed to cross reality's altogether, they can be thought as being layered on top of each other while simultaneously bordering every other reality with the same distance.
As this is too complicated of a concept for the ordinary, it is simply called the "World cluster"
The Reality one is at any current moment is called a World .

A desolate World, one reigned by beasts and chaos, in such a world I find myself
"Is this retribution for all my misgivings?"
The only equipment I have is this short sword, a rope , some rations and an transmitter.

When trying to ascend the mundane one is transported to another world , no one knows why, but it is believed that it is a form of test, an obstacle that has to be overcome in order to ascend.
Problematic is that nearly every world is desolate and harsch for purely intelligent based species, so all kinds of beasts inhabit these worlds
Horrors that can not even be imagined dwell is ancient worlds, talked of only in legends.
When asked to describe Worlds like this in general, deadly.
A puddle of yellow liquid ,
" I often forget how ordanary I look"
Staring back at me was a boy only to have come of age, approximately 18 years old, dark brown wavy, or rather curly hair and an ordinary visage with little features that would stand out.
As if trying to comfort my self I recount my conviction
"Most important is to stay alive, do not take unnecessary risks that can get you killed, do not be the hero. Think ahead all times , nativity kills, be prepared always, for every possibility that comes to mind"
Only like that I can assure my life in this perilous terrain that wishes to extinguish the flame smdering in my heart with everything it got.

My eyes seem to have chainged a bit, a yellow hue is surrounding my irises
"I knew mutations could accure when entering a new world , but I hope this won't effect my sight"
It is tradition that when one tries to ascend, they have to lose their previous Name and can only rename themselves after making the first step towards ascending.
My previous name ? It does not matter
My quest now is to survive and reclaim the right to posses a name.
