Chapter 2 - new kid

I roll my eyes to the side of my not listening to the kid that flips his eye lids over one another. I don't care for what he speaks about at all. I watch curiously as a girl who's wearing a tiara and a happy birthday shirt is annoyedly being berated by a blonde boy. Before I came here I made sure to look at the year book. I'll have to relook at it when I get home. I see her glare at everyone as the boy picks on her clothes and her looks.

She's trying to ignore it. Though I can tell it hurts her that even her "friends" don't stick up for her. She stands and tries to storm out and is told to come back. I smirk amused and it sees she somehow feels my smirk and glares at me. I let out a small smile though she doesn't see it since she turns to go back to her seat. After a short bit she ask to leave and that she does. I wait before asking to use the bathroom too. I raise my hand and ask to go. They just nod and wave a hand. I go to the boys room and hear a sniffle I shake my head and pull out her back pack. I took it this morning during breakfast and surprisingly she didn't seem to notice. It's a pretty empty back pack she left her iPad in first hour this morning and didn't even notice. I check the pocket she put the 5 dollars she had at break fast this morning. I replace it with a hundred dollars and put the five in a different pocket for her to find later. I hear her wonder the halls and speak to her teachers that she's been to so far all of them saying no. I smile amused with her yes she definitely needs more sleep that's for sure. I wait for the bell to ring to be the first person in class and stuff the backpack in her desk. I watch her almost the entire time wondering if she'll notice. I feel eyes on me and turn to see that same boy that won't leave her alone. I resist the urge to glare at him and I ignore him focusing on the lecture instead. Sneaking Nessa glances occasionally. She's spaced out but obviously doesn't like anyone in the class. She looks ready to dart for the door and there's a unmistakable feeling of loneliness. All her friends sit to together at a different table and whisper to each other occasionally.

She finds it and instead of letting out a smile she looks slightly worried. Like she's guilty. I'm confused. At the end of the class the teacher gives us time to work on our problems and she works up the courage to ask the teacher to go to the principals office to call her mom. She leaves and everyone nosily watches her. I see her almost freeze and she walks by me letting out a shaky breath. She glares at everyone as she shuts the door.

I ask to go to the bathroom and Mrs. Dutton allows it I go out and listen to her in the office ask her mom if she ever found that $100 I curse in my head. Damn it of course she's gonna think it's her moms or something. I'll have to give her more money later than. When she's done talking I sigh and just head to my next class though it seems like she had the same idea.
