Chapter 1 - Eyes were watching

CHAPTER 1

Arya arrived on campus with loud music blasting from her car, and everyone turned to see the new outfit she was about to unleash. She always changed outfits, and the girls loved taking inspo from her style.

She stepped out of her car, tossed her jacket over her shoulder, and walked straight to her best friend Helen so they could go to class together. Arya didn't like walking down the school hallway alone — it made her feel lonely and uncomfortable.

She entered her lecture hall and sat in the first empty seat she saw. Helen wasn't taking that particular class, so a lot of students were throwing glances her way. A few even tried to sit next to her, but she declined, saying the seat was already taken.

Arya kept her eyes on her phone the entire time. When she finally looked up, she caught the flirtatious gaze of Elvis.

Elvis was the captain of the school football team, and tons of girls threw themselves at his feet. He gave Arya a devilish smile and licked his lips — the kind of look that said, "I want to eat you up."

"What's with this deranged fool?" she muttered under her breath.

As he was about to approach her, Arya looked around and spotted an unfamiliar face. She knew she had to do something to stop Elvis from coming any closer.

"Hey, over here!" she called, waving at the guy she'd just seen.

"Here's your seat," she said, flashing a big smile.

Kelvin sat down, still unsure why she had pretended to know him or lied about the seat being his. But he played along to avoid embarrassing her. He also noticed the deadly glare Elvis shot in his direction.

"What's up with him? Do you know that guy?" Kelvin whispered.

"Don't let his stare bother you. He's just trouble," Arya replied. "And thanks for playing along without any warning."

She added with a grin,

"By the way, this is my first time seeing such a handsome face around here. Is this your first lecture?"

"Yeah, I'm a transfer student. Today's my first day on campus."

"Ah, sorry! I probably made your first day chaotic," Arya said with a fake guilty face.

"Not at all," Kelvin smiled. "Honestly, I enjoy messing with guys like him."

They both laughed, and it made Elvis even more furious.

Just then, the lecturer entered, and the students focused their attention. The lecturer called out the name of the new transfer student and asked him to come to the front of the class. Everyone turned to see who it was, and Kelvin stood up and walked forward.

He introduced himself confidently, and the girls in class erupted in applause and excited cheering.

"OMG, he also has a really nice smile."

"He's so fucking hot — I want a chance with him."

"I want to taste him so bad."

"Come to me, babe — I want to ride you."

He heard some of the comments and laughed quietly to himself. When he returned to his seat, he noticed Arya smiling at something on her phone.

"What's with the killer smile?" he asked.

"Oh, nothing... just the girls' comments on your picture that someone posted in our class group," she said.

Kelvin looked at the picture and read the wild, sexual comments people were making about him.

"Add me to the group?" he asked.

"Of course," Arya replied, already adding him. She was an admin.

The class didn't hold after all — the students' noise and chaos made the lecturer walk out. Everyone started to leave, but many girls threw seductive glances at Kelvin as they passed.

He noticed something strange — whenever Arya was looking at her phone or not paying attention, the girls flirted with him more. But the moment she looked up, they backed off. Her presence seemed to scare them.

He was curious but didn't ask her. Instead, they sat there talking for a while — just small things, nothing serious, but both of them were enjoying the conversation.

Arya suddenly spotted her brother outside.

"I'll excuse myself now. I have something to handle," she said, rushing out.

"Nice meeting you, byeee," Kelvin said, though he could tell she didn't hear him.

From the window, he watched her grab some guy's shirt, and they both laughed. Kelvin felt a little disappointed.

"Why do I even care? What's with this nonsense feeling?" he muttered, shaking it off.

He walked to the car park. Just as he was about to open his car door, someone tapped him on the shoulder.

He turned to see a stunning girl dressed in an outfit that was almost see-through.

"I'm very expensive," she said boldly, "but I'll be free for you because you're so handsome."

"Excuse me, what?" Kelvin asked.

"I know you want to taste me, so I'm doing you the favor of having me however you want."

He was stunned by her boldness.

"I don't like eating food that's already been served to the whole public — if you know what I mean," Kelvin said calmly before getting into his car and driving off.

People nearby who had witnessed the scene laughed and mocked the girl — Tina. She had just been publicly rejected.

No one ever rejected Tina. She had hooked up with almost every guy in school and always got what she wanted thanks to her body. So, seeing a guy turn her down shocked everyone.

Tina stormed off in anger, and the gossip spread like wildfire.

Meanwhile, Arya was still arguing with her brother Dave about leaving her behind that morning when her phone beeped.

She looked at the message and wondered who it was. Then she remembered Kelvin — she immediately knew it was from him.

"Why are you giggling at your phone? Who are you texting? Let me see," Dave tried to snatch her phone..
