My name is Scott Saw McKnight, and let's be honest — I've never exactly stood out.
Growing up, I was always just the other McKnight. But my brother? A genius, he started reading by two a Chess grandmaster by seven an Engineering prodigy, handsome, Respected. Perfect.
Me? I tried to keep up and I failed over and over Until I gave up — on school, on people, on myself.
I became a ghost in my own life. The average kid with no spark.
Or so I thought.
One random day, while half-asleep in my room, I got the call:
Mr. McKnight, this is Command.
You've been accepted into the Nano Soldier Protocol. Your deployment date has already passed. This is a final courtesy call to confirm whether your absence was due to oversight or error.
Per protocol, once your enlistment documents are signed, withdrawal is no longer an option. You are fully aware of the consequences of non-compliance.
